It is generic for Lenox (Lomotil, I believe is another name brand). The medication is used for diarrhea, chronic colitis. Be careful not to get too dehydrated, possible blurred vision, fainting, marked drowsiness. Do not drink with this medication.

Just an FYI. I woke up in the hospital on a respirator after my teenage son found me. This was not intentional. I developed pneumonia. Oh! I woke up deaf. I couldn't hear for two days. My kidneys failed and I was on dialysis for 8 weeks. My overall hospital stay was almost four weeks. My family noticed a marked difference in my personality. Two years later I'm finally more like myself. I still take my pain meds, I developed an allergy to ambien and was told to never take any kind of anti inflammatory again! IMO most OD's are combos.
