white oblong with imprint m357 and a line on other side ## Hydrocodone 5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## Hello, Just wanted to add a minor correction to the dosage strength listed in post #1. A white oblong pill marked M357 actually contains 5mg of Hydrocodone + "500mg" of Acetaminophen, made by Mallinckrodt. For verification, this particular tablet also carries a National Drug Code of 00406-0357. Having said that, I'm a little doubtful about whether this pill is still being made, considering that 325mgs of Acetaminophen is the new maximum dose that's allowed in prescriptions. Hope this helps! ## David, Thanks. I apologize for my error ## No worries BL! I appreciate the helpful content you post throughout the site!

Online this morning, there were a ton of hydrocodone images and this is one that did appear. what do you think about that? just curious if it is really hydrocodone or naproxen ## Hello, Nicki! How are you? This is definitely a 500mg Naproxen tablet. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Learn more Naproxen details here. As to what I think of that, I think it's very common for such errors to be made, mainly by lay people that aren't familiar with medications and don't know how to check and see what a pill actually contains. Many people just assume that any large, oblong tablet must be Vicodin (Hydrocdone/Acetaminophen), because they...

If you could post back here with any of those details I may be able to find a few images online that depict how they're really supposed to look.
