The dosage of the narcotic has been raised, while the Acetaminophen has been lowered, to help protect you from the damage that long term use of higher doses of it can cause, such as liver failure. It may even be a little stronger for you and help your pain more, depending on how sensitive you are to the narcotic. You can learn more Vicodin details here. And yes, the tabl...

White oblong pill/caplet with a line through the center on one side and imprint: IP 110 on the other. Is it, in fact, 10/325??? ## i ran out of mu usuall watson big like oval bklue tens and i got this through a buddy.. is it in fact the same thing?? i dont want to take it if not ## Yes, this tablet is Hydrocodone 10mgs and Acetaminophen 325mgs. However, if you are running out early, then apparently your pain is not in control and rather than getting meds illegally from someone else, you should see your doctor to see what you can do to better treat your condition. ## I too have always taken the blue pill which is lortab 10/500..and recently I had to go to a different pharmacy and they gave me a white tablet..and it say M363 on one side the other is plain..they said it is the same as the ...

is it hard to get off this pill i am taking 4 day for my back ## The active narcotic in this, Hydrocodone, can be habit forming, even when it's not abused, but it will really depend on how long you've been taking it. If you haven't been on it for many months or years, then any possible withdrawal effects should be minimal, but can include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and drowsiness, as well as rebound pain. I have taken the dosage as prescribed by Dr. and started with no side effects. The last 3 days though I have experienced frequent vomiting and can not even keep water down until the med has worn out.Is there any relation to vicitin which is what I thought the Dr. was supposed to prescribe to th pharmacy. ## Well, the Hydrocodone in this is a narcotic, so it can cause the nausea and vomiting, as a side effect, especially if you aren't used to taking it. Have you contacted your doctor about it?

I had a tooth extraction yesterday, been taking I Norco 7.5-325 regularly since; took one pill an hour ago and the pain is still unbearable, can I take one more or even half a pill more? ## Hi Ryan, Generally with this type of drug the dosing instructions indicate that you should take 1 pill every 4-6 hours or so. I could be wrong, but I think this is mainly due to the concerns associated with Acetaminophen and liver toxicity. From my own personal experience, it should be fine to take a half a pill more, as they do make a stronger norco with 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. So it would be as if you're taking the stronger version of the drug. Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! ## Actually, if the pain is still that bad, after having had the to...

Is this pill consider Norco and dose it work as good as the Watson? ## Hi JoAnn, To answer your first question, Hydrocodone bitartrate + APAP is a generic for brand name Norco. The APAP is simply an abbreviation for Acetaminophen. In terms of how it compares to the Watson (Actavis) formula, this is something that can only be determined by you since everyone is affected different by the same medication(s). Not only that, but you didn't actually list what manufacturer makes your pill, so there is no feasible way to compare it to another manufacturer?

Can you tell me what the pill looks like? ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, most of the 5/325mg Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Bitartrate tablets are white and capsule (oblong) shaped. Some of the imprints on these pills are: IP 109, M365, 3202 WATSON, and 3604 V. There may be more though. Did you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this medication? Please post back if you do. ## Are the V3604. The same as M365? ## my daughter has von wilebrand disease, can she take this for pain? tylenol does nothing for her ## Do Watson make hydrocodone acetaminophen (norco) 5-325 only or do they have another company that make the pill to

What is the difference? ## The 10/325 has 5 more mgs. of hydrocodone than the 5/325. Go Figure!!!!! ## That is correct, one tablet has 5mgs of Hydrocodone and the other has 10mgs of it and the APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen. These are the active ingredients in Vicodin, a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

i've been taking this for 2 years. i only take 1/2 and most days i only take 3 halves. i can go 8-12 hours when i sleep without any withdrawal. my pain doc isn't concerned about me being addicted. said my dose is too low. ## What has your doctor suggested? Does he want you to start taking more? There may be an issue with your taking less than what you're supposed to, that does leave some medication unaccounted for and your doctor has to worry about that, due to government regulations. They are supposed to make sure that you are taking all of it, as prescribed, no more and no less. I know that sounds kind of crazy, but it is something they need to monitor. ## about a year ago he asked me if i needed more. i told him i didn't. there's no way he can monitor how much i t...

Is Hydrocodone Apap 10/325 good for pain? ## That would be the narcotic Hydrocodone, and 10mgs is the most you can get these in, and Acetaminophen 325mgs, A narcotic analgesic. The APAP is just doc and pharmacy speak for Acetaminophen, sometimes these are prescribed to have the Aceta help with pain and inflammation, otherwise, it pretty much just helps them keep the drug on a prescription controlled substance schedule III or IV. There are considered generics for meds such as Anexsia, Hydrocet, Lortab and many others. Hydo and Apap Info Click Here

Why can my DR. not prescribe the HYdrocodone apap 10/660 .reason being i was on it for about 7 years with no side affects and could stop taking it anytime with no problems. The narco 10/325 i have to take twice as many to git the same results, and have constipation problems. ## In Jan 2014, the FDA required manufactuers to limit the amount of tylenol in prescription meds to no more than 325 mgs. They no longer make a med rx with 660 mg tylenol. ## @Rocky, BL is right about the new law limiting the amount of acetaminophen to 325mgs. However to my knowledge there are safer alternatives to acetaminophen (such as Curcumin/Turmeric root) with studies showing that it's as effective as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs but without side effects when taken as directed. So if that...

My husband takes the Hydrocodone/Apap 5-500MG Tablet by Mallinckrodt. When we went to a different drug store, they gave us Hydrocodone/Apap 10-325. The drug store says it's the same as Hydrocodone/Apap 5-500MG. This can't be true? ## Well, no, obviously not, this is clearly a different dosage of the medication. The first tablet he was receiving contained 5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The new one contains 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and only 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is completely different and not equivalent at all. The higher dose of the narcotic could cause more severe side effects, such as: drowsiness, nausea, dizziness and constipation. In addition, it could cause him to build a tolerance or addiction faster, and when he does get the other p...

I have been taking hydrocodone-APAP 10 / 325 as a generic for NORCO 10 325 for chronic pain, but recently my pharmacy changed the generic medication from a white tablet simply marked 'M367' on one side to a yellow tablet marked with a semi cursive 'V' on one side, and the number '36/01' on the other. The yellow tablets do not seem to work as well; as if maybe they are "slow", or "time released". Is this true? Is there a difference in these medications and how they work, or are released into my system? ## Hello, Caesar! How are you? No, these are both regular release tablets. However, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics can have fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so this one may be a little lower in dosage than the other ...

did they quite making hydrocod/apap10-500mg tab because they are not the same that they give me now they are call Norco 10-325mg tab and the ones I was taken was lortab what the differ in them please help me to no all about this the 10-500 help my back so much and now the don't help as much why. ## Hello, Jeannie! How are you? Yes, as of the first of the year, they are only available with a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, just like the new one you are taking. The Acetaminophen tends to augment the action of the narcotic, that's why the new one doesn't seem to work as well for you. However, your body should adjust after a week or two. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

Plain orange oblong tablet. No marking ## Hello, Pecos! How are you? If there is are no markings on the tablet then they are not Hydrocodone, which the FDA classifies as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. All prescription drug products in the U.S. are required by law to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Something that has no markings is most likely an over the counter product, of some type. Where was it found? ## Oblong Orange Scored Pill with no writing is Hydrocodone 10mg/APAP 325mg. They came out in 2016 as a way for Vertisec to produce generic drugs.

Hydrocodone apap 10/325 is what I take for Headaches on a daily basis.... can not get a refill until tomorrow morning... I did find a jar of some pain reliever called APAP/Codeine 300-30 mg. would there be an interaction if taken today. Last pill I took of Hydro was at 10:30 this morning..12/28/13. Can any one help me with this... I'm a bit nervous in taking another pain pill ## Hello, Mari! How are you? What did you end up doing? The main concern would really be the fact that the Codeine is so much weaker, it likely wouldn't handle your pain very well and with the added Acetaminophen, taking additional pills wouldn't be safe. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth...

i had orthoscopy on my left knee dec. 11. the doc prescribed norco for pain. however, my insurance says if there's a generic for any drug then that's what'll be substituded. they changed prescription to hydrocodone-pap 5-325 tablitp. the doctor told me to take the med. every 4 to 6 hrs. in order to control the pain better.the problem is i take the med. every 4 hours & it's not doing the job i understood i'd experience. my knee & leg hurts so much on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst. it's a 9. i'm wondering if i'd be able better relife by taking (2) 500 mg. i've been up 2hrs & 20 min. thank u ## They gave you the same medication, Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone is exactly what Norco contains, this is just the generic version rather than...

I have been taking norco 10/325 yellow oval pill for a few years but yesterday what I got was different they were white oblong pills which says hyd/apap 10/325 mg tab amnea on it and the numbers on the tablet are G 037. Are they the same? The norco always worked very well but these white tabs don't seem as strong or work as well. ## Yes, they are the same, the tablet with the G 037 on it has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Tris Pharma. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How many have you taken, so far?

I fell and damaged 6 disc in my spine. I had surgery on 2 disc and was given hydrocodone apap which was yellow with a V on one side and 3601 on the other side. I was later given the same prescription, but the pill was white and had IP 110 on it. The yellow stopped the pain with no side effects. The white makes me feel drugged and nauseous. What is the difference? I have also be give a 7.5 of the same medication. It is white with U02 on it. It makes me feel the same way as the white 10/325 does. Who are the manufacturers? Please help!!! ## Hello, Marie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had. The tablet with the 3601 V marking is manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals, the tablet with the IP 110 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, both of these ...
