Hydrocodone Yellow Pill

twice now I have noticed this with my vintage yellow 10/325 norcos.... some of the time the V on the other side is facing upwards, and on some of the other pills it is facing downwards. Why is this? if they have pill presses made one way then why are some pills with the V up and some with the V down. both times I noticed this because it seemed to me the pills were not working at all and they taste sweet. this happened to my script 8 months ago and now they are not working again and I checked and again the V is upside down. if you face the 3601 rightside up, and turn the pill over, some of them have the V up and some of them have the V down, how can they get turned around in a pill press by the manufacturer and end up upside down? I just find it very odd when they do not seem to work, I ...

Do these contain an opiate blocker?? ## Hello, Kimbo! How are you? No, they contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, those are the only active ingredients. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is there any possible side effects that can occur if you were to take one then another 2 hours later?

I Found a blottle that read HYDROCODOE/APAP ELX PMA I was just curious as to how strong it was, it's yellow..If that matters any. ## I'm thinking the "ELX" probably stands for Elixir, which is liquid. And from what I could gather, Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen Oral Solutions come in dosages of: 7.5 mg/500 mg per 15 mL. I noticed that this dosage has yellow dye in it as well if that helps: "In addition, the liquid contains the following inactive ingredients: ammoniated glyyerrhizin, dibasic sodium phosphate, citric acid, ethyl maltol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, sodium gluconate, sorbitol solution, with D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6 as coloring, and natural and art...

I am used to taking the Yellow, generic 10/325 hydrocodone for a long time for chronic back pain from a car accident. They worked fine. Then I moved to LaSalle County in Illinois and they gave me white ones, three times. I know Watson was bought out by Activas. The worst white ones were from Walgreens! Does anyone know the manufacturer of the generic yellow hydrocodone / acetaminophen 10/325? And there is a BIG difference in pain relief regarding generic pain relievers! ## Unfortunately, the colors don't mean anything, so that is not enough for information for anyone to research this for you. Can you please post back with the markings on the tablets in question? That would enable someone to look into this for you. Thank you! As to possible differences, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of ...

I have a bright pink pill w orange\yellow powder. It is supposed to be a very strong norco but I'm not 100% Sure what it is?? Any advice? Or help ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then that means it's going to be difficult to determine exactly what the capsule contains. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it's not available in capsules on the manufactured pharmaceutical market, it's only available as tablets. Learn more Norco details here. If it contains these ingredients and is in an unmarked capsule, it would have to be a dosing that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy….however, the color of the powder makes me doubt that, because it's usually a white or off-white substance. That is why the tablets are white, ...

my doctor gave me a prescription for norcos 10's. when I went to the pharmacy they gave me a yellow oblong pill with 170 on one side and nothing on the other. They told me it was norco 10. did they make a mistake ## If it has 170 on it, is oblong & yellow it is Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. It does not have Hydrocodone 10 mg in it. Instead it has Hydrocodone 7.5 mg. ## The identification provided is correct. NDC: 57664-0170 The FDA wants that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything I can help with?

Is the yellow liquid solution of Hydrocodone-Apap a generic form of Vicodin? ## I was prescribed this stuff for pain relief after a tonsilectomy...bottle reads: 400 HYDROCODONE/ SOL APAP Take 2-4 teaspoonfuls every four hours as needed. My question is, is there a way to tell how many milligrams each of hydrocodone/acetominophen per teaspoon? I am concerned about the APAP as we all know it is toxic to the liver in high doses and would like to know how much is in each dose I take so I can monitor it. I am assuming the 400 on the bottle corresponds to that, but I don't know how it applies (ex. per teaspoon, or per reccomended dose of 2-4 an hour). Seems to me its a lot harder to find info on ratio of hydro. to APAP in liquid form, wheras it is almost common knowlege for the tablet-form...

What major drug store chain carries watson hydrocodone pills? ## There is really no way of knowing, the only thing you can try is asking the pharmacies who manufactures the ones they carry. Since it is a generic, it can vary, at any given time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when the pharmacy had to restock their supply. That is how they keep their prices down for customers. Are there any other questions? ## Bro f*** the Watson brand, the yellow v cuts that have a Flying V or the peach are way better. Watson are weak. If you put the peach r 7.5 against the 10/325, the peach wins and it's lower in strength, but stronger than Watson. ## Do you have to ask if they carry your hydrocodone in person only? Or can you call? ## I get a monthly prescription of Norco 10 325 ...

I filled the prescription as I have done for the last several years. Got a yellow tablet with 10 98 on one side and a V on the other. It does not work. I took 3 tablets in one hour (usual dose is one tablet) with no results. Could have been taking water. Label shows it to be from PAR P company. Is this fake or what? ## Is the marking possibly 3601 V? If so, the tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. NDC: 00603-3887 This is an opioid analgesic that carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. So no, it is not fake. However, if you have been taking the same dose for years, your body may have become used to it, so it may not work as well for you, anymore. Have you informed...

I have been taking hydrocodone-APAP 10 / 325 as a generic for NORCO 10 325 for chronic pain, but recently my pharmacy changed the generic medication from a white tablet simply marked 'M367' on one side to a yellow tablet marked with a semi cursive 'V' on one side, and the number '36/01' on the other. The yellow tablets do not seem to work as well; as if maybe they are "slow", or "time released". Is this true? Is there a difference in these medications and how they work, or are released into my system? ## Hello, Caesar! How are you? No, these are both regular release tablets. However, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics can have fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so this one may be a little lower in dosage than the other ...

My pill for hydrocodone 10/325. Is white, oblong and had 3601*v imprinted on it. Just got it from Walmart. Is this the correct pill? I am used to taking the yellow oblong. ## Yeah I got mine today and to my surprise they were white not yellow but very similar except for the white is V 3609 and the yellow is V 3601. I was dissapointed because I hate the white ones no matter what brand. I hope they don't stopped making the yellow like watson did. Now they serve u watson 853 in white! ## Many people here on MedsChat are saying the same thing about these V 3609 white pills being less effective. I think Post #1 is right about the white ones lacking efficacy all across the board from one manufacturer to the next. I've noticed a growing trend in action - Actavis's generic norco for...

I usually get the yellow V 36 01 when I fill my 10mg Norco. This time they gave me white V 36 09. ## Hi debra, The V 36 09 white pill is a new version made by Qualitest that only recently came out on the market; which is why information seems scarce at the moment. However other patients here have also confirmed this in the following discussion thread: Discuss/hydrocodone-yellowwith-v-on-one-and-3609-on-the-other-what-dose-208024.htm It reportedly contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Though I'm not sure if it's brand name Norco or generic. You could try contacting the manufacturer for more specific details if need be. I hope this helps! ## it is generic norco . made my hand swell, and I was very irritable . Horrible feeling

Why would the v be upside down on the pill if the bottle marks it v / 3601, it should match the bottle right ## Hello, Emily! How are you? There is no specific way the V has to face, it just depends on how the tablets were sitting in the pressing machine. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. is this ultracet as good as hydrocodone? ## Ultracet contains Acetaminophen and Tramadol and the Tramadol is currently classified as a narcotic, opiate. However, there is really no way to say whether one is more effective than the other, because medications work differently for different people. Some people find this to be a very effective medication and there are some people it doesn't work for, at all. The only way to really know is to try it yourself. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other comments or questions? ## Is the yellow hydrocodone more effective than the white

high blod pressure ## This is NOT hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever. Your pill is a blood pressure pill called hydrochlorthiazide 25mg., or brand name Hydrodiurel. It is used to lower one's blood pressure. Look for blood in the urine or stool, yellow eyes or skin, diarrhea. ## Actually, I think they were just hoping. THey posted the title as Hydrocodone, but then in the post itself said for high blood pressure. ## yes I saw that. Maybe its another one of those cases where the v threw them off.
