I refilled my amlodipine today. The pill I have been taking is blue with an M and A9 on back The new one is white (as above Ig on front and 238 on back). What is this pill for and what is the adult prescription? ## I'm guessing that the "Amox" is for Amoxicillin - with that in mind, the other parts of your description could indicate the compound Clavulanic Acid. A brand name of this combination is Augmentin. Can you provide any specific markings, color, and shape of the pills? This would allow me to give you the exact drug name. As for what I guessed above, you can read more about that medicine, and you will see that it is an antibiotic (for killing infection)... Hope this helps!
