Who should use this medicine, dosage and how long? ## Hi Fran, This inhaler is used for the management of reversible bronchospasm associated with obstructive airway diseases (eg, bronchial asthma). It is also prescribed for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) on a regular inhaled bronchodilator who continue to have evidence of bronchospasm and who require a second bronchodilator. Dosage information and length of treatment is indicated to be provided by your doctor or pharmacist on a case by case basis. NOTE: I was able to locate dosage info for the liquid version of this medication, but I would think liquid has completely different administration instructions than an inhaler. I hope this info helps! ## When will this inhaler be available again in the market? Its b...

I am wondering if there are any interactions that I should be aware of with using the Albuterol Inhaler along with Adderall XR for Adult ADD. ## Hi Susan, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Albuterol and Adderall XR. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. On a side note, there are moderately unsafe interactions found between Adderall XR and alcohol: "Alcohol may potentiate the cardiovascular effects of amphetamines." Stopped taking this six weeks ago and have had joint and muscle pain bad could this be due to stopping medication ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? How long were you using it? As listed by the FDA, it does contain a steroid and stopping it may cause some withdrawal effects, if you were using it for a long time, but 6 weeks is an unusual time frame to still be experiencing them. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, weight gain and acne. Are you on any other medications?

I have long been a poor sleeper, aggravated by cough, sore throat and mucus. Finally I had my stomach stitched; no difference and the medics have lost interest. Cetirizine and inhalers don't help except menthol. Is it possible that an inhaler with benzedrine would help me sleep better? Thanks, Mike. ## Hello, Mike! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. Benzedrine is a mixture of amphetamines, so it may help you breathe better, but you'll not likely get much sleep, since it's a stimulant. The FDA also warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as nervousness and headache. What procedure did you have done on your stomach? Have you been checked for GERD? ## Thank you for replying. After persistent coughs...
