I am trying to figure out what pill this is that my 8 yr old step-daughter takes. I have used tons of pill ID websites, looked at over 400 different pictures of pills and found NO matches. From the prescription drug community website, next to the listed drug, Suboxone, was the word 'Buprenorphine'. Is this the generic drug for Suboxone? ## No what your husband has is generic subutex. It is buprenorphine alone. Suboxone has naloxone in it also. Their is no generic suboxone yet. Generic subutex is alot cheaper, but doctors dont like to prescribe it. I wish they would.
