Hello I had a question on tretinoin cream about it hepling for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation does it really help. I have the 0.1% and all my acne is gone but im stucm with these red dark marks on my face. Im 19 years old brown skin ## Hello, David! How are you? Actually, if you were using it for acne, then the Tretinoin cream could have caused the hyperpigmentation. It has been known to do that, according to the FDA medication information sheet. Other side effects can include skin irritation, sun sensitivity and stinging. Thus, it might not be something you want to use to try to get rid of this, unless your doctor has instructed you to use it for that. What else do you use on your skin? ## hello david, you can used supatreat 0.04% gel for your red marks. it is good cream for acne ...

There are several different things that may cause you to skip your menstrual cycle. It could be related to stress, being underweight, too much exercise, or even hormonal problems and it is going to be very difficult for anyone to know what problem is causing it, just from the limited information that you've provided. IT could even be related to your PCOD. Have you been under any treatment for that?

what is different of proxyvon & spasmoproxyvon cap's who is safe ## I am consuming spasmo proxy von due to abdominal problem but in 5 years it become a habit and taking 8 pills per day. now acute pigmentation started on my face, so I want to know that it is caused by the drug iam consuming or what is the effect of this drug on hyperpigmentation. ## Proxyvon contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene, it is a mild, narcotic pain reliever. Spasmo-Proxyvon contains Acetaminophen, Propoxyphene and Dicyclomine, so this combines the pain relieving properties with an antispasmodic, to treat muscle spasms or cramping. As to which is safe, in this case, since they both contain Propoxyphene, I have to say neither one is safe. Propoxyphene has been pulled from the marke...

I'm planning on using 80% TCA trichloroacetic acid in xanthelasma palpebrarum. Several articles compared the efficacy of 3 different strengths including 100% with excellent results. I;m looking for other who have experience with this treatment. CONCLUSION: 100% TCA gives the best results in papulo-nodular lesions, 100% or 70% TCA give similar results in flat plaque xanthelasma and in macular lesions 50% is sufficient. Hypopigmentation is the commonest side effect, followed by hyperpigmentation. Scarring is a minor problem.

I’m in week 4 of a prescribed 5 week treatment on my chest with Efudex . My skin has all the worst symptoms described in blogs. I felt that my skin was too raw to handle the cream twice a day. I have decided to only apply Efudex once a day for the rest of the treatment (12 days). Will this be a problem for my outcome? ## It would be best to speak with your doctor, before making any changes to your usage regimen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin burning, soreness, hyperpigmentation, photosensitivity, and scarring. Which ones are you experiencing? ## All of them. I had to sleep with a cold pack on the treated skin. Now 1 week after my last application (6 weeks total) Less pain and weeping but possibly weeks away to get back to normal. I have learned ...

How often (how many days per week) should this cream be used? I am 67 years old and am using it to treat sun damage (actinic keratoses) on my face. ## From what I was able to gather, the primary ingredient in Epitrel Tretinoina Cream is Tretinoin. Although I couldn't locate specific information stating how many days per week this should be used, I did find some other very important user information that you may find beneficial. The safety and administration guidelines for this medication note the following: "The effectiveness of Tretinoin Cream, USP (Emollient) 0.05% in the mitigation of fine wrinkles, mottled hyperpigmentation, and tactile roughness of facial skin has not been established in people greater than 50 years of age OR in people with moderately to heavily pigmented s...
