I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, so that should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. Losartan may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

Having real bad ear infection pain, I took two 5/325 norco and ibuprofen 800 for inflammation. Should i not have taken them at the same time? ## Hello, Purdy! How are you? They can be taken together, as long as your doctor has instructed you to take them both. But, as reported by the FDA, you may experience more side effects than usual, such as more intense nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I took half of a Lortab 10; the white one with m367 on one side and a line on the other, but before that I took 4 ibuprofen 200 mg which 4 made it 800 mg. I can't sleep. I'm supposed to take my blood pressure medicine at 11/12 tonight but I haven't.

My blood pressure is 190/100 and I forgot to take my metoprolol this morning. I took it after checking my blood pressure along with my baby aspirin. I have pain meds (hydrocodone 5/325) - Is it safe to take the pain meds? It's been about 30/45 minutes since I took blood pressure meds. ## In general, it should be, unless your doctor or pharmacist has told you not to do so. Overall, however, being in pain can cause further elevations of your blood pressure, so they usually want you to take your pain med. But your doctor is the authority on that. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. As to the Metoprolol... I took cipro at 7 am and hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 at 7 pm. I read that there's a major drug interaction. ## According to the FDA, taking the Cipro with the Hydrocodone could increase the effects of the Hydrocodone, which may cause more severe side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness. It could also result in depression of the central nervous system, which could result in shallow breathing, lowered heart rate, and lowered blood pressure. How are you doing? Did you experience any adverse effects?

I've been taking 5/325mg. of hydrocodone just as needed due to severe arthritis . Take only 1 tablet per/day at the most. Skip those days when my pain is manageable up to 3 days without. Been having what seems to resemble side effects, such as headaches, body aches, high blood pressure, extreme agitation, and cold sweats w/chills. I'm worried whether or not I should just take the 1 p/day just to play it safe? I don't crave the hydrocodone or miss it when I don't take it, I just don't want these questionable side affects of possible withdrawal symptoms..Thank You for any advise! ## If you aren't taking it frequently, then it is not normal to be experiencing withdrawal effects, that usually only occurs from long-term regular use, according to FDA reports. Have you ...

I am scheduled for a stress test and needed something to help me cope with knee pain while running. I was prescribed the above named medicine, will this affect my results? ## It shouldn't but be sure and tell your dr and the tech doing the test that you've taken it. Pain can increase your heart rate and raise your blood pressure, so they need to know about any pain, even if you take a pain med. ## A narcotic could also artificially lower your heart rate and blood pressure during the test, so the results may not be accurate. Yes, you need to make sure they know about it. What is a round yellow tablet scored on one side with only "COR 142" on it? The bottle says hydrodo/apap5-500mg tab mallinckro; a generic for vicodin 5-500mg tab. ## I cannot post a picture due to copyright reasons, I can, however, tell you that these are most definitely NOT in the correct bottle! These do NOT contain Hydrocodone, nor any type of narcotic. COR 142 tablets contain 5mgs of Glyburide and 500mgs of Metformin, this is a generic for Glucovance, a combination antidiabetic drug used to help lower and control blood pressure. Hydro/apap does not help much for chronic pain. Would it be okay to take Tramadol and Hydro-- together? ## Hello, Weezy! How are you? Since both Tramadol and Hydrocodone are opiates, it would be best not to mix them, unless your doctor approves. They can cause depression of the central nervous system, so taking both could cause issues, such as problems breathing, lowered heart rate and lowered blood pressure. The FDA lists these medications as being narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you talked to your doctor to let them know that it isn't relieving your pain?

My pain Dr. just switched hydrocodone for MS Contin.. any information on this combination will be appreciated. Thanks ## Hello, Heather! How are you doing? It would be best to double check with your doctor, before combining these medications. They both cause depression of the central nervous system, which may be problematic for some people.
