Is it good for anxiety attacks ## Did you mean to say Clozapine? I haven't come across any medications listed under the name Clotypin. Clozapine is in a class of medications called atypical antipsychotics. However it's only indicated for use in the treatment of symptoms associated with schizophrenia. Anxiety may be an off-label use, but since it doesn't list it as an indication I would probably still recommend contacting your doctor about using it for that specific purpose. - just to be on the safe side. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Clozapine Details I hope this info helps!

Are there legal limitations or problems related to the use of Quick Clot by first responders or by the general public ## Quikclot has been approved by the FDA for external use and has been used successfully by the U.S. Military for a number of years. I have personal experience using it to stem otherwise uncontrollable bleeding by my elderly mother who uses Coumadin. She has cut herself in the kitchen and previous to finding Quikclot had to go to ther ER to deal with the bleeding. In addition, I have used it on myself to deal with a severe cut. As I said above, the product is FDA approved and I would think that there should be no limitation on the use of Quikclot by either first responders or by the general public. Any person who uses blood thinners should have it in their home medicine ...

My brother got traumatized on the left shoulder which resulted to heart palpitations. This was twenty years ago. The palpitations stopped after being on inderal and antiseptics. Now he experiences some severe pain on the left side from the inner ear down to the Kidney area. The pain migrates along that area. It gets more severe when he takes Sugar and red meat. Sometimes he experiences burning sensations in the legs and relieves it by taking a lot of water. He bleeds from the gum when its very hot or covers himself with a heavy blanket. hello I was wondering if anyone had gotten more clots while on xarelto? ## Yes...PE . Terrible drug..Shocking chest pain and awful fatigue . ## Hi Katie, Based on my research, several webpages do actually list warnings stating how Xarelto can cause serious blood clots around the spinal cord that could occur under a variety of certain circumstances (too many to list here). However, a law firm by the name of Schmidt Law has also confirmed the link between Xarelto and potentially life threatening blood clots. They appear to be actively taking cases for such claims. So if you or a loved one has experienced this issue (god forbid), something like that may be worth looking into as well. The idea of a blood thinner backfiring is pretty scary to say the least! I sincerely hope that all is well ...

can nitrofur/mona/macro 100 mg dosage cause blood clots? ## From what I could gather, Nitrofurantoin does not list blood clotting as a potential side effect at any dosage. This is not to say it can't happen, but this information is being pulled from government webpages, so there is a certain level of trust that comes with the information provided. I also researched to see if there were any contraindications or special precautions against those who may already have blood clots, and this does not appear to be a factor in the safety of this medication. "diarrhea that is watery or bloody" is closest side effect I was able to find on Nitrofurantoin. From my own observation, most blood clots are stemmed from one's dietary habits or smoking habits with cigarettes/tobacco. I hop...

It's very itchy with blotchy red spots. Can hyderm / clotrimaderm help my situation? ## This medication is used to treat fungal infections, such as yeast. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation, itching, burning, and flaking. Ouch, has there been any change? Are you sure you had a fungal infection? Dale, this will not help if your rash is due to some other issue. Are you on any medications? Did your doctor instruct you to use it?

I haven't had my period in six years after the birth of my daughter and I suddenly started to bleed 3 weeks back. I've been bleeding ever since and it's getting worse this morning. Everyday I've had clots, and today's blood clots were a handful size diameter. Should I be concerned? Please reply back. ## Yes, that is a sign that you may have a hormonal imbalance and you should see a doctor. In most cases, according to NIH reports, large clots are due to an excess amount of estrogen in your body. Your natural processes may not have been able to rebalance themselves after you had your daughter. Are you on any medications? The general rule is that you should see a doctor if you experience any clots that are approximately egg sized, or larger.

Have a tube of Clotrimazole Beta. Dipro. cream, 1%. Don't know how long I've had it and can't interpret date code on end of tube. It is 669K 00T12 -- please tell me what the expiration date is. ## Look at the metal end of the tube and you will see the expiration date. You may need a magnifier. It is etched. ## Bob, can you see the manufacturer name on there anywhere? If so let me know, maybe it would be possible to contact them with that lot # and they could know the date based on that? And Jasmine's suggestion is probably right too, any luck with that? Interested to know either way. ## I posted the "Exp. date" etched on the end of the tube. But it's not a date! My question is, what does it translate into, datewise? Guess I'll have to query the mfr. ## Mf...

Hi, I took clotrimazole yesterday at night and today in the morning it came out with blood / discharge. Is it normal or should I visit my doctor again? ## Yes, that can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. You may also experience redness, irritation, and itching. Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications? ## I administered the Clotrimazole tablet last night as prescribed by the doctor, but when I went to pee in the morning, it came out and it didn't dissolve. History of valvular incompetence and superficial thrombophlebitis of Greater Saphenous Vein (GSV) in the left leg. After being on Eliquis (5mg x2 per day) for a little over 2 1/2 months due to GSV clot propagating into femoral vein (although not that impressive), I developed a case of what appears to be superficial thrombophlebitis in the medial calf of the opposite (right) leg. This seems somewhat odd as if the Eliquis is not working. Will be making an appointment with my vascular doc next week (even though not scheduled to have follow-up ultrasound for initial DVT until 10 more days). Any thoughts? ## No medication can be guaranteed to work 100% of the time, or to work for everyone that tries it. Have you had the exam, yet? If so, did it turn out to be another clot? That means that this cream could be causing your daughter's skin to react. If it were me, I would discontinue the use of this product until you can meet with your physician. And no, drinking alcohol is likely not wise, until your course of treatment is done and the infection is cleared up, because it can further disrupt the proper bacterial balance in your mouth and throat and just make things worse.
