I experienced a severe adverse reaction of 75% hair loss after having a Kenalong inj. to my thumb on 3/1/17. Stay away from this poison! I had to buy a wig; and my hair is still progressively falling after the 12 weeks! Dehumanizing! ## That is odd, it is actually used to treat hair loss. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including administration site irritation, redness, dryness, and flaking. Are you on any other medications? How long after receiving it did the hair loss start? How old are you?

I will be starting my monthly injections this week. Did my 5 weeks than waited the month. The last week and a half I have been cleaning my brush out daily (full of hair). My scalp plaques are all but gone just like a light dandruff so I'm thinking that it's more likely to be from the Cosentyx rather than clogged hair follicles. Has anyone else had this happen? 2 months ago my doctor prescribed Pradaxa because I have Dvt. I have other health issues therefore I take quite a few meds. After 1 month on Pradaxa, I said to the doc, there are 2 things a woman doesn't want to happen, 1-gain weight and 2- lose your hair. My genius doc said, hair loss is not a side effect. Told him I don't know where ha gets his info. I took it upon myself to stop Pradaxa. I have been off for 1 week & my hair keeps falling out. I have just stated using methotrexate injections for RA after using tablets which gave me mouth ulcers and nausea. Have also used Arava and other RA meds without success . I am also on occasional predisalone as I gain too much weight and am a type 1 diabetic and blood sugars go up considerably. I also take 300mg of plaquenil each day for my arthritis. I had 3 shots of Kenalog injected into my scalp on September 22nd. Within three weeks I noticed 2 "dents" atrophy where the dermatologist injected into my scalp. I have discoloration around the site as well but worst of all I have lost SO much hair on my temples from the shot.
