I need help! My father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer a few months back! They prescribed him hydrocodone 10/325mg! He now has begun to have some sort of mental status change because of the effects of the chemo on his body! He thinks he's suppose to be getting three hydrocodones at a time, and even with showing him the bottle and reassuring him he's not , he becomes very angry/agitated saying we are trying to kill him and that my step mom don't care and just wants money etc and that he's divorcing her! He's even called 911 saying she's abusing him etc! He's very confused and won't listen to any form of reasoning! Is their some kind of placebo pill that looks like his hydrocone that I could give him with the two he revives to make him think he...

There was only DICODID made by knoll in Germany but it was withdrawn last year. Only Hydrocodone now available is ZOHYDRO SR in the USA. It is also made in combination with high amounts of acetaminophen, usually 325, 500 or 650mg, one goes as high as 750mg! But there is legislation coming into force limiting any dosage unit of acetaminophen (paracetamol) in the USA (where 100% of the entire world's Hydrocodone is now used since the deletion of DICODID) to 300mg. Abbott have already issued their new 10/300mg pill. But I am afraid that Hydrocodone as a single drug now is only available as an SR med under that ZOHYDRO brand. If required then would have to be crushed finely to defeat the ridiculous slow release mechanism which means you can no longer get the benefit of the drug to the e...

What pharmacy carries the blue hydros 10/500 in El paso, Tx westside? ## If you're referring to the blue ones that are manufactured by Watson with the marking WATSON 540 on them, you aren't going to find them anymore. You'll need to be looking for them in white, since Watson has removed the dye. Learn more Norco details here. Additionally, they will all soon be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen, due to concerns raised by the FDA, because of the risk of liver damage associated with long-term use and the toxicity of overdose. Thus, all manufacturers are expected to change their formulations to the lower amount no later than January of 2014. Do you remember who the manufacturer was? ## Until then Mr.Verwon where can I get them here? I am already going...

Anyone think this is just as effective as Vicodin and Watson etc? Thanks :) ## Not even close. My pain seems the same. I've taken two at a time and it's had no effect at all. ## Yes, I have really suffered in pain this month on tris pharma and will never try them again. My chiropractor is making a lot of money this month LOL more than his usual amount. I told my pharmacist and he said he will not order them next month. I actually have a science degree, and I looked up the background of Watson which is now owned by Teva pharmaceuticals (originally out of Israel) they seem top-notch! And they produce Watson. Thank you for your reply :-) ## Please correct me if I'm wrong Kitty, but didn't Watson acquire Actavis and change their name to 'Actavis'? (Re: actavis.co.id/...

I seem to have a very smart Doctor. He prescribed Norco 10-325 for post surgical pain. The first bottle gave me nothing but relief. The refill, at a different pharmacy, caused unbelievable itching all over and down my throat. I called and told him he had me look up the mfgr on the bottle. It was Qua. He said my problem is the dye used in the second batch. He re prescribed to the original pharmacy and got the Norco manufactured by Watson. If you are taking an opiate that is making you itch, have your doctor re prescribe from a pharmacy that uses the pill made by a different mfgr. You are probably not allergic to opiates or Codiene after all. ## Hello, Charliemike! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem that you experienced. However, I would like to clarify that while this may be ...

I found this pill in my 18 year old nieces pocket when i went to wash clothes and i've tried looking it up and cant find it anywhere. Please help. ## This tablet was manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as having contained 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The reason you couldn't find it listed anywhere is due to the fact that is has been discontinued due to the amount of Acetaminophen that was in it. The FDA no longer allows combination prescription medications to contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, so this hasn't been manufactured for several years, now. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation....

The tablets that match this description are listed as being Rezulin 200mg, it was anti-hyperglycemic agent that has since been removed from the U.S. market. I live in northern ky and walgreens quit carrying watson brand and their new brand makes my whole body hurt. I want to find what pharmacies carry watson? ## I am also looking for the Watson 10/325. All the Walgreens & every other pharmacy around here are out. They said they use a different distributor. If they order them they still can't guarantee that they will get the Watson brand since it all comes from the same warehouse or company. I can't take the substitute brand that everyone is using, it make me so sick & my body just aches from them. I live in Phx,Az. If you know a place that carries Watson Brand please let me know. I ran 1 1/2 day short on my oxy IR and have left over hydro from dental surgery. Is how much hydro can i take until its time for my refill ## I alternate oxycodone and loracet to manage my pain and it seems to keep my tolerance down for each drug. And as far as the dose of loracet take as prescribed because to much Tylenol is very bad on your liver. I would look at it like this use your loracet as a get me by until u can fill ur oxycodone. No more 4000mgs of Tylenol in 24 hrs. ## @Dalejrfan, Although only a doctor can legally advise you on what/how much of something you should take, the general adult dosing guidelines for Norco usually recommend 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. I would just encourage you to contact your local pharmacist to verify dosing instructions first. I...

Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. My doctor changed mine as well due to the affects on the liver. I understand the hesitation. When he changed mine I wasn't thrilled either, but I'm a creature of habit & dislike change in routines. I'm uncomfortable when my generics are from another company & look different than I normally take. I promise, it's the same 10 mg of hydrocodone. Both Lortab & Norco contain the same active ingredients: acetaminop...

How long is a 10/325 tab active for inhibiting pain. VA Cutting back amounts is there anything to use with it or in place of for degenerative arthritis in neck, upper &lower spine, hips & wrists? ## It's been a while since I've ever had to take hydrocodone, but I think the answer to your first question may also depend on each individuals tolerance to the medication as well as their personal level of pain. Based on the 'usual adult dosing schedule' of 1 tab every 4-6 hours, the effects will probably begin to diminish at or around that time frame. As far as adjunctive therapy goes, I would recommend looking into various natural anti-inflammatory herbs, such as: Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, Garlic, & Cayenne, to name a few. I hope this helps!
