How much hydrocodone 325 mg would equal ms contin 60 mg ## Hello, Mark! How are you? Can you please double check the dosage and post back? Thanks! There is no medication that contains 325mgs of Hydrocodone, that would be the dosage for the Acetaminophen in it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I can't find anything that says what it is. The prescription is 60/200 mg of hydrocodone compound it is a capsule with no writing one part is clear the other is white! Just want to make sure it is a legit pill?? ## Where did you get it? There is no standard dosage of 60/200 available. The only way anyone would have this dosage would be if it were specially ordered by their doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. If that's the case, it would explain the plain capsules, since that's what they usually use. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

hydrocodone 10 mg I was wondering if I can get a hydrocodone p prescription pill 10 mg without the acetaminophen or any other medications in it ## There is a new Hydrocodone only extended release medication, Zohydro ER. It comes in several mgs and 10 mg is one of the,. But, it is expended release and you only take 1 every 12 hrs. It is new and very expensive. Some insurance companies won't cover it due to the cost. ## The information BL provided is correct, Zohydro is a time released formulation of Hydrocodone by itself, with no other active ingredients. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. is there a such a thing as a thirty milligram hydrocodone ## Not in any of the standard prescription formulations, the only way someone would get this is if their doctor ordered it and they had them made from a special compounding pharmacy, then it would be a capsule. The standard dose of Hydrocodone by itself only goes up to 5mgs and in tablets with Acetaminophen, it is available in up to 10mgs. Are there any other questions? ## you can get hydrocodone in 15 and 30mgs its a little blue pill ## sorry thats oxycodone 15 and 30s ## I was just PRESCRIBED THIS INFO FROM MY DR AND I HAD IT MADE AT A SEPCIALTY PHARMACY TOOK THEM 4 HOURS AND IT IS IN A CLEAR CAPSULE AND IT IS 30 MG OF STRAIGHT HYDROCODONE NOT TYLENOL OR ANY ADDITIONS:-) IT IS A BLUE POWDER AND IT WORKS GREAT FOR MY PAIN WITH N...

My grandma got dark purple capsules and her nurse say their compound capsules hydrocodone 60 mg is there a such pill as such I'm scared a little bit because there's no markings and their dark purple capsules ## Hello! How are you and your grandma? Actually that does make sense, a compounded medication would not have any markings on it. There is no standard manufactured 60mg dosage available, so it would have to be specially ordered by her doctor and then created for her at a compounding pharmacy. They usually use unmarked capsules, because they are cheaper than those with logos or imprints on them. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anyth...

I work in a surgical practice and today we were told by a pharmacy that this formulation is no longer available? We thought that a few years ago the FDA mandated that the level of Acetaminophen be reduced ## Yes, it was mandated that the amount of Acetaminophen in combination prescription medications be lowered to no more than 325mgs per dose, the FDA put this regulation in place a few years ago. But with just the 300mgs, the only one currently listed as still being available is 10/300mg. However, there is a 7.5/325mg dosage available. I had that happen a couple months ago, when my doctor prescribed it. I had to wait for the pharmacy to reach her and authorize the 325mg dosage, before I could pick up my prescription. This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries t...

does hydrocodone apap come in 12.5/500 mg ## No, before the DEA made changes the maximum dosage available only contained 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, since the changes, the maximum available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are there any markings on the tablet in questions? Can you please post back and clarify? I will gladly research more information for you.

What is stronger and how do these 2 drugs compare.....10/325 hydrocodone vs. tramadol 50 mg ## You really can't compare them, since they aren't in the same drug classes. The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin/Lortab is a potent narcotic analgesic. But the Tramadol is just a centrally acting analgesic, though it is derived from an opiate, it is nowhere near as strong and effective as the opiate narcotic class. Both can be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can learn more Vicodin details here and you can learn more Tramadol details here. Which one has been prescribed for you?

I had some teeth pulled the other day. I was in some really bad pain and finally got my dentist to prescribe some hydrocodone for me to take yesterday. I took one pill yesterday morning and experienced severe dizziness, nausea, and weakness from it. Later on in the evening I broke the pill in half but experienced the same symptoms. Is this a sign of a reaction to it or just side effects. Any help will be appreciated. ## Those can be normal side effects, since Hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that you may also experience headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Have you ever taken this medication, before? Have you taken any other opiate narcotics, before?

How are you? It depends on which muscle relaxant it is and whether or not your doctor approves. There may be some risks associated with some of them, when mixed. The FDA classifies Hydrocodone/APAP as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is this pill 5 mg or 10mg? And what does the 3604 stand for? ## Hello, Doc! How are you? The white, oblong tablet with the red specks that has the marking 3604 V on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And according to law, all manufactured prescription tablets must have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of an emergency, so any given pill can be traced by to a specific manufacturer. That's what the 3604 V is, it's just the code that Vintage/Qualitest has chosen to use on this pill to identify it as their product. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking norco 10/325 yellow oval pill for a few years but yesterday what I got was different they were white oblong pills which says hyd/apap 10/325 mg tab amnea on it and the numbers on the tablet are G 037. Are they the same? The norco always worked very well but these white tabs don't seem as strong or work as well. ## Yes, they are the same, the tablet with the G 037 on it has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Tris Pharma. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How many have you taken, so far?

Red capsule with no markings? Are they legit? ## Hello, Lizzie! How are you? It is very doubtful. Any manufactured prescription products in the U.S. are required to have unique markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy and they usually use plain capsules, since they are cheaper. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, what you have is most likely some type of over the counter product. Does anyone else know more about these?

I am dealing with an infection from a spider bite on my right jaw.My molars and gums that line up with my jaw are so painful. I am taking some expired Hydrocodone that my mom had. It is almost 2 years old. Now,after reading this, know why it has not helped me.I have a prescription for Tramadol 50 mg. It seems to work better... I also am taking Amoxiciln . 500mg. I was wondering if taking the Tramadol and Hydrocodone alterating if it will be ok? ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? If the Hydrocodone isn't helping you, why keep taking it? Why not just take the Tramadol that you've been prescribed? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I was given opana er 10 mg take one every 8-12 hours with hydrocodone 10/325 take one three times a day for breakthrough pain. Is it safe to mix these and how far apart should I take them? Dr said opana soon as I wake up n four hours later hydrocodone said can take together bc they release different but that sounds incorrect n not safe to me ## Your doctor is correct, they are often taken together to help gain better control of pain. Of course, you can never know how they will affect you, until you actually try it and it is okay to space them a few hours apart, if you prefer. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. my grandmother was prescribed 10 mg hydrocodone in a blister pack by hospice. they are dark blue capsules and have absolutely no marks on them. has anyone ever seen these out there? ## These are most likely specially made for her by a compounding pharmacy, which is why they are unmarked and in the blister packs. Many hospices or large hospitals have one on site or nearby to be able to order specialty mediations for their patients. The manufactured formulations all couple the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so it has to be specially ordered to just get the Hydrocodone by itself. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
