Pain management doc in Indiana that will prescribe meds
2 Replies RSS
Is there a pain management doc in Indy that will see you without a referral? I have no family doc but have been seeing a pain management doc since '90's. Is taking away all pain meds except patches. Was taking 10/325 Hydrocodone per day with 25 fentanyl. Every doc I call to see if I can find someone to just leave me where I was requires a referral and records faxed from doctors office. I have my records but they won't take from me. Any help on this would be much appreciated. ## Indygirl, unfortunately there are some patients that try and alter their medical records. That is the reason they want your medical records to be sent directly from your previous drs office. If you can't find a dr that will take you without a referral, you may have to find a pcp. It also isn't... ...

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability. More on the medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I also have atipam, peach colored, no marking, brownfront and silver bubble packed -2mg indi-swift. Is this safe. My problem is much like so many others on here. After being treated with meds for 12 years (120 Soma per month as well as 180 Norco 10 and 120 Valium 10) my wife which is on full disability was also treated by the same doc for 9 years. The doctor was raided by local police and DEA but was never charged with anything unfortunately the local press basically tried and convicted him in 1 week smear campain. As a result he never his.practice and allowed his medical license to expire. It's now been 22 months and the DEA still has my medical file as well as 15 other patients. It has been the closest thing to hell as I have every known. I can't even get a doctor to write a prescription for my gout medication. I now realized the amount of drugs I was receiving was excessive I... ...

Hi ive been on suboxone for 4yrs but my dr is no longer taking medicaid, and i just found out this week that i have ra,my question is since ive been on suboxone in the padt will medicaid pay for me to get back on pain meds? ## Hello, Phyllis! How are you? If you were on it for addiction treatment, you'll likely have a bigger problem getting a doctor to prescribe it. Most are very reluctant to do so and many will simply recommend that you stay on Suboxone. Has it helped with your pain, at all? You can check for doctors in your area that treat with by using the website click here. You can search by zip code and the results will include their contact information so you can see if they are accepting new patients and what insurances they accept. looking for doc in indianapolis area for pain meds. Fell off a horse and landedon my neck. My doc will only give injections. ## Hi! Sorry that you're in pain. Is there any chance that your doctor can refer you to someone else for pain management? The reason I'm asking is because you're in the part of the U.S. that was hit with the new regulations as of April 1st of this year, due to very high rates of over prescribing and improper prescribing of controlled substances…and due to these new regulations, general practice doctors are greatly restricted in what they can prescribe and how long they can prescribe it. Thus, anyone requiring long-term treatment for pain will need to be referred to a pain management specialist and the easiest way to get an appointment with one of... ...

I live in Portland Indiana. I just can't get a break with these doctors here. My old doctor was in Michigan but I could no longer make the trip up. Doctors here give things my doctor has tried for years only to have them fail for my pain. Norco was only thing that actually worked. I have been pain free till I moved to Indiana. Now I can't get pain management to fill norco, but they offer morphine which I refused, so they refused to see me. Can anyone help here? It's bad enough I have hard time getting out of bed. I just want to live life and function. ## I hope a doctor from Portland see's this. I'm sick of the bureaucrat. To get relief from pain. Even with your medical records, there is no guarantee. ## Dr. A, at Summit Pain Management is great at listening to your needs. oxycodone 80 mg no markings white from india

I don't think these are real. They r supposed to be 80mg oxycodone. They are white with no markings at all. Come in packs of ten. ## Hi Joel, Based on your description, I honestly don't believe these are real either. Not just because they're foreign, but since they don't have any markings whatsoever, it could literally be anything from A to Z. It might be a good idea to try and get your money back if you're able to. Depending on what form of payment you used, there are certain companies like paypal that offer some degree of buyer protection... but to what extent, I don't know. Does any part of the product labeling happen to list the name of a manufacturer by chance? ## Maybe they are oxycontin, which doesnt do crap for me and they are the easy meds to get ## Yes ... ...

Small scored light green pill, came in blister pack from, it was clonazepam 2 mg... no imprint, came in blisters of 10... I believe it was manufactured in India. I am not sure if this is legitimate, any help would be appreciated! ## Yes, they are the real deal. I think they are a little weak...I need to take 2 instead of 1 to get the effects, but I certainly DO get the Clonazepam feeling. Jpee was the manufacturer out of India and I have had that brand before and I have had that brand before with Xanax as well. Both are just might need to take a weeny bit more to get the effect of an American generic. ## I just ordered the generic klonipin 2 mg. from quality meds in the blister packs from India. I have been on 80 mgs of Percocet for a number of ailments for 9years and now because of some kind of law I only get 22,5 mgs a day. You will not EVER get meds like that again in INDIANA. We are the second strictest state now. I'm only 25 years old, but have the spine of someone twice my age with degenerating discs and one herniated disc, due to years of excessive exercise and heavy lifting. Most of the time my pain is under control, but when it gets bad, even on 50mg of hydrocodone a day I can barely move. But of course no doctor wants to prescribe a 25 y/o anything stronger. I've been researching local doctors and pain management centers and one that came up was Dr. Daniel Cha of Valparaiso, IN. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with him and if so, is he any good? and does he not treat you like a total junkie (like many pain management doctors do)? ## yes, ha i WAS his patient. he has no bedside manner, he cut his whole practice down on meds, mg wise. if you got insurance and want to ge... ...

I need an Indianapolis doctor that accepts Medicaid and no afraid to prescribe pain medication

My husband has lumbago (lower back pain) and I gets pretty bad where it keeps him up at night. He had Medicaid however he's switched to a few doctors and none are willing to give him anything that works for him for pain these days 2 years ago he was on a combination of Valium and norco but since that doctor was no longer available the next doctor would t prescribe them. And since then it has been really hard to get pain meds with all the crack downs on it. He takes naproxen and flex aril and the naproxen doesn't touch the pain Tylenol works sometimes when he's not feeling too bad and ibprophin is a joke. He has asked to stop flexaril when he takes it it upsets his stomach something terrible so today the doctor took him off of it and didn't replace it. He is interested in... ...
