I had extremely high blood pressure so my doctor put me on an extra blood pressure pill. I'm already taking losartan potassium and Metoprolol. this new one I can't remember the name, but it's something like Triamterene and Hydrochlorothiazide in combination. I've been on it for 2 weeks, feeling very light headed recently, feeling terrible, I have no energy and extreme anxiety. I've been taking two Hydrocodone tens for hip pain for some months now and my blood pressure today was down from 150 / 110 to 90 / 60. I'm freezing and shaky and have high anxiety. I have read that Norco and similar meds can raise blood pressure. I was wondering if it is the hydrocodone or the acetaminophen that causes your blood pressure to go up or if it could be the actual pain you are treating? ## In actuality, it could be any, or all. It really depends on the person, according to FDA reports, it would most commonly become elevated due to the pain. Most opiate medication, such as Norco are known to lower it, more often than they will cause it to become elevated. Is the person in question taking any other medications? Do they have any other diagnosed medical conditions? How high were the blood pressure readings?

I took blood pressure medication and vitamins at 6:30 and now it's 9:20 pm. When can I take my Norco for my pain? ## What blood pressure medication are you taking? It is used to lower one's blood pressure. Look for blood in the urine or stool, yellow eyes or skin, diarrhea. ## Actually, I think they were just hoping. I've been taking 5/325mg. of hydrocodone just as needed due to severe arthritis . Take only 1 tablet per/day at the most. Skip those days when my pain is manageable up to 3 days without. Been having what seems to resemble side effects, such as headaches, body aches, high blood pressure, extreme agitation, and cold sweats w/chills. I'm worried whether or not I should just take the 1 p/day just to play it safe? Hello: I'm 62 yr. old man, taking Hydrochlorothiazide & Metoprolol for high blood pressure. Have moderate to severe osteoarthritis and recently had an auto accident with a bad case of whiplash.
