does anybody know how to translate percocet/oxycodone in espanol/spanish ## There really isn't a translation. There may be Mexican brand names for it, but if you're looking for Oxycodone, you'll still see that on the label, since it is the chemical name. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm trying to find out what the Spanish names are for the medications I take. Will be moving to Central America soon. ## Hi, Lynn! Can you post back with a list of the medications you are taking? If you do so, I'll gladly look them up for you to check the Spanish names. Some are very similar and some aren't. For example, the antibiotic Ampicillin is just Ampicilina, so it's a pretty simple one.

it is a pain med from mexico??? ## Afriend of mine just returned from Mexio after having her teeth pulled and dentures made. The Dr. gave her Dorixina for pain and we were wondering, 1. what is in it 2. is there any equivilent here in the U.S. if so , What is it?? ## I was given Dorixina by an MD and relative in Colombia for migraines. I just found info in spanish on the web: it is a non-narcotic analgesic with no side-effects, and can be used with various types of pain (not just migraines). It is a much better choice than hydrocodone/codeine type meds which I have had to take a lot, so I'm very glad to find out about this although apparently it's not available in the US (no doubt for BIG PHARM reasons, since my sample is produced by Roemmers, in Venezuela). Eating a diet consisting primary of fresh fruits and vegetables can help your body heal itself over time, and may even lessen the severity of symptoms that you might be experiencing. I have a very bad cold, lots of mucus and coughing. We are presently in Maz. Mexico and my husband bought the pennicilin at a local drugstore but I can't read spanish so don't know how many to take? Thanx, Gloria ## A cold is caused by a virus, not an infection, so an antibiotic is not effective against it. You also run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant baccteria if you use it inappropriately. That said, the normal Penicillin dosing is usually about 3 tablets a day, taken 8 hours apart, but this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult a doctor. It an also cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. Have you seen a doctor, yet?
