I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. Be careful of Tylenol tho. New recommended dose is 3000mg per day. Now if its cough syrup, it's tussinex , is it super thick? That's 10mg hydrocodone per 5 m... ...

I GOT THIS MED FOR A CHECK INFECTION LAST YEAR. WHY CAN'T MY PHARMACIST FIND IT NOW AND HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO CHERATUSSION AC SYRUP? ## The Hydrocodone APAP shows that it also contains Acetaminophen with the narcotic, this type of syrup/suspension is usually given to treat cough, fever and pain. The only thing it would do for an infection is treat the pain and fever that it may cause, it wouldn't actually treat the infection itself. The Cheratussin AC contains Codeine and Guaifenesin, so it isn't the same, because this would be used mostly to treat cough and cold symptoms. Your pharmacist should be able to find the Hydrocodone/APAP, but do you actually have a prescription for it, or are you just asking them to find it? If you're just asking about it, they may not be giv... ...

 Chlorpheniramine + Hydrocodone + Pseudoephedrine
A cough medicine or cough and cold medicine, also known as cough syrup or linctus when in syrup form, is a medicinal drug used in those with coughing and related conditions. There is no good evidence for or against the use of over-the-counter cough medications in those with a cough.[1] While they are used by 10% of American children weekly, they are not recommended in Canada and the United States in children 6 years or younger because of lack of evidence showing effect and concerns of harm.[2...

A Benificial Sideeffect Of Hydrcodone
2 Replies RSS
I am 57 yr old Male, I have congestive heart failure with injection ratio of 15%. It appears that when I take hydrocodone I have more energy and less breathing problems. Has this been found to be a benificial side affect. When I dont take it I dont have the desire or energy to do anything. ## Hydrocodone is used in some prescription cough syrups, because it has been know to help with cough and congestion. Another way it may be helping is through the fact that it causes depression of the central nervous system, so it may be helping your heart by slowing it down, so it doesn't work as hard. Is your doctor aware that you are taking it? Such use should be monitored on a regular basis. And what medications do you take for your heart and the CHF? ## Yes my Cardiologist is aware of this pe... ...

Nor can I go through and list all the cough syrups on the market, their ingredients and dosages, there are far too many.
