I Need Xanax

I have suffered from paralyzing fear and ulcerative colitis when I get very nervous. The ONLY thing that seems to help is Xanax and xanax xr. I need a prescription and I have yet to find a great doctor that takes my illness seriously and realizes I cannot function with severe stomach cramps and dirahhea. I have been to some psychiatrists and they say that they wasn't o wean me off the pills, but I know that I will not be able to function well or at all. Please let me know how to find a doctor that will help me and not judge me since I get VERY sick and have bloody diarrhea when so upset. purple football with an imprint of IFA, is this IFA the manufacturer? is it xanax? thought this was a one 1mg, but normally are blue. ## I believe the purple xanax is the equivalent of about 4 x 2mg of clonazapam.....they r strong....either break them in 2 or take a very strong pill! Help please in Tulsa or surrounding area ## Personally, I think if you suffer from anxiety/depression and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), your best bet is usually to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. They are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and can also help you treat the underlying cause of your anxiety or depression (for long term relief), as opposed to just temporarily covering up the feelings and emotions with medication. My doc prescribed 1.5 (1mg) xanax 3x daily. But with work and other pressures my anxiety is pretty much constant. That said, it contains 15mgs of Buspirone, which is used to treat anxiety and though it is in a different class of medications, many people do think it's similar to Xanax, but it's not a benzodiazepine. how can you check to see if the pills are real or fake(besides looking at them) ## ## If they are the name brand, from the U.S., then twe's post should be helpful. There are, however, also many generics on the market and many available from foreign countries, as well. The legal, U.S. generics are required by law to have some type of imprint on the tablet, to enable their identification. If the tablets you are questioning are from the U.S. and have an imprint, then if you post back with it, I can easily look it up for you to see if it contains Alprazolam.
