Hydrocodone And Ibuprofen 800

Having real bad ear infection pain, I took two 5/325 norco and ibuprofen 800 for inflammation. Should i not have taken them at the same time? ## Hello, Purdy! How are you? I can't sleep. I'm supposed to take my blood pressure medicine at 11/12 tonight but I haven't.

If taking it helps, you need to tell your dr. ## Hi Willy, Sorry to hear about the extent of your pain. From what I've found they actually do make a combination of Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen under the following brand names: Vicoprofen, Reprexain, and Ibudone. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about trying one of these as an alternative to the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you have any concerns about it's potential cumulative effects on liver health with long term use? Overcoming the pain is what matters, but I just try to encourage the safest methods possible if it can be helped. None the less, I hope...

got from dentist prescription today AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY ARE SAFE TO TAKE TOGETHER.I GOT 8 TEETH EXTRACTED TODAY. ## The 5/500 one contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen and generally, the Acetaminophen shouldn't be mixed with the Ibuprofen, unless he specifically instructed you to use both. Since Acetaminophen is also in the tablet with the Hydrocodone to potentiate it, you shouldn't add the Ibuprofen, unless your doctor says that it's safe for you to do so. Can I take all three at da same time. The ibuprofen is 800 mg.the hydrocodone is 7.5.the pencilling is 600 Mg. ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone, and Penicillin; deeming them as safe to take together. I have a exposed tooth nerve. I was prescribed both medication. Or is i8 the imprint on a pill you have? ## The pill is oval in shape, white no score mark, and has the imprint of I8 on it. I was told it is hydrocodone. When i searched it out it siad it looks out on the medical it said it remsembles a M360 Hydro ## Would you happen to know what country this medication was obtained from? If it is from the United States, then the predominant possibility is that it is actually an Ibuprofen 800 mg. Another similar marking is IB (instead of an 8), and that's a 200 mg Ibuprofen. white oblong shape pain medicine it is a pill ## The imprint on this is actually 8I, it is made by Dr. Reddy's Labs and DOES NOT contain Hydrocodone or any type of narcotic. I just had eye surgery and was given Norco (4x a day) and Motrin (3x a day) to take for pain, can I take them at the same time or do I need to space them out? ## Hi Chris, Hope you're recovering well from the surgery. From what I could gather, there are no drug interactions listed between Norco (acetaminophen + hydrocodone) and Motrin (ibuprofen). So I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to take them both together if that's what you need to do in order to achieve adequate pain relief. Also as long as it's the same doctor who prescribed both, I think that he/she would've informed you up front of any possible risks involved with doing so if there really were serious consequences to be had.
