non narcotic pain relief
I can not take any NSAIDs due to being a gastric bypass patient and there is too much of a risk of a bleed with these drugs.. I am already on hydrocodone so I can not take any other narcotic analgesics. Is there any other non narcotic chronic pain reliever out there to supplement the hydrocodone. Can't take tramadol now because NYS classified this as a narcotic. My doctor is going crazy trying to find something for me and has had no luck so far. ## Why can't you take another narcotic? They are very commonly combined to give someone better pain relief. People with severe pain are often given a long acting narcotic along with a regular or instant release one for breakthrough pain. But if your doctor doesn't want to combine them, you could switch to a different one that's s... ...

is pregabalin a narcotic
I am trying to quit pregabalin but its so dificult bcause i dnt feel well, get diareah and very lazy. What do you recommend me to do?the doctor put me on olnzapine but this doest work... ## Hi! Sorry about the problems you're having. No, it's not a narcotic. Pregabalin is actually an anticonvulsant that is also helpful in treating certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. But that means that it works on brain chemicals, so it can cause some withdrawal type effects, when you try to stop taking it. Learn more Pregabalin details here. The best thing to do would be to talk to your doctor about setting up a slow tapering schedule, that can help you discontinue this medication, without severe withdrawal effects. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

How effective is Linzess
I was diagnosed with impacted bowels today and prescribed 290 mcg of Linzess. My pcp indicated this would get my bowels cleaned out (that I would basically have diarrhea until I am cleaned out) and then I will use it for maintaining good bowel movements. I am wondering how long it will take for it to start working for the cleanout as I need to go back to work but can't until I get this process over. ## Hello, Rena! How are you doing? It has passed the same FDA panel for approval as other medications used for the same or similar conditions. However, the only way to see if it will work for you is by actually trying it. Have you started it, yet? ...

Where Can I Buy Paregoric
Have always had this in the med cabinet for occasional stomach cramps. Am finally running low. I'm 67 years old. Suggestions? ## We've had many questions about this product recently and I can only inform you that it has been discontinued. The main problem with it is that it contained a tincture of Opium, which lead to severe abuse and addiction in some people. These dangers led to it being pulled from the market. From what I understand, it is now only available by prescription, in the U.S. You can read more here: You may want to ask your doctor or pharmacist for a product that can help with stomach cramping. Proper treatment requires discovering what is causing the cramping. Are there any other comments or questions? ## I too are trying to figure out what they are doing with Par... ...

Unexplained Weight Loss
Thyroids checked out, no explanation for weight loss; over 15 lbs in less than 5 months. Muscles seem to be deteriorating, very weak. Any ideas, anyone? ## Hi Lillianna, There could be many factors that might be attributing to this unexplained weight loss. In the past 5 months, you had to have done something/anything differently to experience such a drastic change in weight without you noticing/trying. - What's your diet like? Are you eating regular meals throughout the day and "suddenly" changed your eating habits or overall caloric intake? - Have you been exercising regularly? - Have you been taking any new medications or supplements? - Are you experiencing more stress on a daily basis than what your body is comfortable with? Those are just some of the things I can think o... ...

If I stand to long I feel faint and all I can do is lay in bed. Should I continue this medication if it's making me feel this horrible after just one dose? ## Sorry to hear that Sertraline isn't working out for you. This drug can cause a wide variety of side effects, many of which you can view by clicking here. nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, excessive tiredness, & headache are all regarded as common side effects. cost of generic suboxone
Simple question needed here: How much does either generic Suboxone cost without insurance... Brand name is about $400+ a month. Please advise, anyone who had purchases these new generics W/O insurance. Thanks! ## @RealityVeil, It's always going to depend on the quantity of pills you receive, but from what I've read on a number of sites, 30 sublingual tablets of the generic version can cost about $200-300+ cash at places like CVS or RiteAid. I'd also keep in mind that are coupons out there (such as this one: medschat.com/rx_discount_card.asp) which can save you up to 15-75% off your Rx, potentially cutting the cost in half. You don't need insurance to use these discount cards, so it's pretty much a win win if you're trying to save money. I hope this helps! ...

uses of hydroxyz hcl 25 mg for ezema ## Hydroxyzine is used primarily as an antihistamine for the treatment of itches and irritations, an antiemetic for the reduction of nausea, as a weak analgesic by itself and as an opioid potentiator, and as an anxiolytic for the treatment of anxiety. Weight gain using Cylift?
I am a 42 year old woman and have gained weight on a steadily basis since using cylift. My diet and exercise regime has not changed. Not even dieting can assist because the scale just keeps on creeping up, slowly but surely. Can this be happening to me? ## Cilift contains the active ingredient Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant and to be honest, this class of medications is notorious for causing weight gain.
