My 7 month old was prescribed amox tr-K 600-42.9/5 suspension for an ear infection. I saw it had potassium and aspartame in it. I was also told to give my 7 month old Culturelle along with this which also has mannitol in it. Are these meds safe for a 7 month old and anything I should watch out for? ## Hello, Stephanie! Can someone help me identify these pills: Oval Yellow Marked 13 / 9 On One Side And G on the other. Also found a Diamond Shaped White Pill marked 7427 on one side and 9 / 3 on the other.The "/" is a break section in each pill. I found these in an unmarked pill bottle in the room of my son, who is an active alcoholic. He has quite a few if each. ## The first tablet with the G 13 9 contains 600mgs of Oxcarbazepine, which is used as an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer. Learn more Oxcarbazepine details here. And on the other one, I believe the marking is actually 93 7247 and, if so, then that tablet contains 150mgs of Lamotrigine, which is also an anticonvulsant with similar uses.
