I have been taking hydrocodone-APAP 10 / 325 as a generic for NORCO 10 325 for chronic pain, but recently my pharmacy changed the generic medication from a white tablet simply marked 'M367' on one side to a yellow tablet marked with a semi cursive 'V' on one side, and the number '36/01' on the other. The yellow tablets do not seem to work as well; as if maybe they are "slow", or "time released". Is this true? Is there a difference in these medications and how they work, or are released into my system? ## Hello, Caesar! How are you? No, these are both regular release tablets. However, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics can have fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so this one may be a little lower in dosage than the other ...

Obviously you're either a company representative or you've never taken a decent brand of generic Norco to know the difference. I tend to think it's the former since you stated the U03 Aurolife Norcos ...

I am prescribed Norco M367 and my sister have Norco M365, which one is the stronger?? ## Hello, Atawaa! How are you? Both of these tablets are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list the one marked M 367 as containing 10 mg of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0406-0367), and the one marked M 365 as containing 5 mg of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0406-0365). Thus, M367 is the stronger dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I would also like to know that answer, which is stronger the pill marked m365 or m367? ## 367 are 10 mg per narcotic and 356 is only 5 mg per narco...

WHITE OBLONG PILL WITH 3592 ON ONE SIDE OR A WHITE OBLONG PILL WITH M367 ON ONE SIDE....WHICH ONE IS STRONGER? ## The tablet marked M367 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The one with the 3592 V marking contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus the M 367 contains more of the narcotic, but the other contains more Acetaminophen, which makes it kind of hard to say which one is stronger. Some people may do better with the higher dose of the narcotic, because the Acetaminophen doesn't have as much effect on them, but it can potentiate the effects of the narcotic, so others might do better with the lower dose of Hydrocodone and more Acetaminophen. Which one works better for you?

Is this white oval shaped pill marked with m367 a Vicodin or a Norco? I found this in my office at work and some tell me it's a Vicodin and some tell me It's a Norco. Either way I'm just trying to figure out who may have dropped it. ## Hello, Marie! How are you? Vicodin and Norco are actually the same medication, both contain Acetaminophen coupled with the opiate Hydrocodone, they are just different brands names for different doses of it. The one is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I am asking is there a certain manufacturer that makes hydrocodone 10 325 in blue anymore. I used to take vicodin an since they lowered Tylenol my medicine doesn't work as good even with extra Tylenol. The ones marked with the m367 doesn't work at all for me just wondering if there is a certain manufacturer I need to ask for or something along those areas ## There is no specific best manufacturer that I can name for you, it really varies from person to person. It's simply a matter of trial and error to find which one works best for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Does anyone have a preferred manufacturer that works for them?
