Pills marked with an L, followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products, manufactured by Perrigo, they are commonly sold as the store brands or generics. This is hydrocodone 7.5's .. My dr prescribed me these & that's exactly what they are. ## I'm sorry, but that is not correct. The tablets with the L544 marking are over the counter tablets which contain 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm sorry to say that your doctor prescribed you a very costly OTC (Over The Counter) Acetaminophen 650mg tablet and passed it off as Hydrocodone; Acetaminophen is EXTREMELY cheap, compared to the Loritab/Hydrocodone. If your tablet is white, oblong and has L544 on one side and nothing on the other side, it IS AN OTC DRUG. Any pill that has a L on it is an OTC drug that can be purchased at any local Walmart, Walgreens or Ingles, for that matter.... ...

substituted for vicodin is hydrocodone acetaminophen 5/500 white oblong shaped tablet imprinted with l544 and has an expiration date of 03/09/2013. Can this still be used safely? ## Hello, Zettie! How are you? White, oblong tablets with L544 on them are not Hydrocodone, nor any type of narcotic. These tablets are manufactured by Perrigo and they list them as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen in an extended release formulation. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Regarding expired medications, most tablets don't become dangerous, once they are expired, but they do tend to lose effectiveness, so you should dispose of them. L544 White Oval i geuss thank it is for pain. ## This is not Vicodin. The pill in description is Acetaminophen extended release (650 mg).
