Can anyone help me wit the question of is methadone sugarfree. Im on methadone (45mls pinadone) now obviously yo-yoed r the years but the one problem iv found is my teeth are wrecked since being on it. My doctor in the clinic says its sugarfree that's why they use pinadone solution but any dentist iv been to hav said it wrecks teeth. So what is the answer because i think as methadone patients/clients we have the right to know the truth to that long asked question. ## I completely agree with you my Dennis just said the same thing to me I've been on methadone for a year this time and have had three teeth pulled in eight cavities filled just from one year so they're lying just like they say the you can't be in withdrawal after 12 hours that's BS too ## Hey guys, it real...

I am 31 and have a life insurance policy where I am a "non-smoker" (I know, bad move) I want to get Chantix and quit smoking, but am worried that my life insurance company can find out about the prescription and deny any future benefits should i kick the bucket. Any truth in this? I realize this question is very off topic, but couldnt find an answer anywhere. Thanks in advance. ## I think It's probably going to be rather difficult to give a completely accurate answer to this without actually working for the insurance company and having access to their list of policies. Honesty is always the best policy in my opinion, since things do eventually come full-circle if you believe in karma. Not to say that this is a bad thing, but I'd probably use other more natural methods to...

I had been taking 90mg of cymbalta for about a month or so, and I ended up with a manic episode. My doctor told me to immediately stop taking the cymbalta and put me on 5mg of abilify. I believe I am now experiencing cymbalta withdrawal (so far, severe dizziness and body aches) and I'm just confused as to why my doctor would have me completely stop 90mg of cymbalta if withdrawal was a risk. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to lessen the withdrawal symptoms. ## Only the doctor can give you a definitive answer, but the best guess would most likely be that they were concerned about the medication possibly inducing more manic episodes, which it can sometimes do, according to FDA reports. The only thing that will really lessen the withdrawal symptoms, now, is time. Has ther...

My BF of 11 years asks me questions about my EX while asleep on Trazodone, Ambien and Valium and says "it is the truth coming out", he has done this several times and every time he does it he doesn't like the answers. Are these combined with a truth serum or am I just in a fog and not really understanding the questions and just giving random answers? Oh Yah, I don't remember any thing the next morning and am given the worst treatment ever (and I am disabled, so I need his help, especially with our 8 yr. old). Anyone gone through this or have an answer? ## No, no truth serum or anything in them. However, if this occurs frequently, it could mean that you're overmedicated for sleeping, that's a lot to take each night. The FDA also warns that the Valium carries the r...

I am somewhat upset about a phone call that was made to my home phone about a week ago by the doctor office I go to for addiction treatment because now someone knows that I AM receiving addiction treatment services, where I receive those services and the medication I am taking for the addiction. Let it be known that I did NOT give this doctor office consent to talk to ANYONE other than myself about my treatment, EVER. I do have roommates that I don't necessarily want knowing information about my doctor's, medication or course of treatment, it is not their business. The doctor office called my landline number very early on a Tuesday morning and I was asleep so one of my roommates answered the phone. Later in the day, I looked through the caller ID and saw my doctor's office h...

Can a pregnant women take AZ Antioxidants multivitamin multimineral tables also cane a pregnant women take Raricap Haematinic tablets and for how long ## Help, Nisha! How are you? Congratulations on your pregnancy. The standard answer that I must give to any pregnant woman is to always, always check with your doctor, before taking anything. It doesn't matter if it's an over the counter product or prescription, always check with your OB Gyn. There can be many factors that play a role in whether or not it safe for you to take something while pregnant and it would be remiss of me or anyone else to try to guess and tell you that you can take something. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I have been taking 50 mg twice a day of metoprolol tartrate since May. Doc wants to double the dose all at once...200 mg a day because BP was elevated a little (from a panic attack, I believe). So the 50 mg scored pills were a pink pill. The 100 mg pills are blue scored pills. If I am too afraid to double the dose all at once, is cutting the scored 100 mg tablet the same as two 50 mg tablets? I do have panic/anxiety disorder and med phobia..thats why I am too afraid to double the dose all at once, especially because of the side effects I had when I started the 50 mg tablets...i.e., anxiety, nervouness, dizziness. I expressed to her my concern and she said, "you"ll be fine". Completely did not understand or care about my concerns. Thanks for any answers you can give as far as...

How long to wait to drive after a spinal lamenectomy ## Hi, Joe! Sorry that you have to have such a procedure done. However, your surgeon would be the best person to answer your question, because it is really going to depend on a number of factors, such as complications of the surgery, including how much of your spine is involved or all, as well as any medications you're taking afterwards for pain relief and etc. Has your doctor given you any idea on recovery time, yet?

Can I take Diane pills after 14 days of menstruation? ## Please can you give me some comments ## Hello, can i ask for some advice as well. After 20 days of my menstruation if I have intercourse, is it ok if I take diane 35 pills? Is it still safe?Or is there still a possibility of getting pregnant? Please, i need your response. Thank you. ## Hello, Kyryl! How are you? You can start them, at any time, as long as your doctor approves, but if you don't start them on the first or second day of your period, it will take a full week for them to become effective to prevent pregnancy. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting and PMS-like symptoms. Leahjean, the same answers applies to your question, you must take them for a full...

can my dog take doxycyclLXHF ## To answer your question, yes, Doxycycline (for dogs) is a broad spectrum antibiotic that kills different types of bacterial infections in pets. It’s a prescription medication that’s commonly administered to dogs suffering from Lyme disease and Chlamydia. In addition to this, vets often prescribe doxycycline to treat urinary tract infections and certain medical conditions like the Rocky Mountain spotted fever. As far as dosing goes, the guidelines state that dogs should be given 2mg to 5mg of the drug, per pound of body weight every 12 hours or 24 hours. However the dosage and duration of treatment depend upon the type of infection your dog is suffering from. And although it isn’t necessary to give t...

I am on cymbalta 60mg at night and 30mg in the morning along with 200mg of gabapentin 3x a day for fybromayalgia and mild depression. I was given adderall 30mgs and I took a few of them. I felt focused but had started to sweat excessively for a couple of hours and my pupils are dilated. I looked up the symptoms and it linked me to serotonin syndrome. Being freaked out I didn't take my gabapentin or cymbalta yet today. My question is...if I took 60mg of adderall this morning, should I take the other two scripts (cymbalta and gabapentin) today or skip them and wait 24 hrs for the adderall to leave my system? Do I need medical attention or am I being paranoid? My muscles are cramping up in my back and hands so I'm not sure if this is caused from skipping my meds for fibromyalgia or...

I Have Lisinopril & Would Like To Know What It Treats ,What Time Of Day To Take It ... ## Hi Richie, According to NIH, Lisinopril is classified as an ACE inhibitor, indicated for use in treating high blood pressure as well as heart failure. Concerning what time of day it should be taken is entirely up to you and your doctor. To my knowledge there are no specific details in the manufacturer's product pamphlet that suggest taking it at a given time of day. Furthermore, information I have read on dosing only depicts it as being taken once daily. With that said, I'd encourage you to contact your prescribing doctor for administrative protocols that are right for you. And to answer the question in your thread title, "Lupin" is simply the name of the drug manufacturer (Lupi...

I took a 1/4 of a suboxone a friend had given me around 6:00 pm today. How long do I have to wait until I can take a Percocet for pain and not get it and have it work? ## 1/4 of a suboxone isn't a very detailed description how many MG's was the strip?(i know this is an old comment but whatever) ## I know this topic is a few weeks old, but I do agree with josh (post #1) in that the answer to the original thread question would largely depend on how many milligrams of Suboxone you're taking. Based on some other cases I've seen, I'd take a shot in the dark and say it may be up to a week before it's out of your body. Although several personal factors such as age, weight, diet, etc, could also influence the excretion rate. I hope this info helps! Please post back if yo...

How much for just one pliva 441 50 pill ## im using a multivitamine and mineral, called JUSTONE.for how long should this be taking ## @Oscar, I don't believe pharmacies fill prescriptions for 1 tablet at a time, so in order for you to figure out the cost of a tablet, you would have to first determine the price of your full prescription and simply divide that number by the quantity of pills you received. Example: if a script of 30 pills cost $75, then each tablet would come out to about $2.50. @Richard, I haven't heard of or found any information on that particular brand of multivitamins, so unfortunately I can't give you a straight answer to your question. But if you're asking how long you should take them, I think it largely depends on whether or not you're body is d...

Does m15 m blue pills cause you to have energy. Or is it like a soma just relaxes you? ## The pill you are describing is identified as Morphine sulfate extended release 15 mg. Interestingly enough, some people do get lots of energy from taking Morphine. But there are others who become more prone to its side effects, which can bring about a sense of tiredness. You may want to give it a trial run to see how well you respond to it. A list of side effects can be found here: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682133.html#side-effects Just keep in mind: the things you eat and your activity level can really impact what energy you do have and how this drug might affect it.
