I'm recovering from my third back surgery. I can take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 mg tab with no stomach problems. However, when I take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325mg tab Mallinc generic, I have severe stomach pains. The pharmacist says there is no difference except the 10 vs the 7.5. It is NOT in my mind, it's in my stomach & it really hurts. Can you clear this up for me? I will be very grateful for your attention. Thank you. ## Who manufactures the 10/325 tablet that you've taken? There can be differences in the inactive ingredients from one manufacturer to another and that can cause problems for some people that are sensitive. So, say for example that the 10/325 was manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals, the inactive ingredients could be completely differen...

Am on 10-325 mg I go to pain management I can't find my bottle of meds am in pain. 8 days before appt will they see I haven't had my meds ## Hi Vicky, Sorry to hear about your situation. Personally, I think you should be upfront with your doctor about what happened, having misplaced the bottle. The main reason I say this is because I think they do have the ability to tell what levels of medication should be in your system vs how much isn't there. Given the circumstances and type of narcotic, it's easy for them draw false conclusions that you're selling them, but I feel that sincere honesty goes a long way when you are earnest and straight forward with your words. I have my fingers crossed for you and pray that everything works out to your benefit! Be well! ## They ca...

Saw a new ortho surgeon. Was taking Hydrocodone/Acetamenaphine 10-325. For lower back pain. He said "oh no, Don't take that!" and presribed Tramadol 50 mg. Why? ## Because it can be highly addictive. Also it is going to go from a Schedule III to a Schedule II, Oct 6, 2014. That means no refills, it can't be called in and you must see your dr at least every 90 days. Even though Tramadol can also be addicting, the risk isn't as great. Tramadol became a Schedule IV Aug 18, 2014. ## Hello, Pete! How are you? Your doctor may also be concerned about the Acetaminophen, taking it for a long time creates the risk of liver damage or failure. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation...

i have a prescription from my pain management doctor for norco 10-325 but it has been on back order each time ive tried to have it filled at not only my pharmacy Rite Aide but other major pharmacy's have also been unable to fill my prescription is their any reason for this or is there any suggestion's ## Two things are possible. One, when it was reclassified as a Schedule II the bottles the pharmacy's had were sent back to the manufacturer. It is possible they are running short or don't have any. Second, this time of year it is not unusual for Schedule II meds to become very hard to find or not be able to find them at all. The reason is because the manufacturers are only given a certain amount of active ingredients for 1 year. When that runs out, they have to wait until ...

I am trying to find out how many Tylenol codein 300-30 I would need to take to be equilivant to Norco 10-325 ? I have had a different prescription and I want to make sure I am not over doing the codein ## Hello, Ruth! How are you? Each 30mgs of Codeine is equivalent to 4.5mgs of the Hydrocodone, so taking one Norco 10/325 is actually over twice as strong. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What's the difference between Norco 10 325 mg & 7.5-325 mg ## Hello, Howard! How are you? Well, the dosage is different, just like you've listed. One contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the other contains only 7.5mgs of it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been taking hydromorphone 4 Mg. Tablets and I was just switched to narco 10/325 witch one is better for stoping the pain? ## Can u switch over to 7.5-325 even tho u been taking 10-325 on same day ## Have they stopped making the 325 mg-7.5 mg, oval, orange, imprinted with 3605, V?they gave me the white ones ...

Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. My doctor changed mine as well due to the affects on the liver. I understand the hesitation. When he changed mine I wasn't thrilled either, but I'm a creature of habit & dislike change in routines. I'm uncomfortable when my generics are from another company & look different than I normally take. I promise, it's the same 10 mg of hydrocodone. Both Lortab & Norco contain the same active ingredients: acetaminop...

Male 210lbs - takes whatever whenever, but is taking over a dozen hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pills in 24 hours. Is that bad? What's bound to happen?...What if he takes oxycodone 15mg also? ## Hello, From what I am seeing, daily consumption of hydrocodone should not exceed 40 milligrams in patients not tolerant to opiates. The PDR from 2006 states that Norco 10, containing 10 milligrams of hydrocodone and 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen) can be taken at a dosage of up to twelve tablets per day (120 mg of hydrocodone). This restriction is only limited by the fact that twelve tablets, each containing 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen), puts the patient right below the 24-hour FDA maximum of 4,000 mg of APAP. Some specially compounded products are routinely given to chronic pain patients in ...

I am very allergic to Sulfa & Sulfate drugs does this have any type of Sulfa or Sulfates in it? The Sufa/Sulfate drugs cause me to get a bladder and kidney infection to the point I have to be hospitalized. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? What specific sulfa drug did you have an allergic reaction? This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it is a generic for Norco. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Your wrong the red specs r the 5/325 mg norcos ## V 3601 is a yellow 10/325 Norco ## Yes I have the red spec ones in a pill bottle, they are Norco 5/325. :)

Can you tell me what the pill looks like? ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, most of the 5/325mg Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Bitartrate tablets are white and capsule (oblong) shaped. Some of the imprints on these pills are: IP 109, M365, 3202 WATSON, and 3604 V. There may be more though. Did you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this medication? Please post back if you do. ## Are the V3604. The same as M365? ## my daughter has von wilebrand disease, can she take this for pain? tylenol does nothing for her ## Do Watson make hydrocodone acetaminophen (norco) 5-325 only or do they have another company that make the pill to

Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs. They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The more Acetaminophen, the harder it will be on your liver and other organs. Please post back if you have any questions! ## sorry but you can no longer get 660 in the usa

How much of the red liquid hyrdrocodone 325\5 mg would equal to three 1,000s norcos? ## Each teaspoons equals hydrocodone 5 mg /acetaminaphen 325 mg. ## Hello, Ashley! How are you? What BL has stated is correct, unless the label specifies otherwise. As to the Norco you mentioned, there is no Norco available that contains 1,000mgs of anything. The maximum dosage currently available on the market contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Norco was actually the name brand for a lower dose of this analgesic combination, so if you were taking it, then you were most likely taking 5/325mgs. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth an...

Are there any pain meds made with a 500mg of acetaminophen & 10mg of hydrocodone or oxycodone ect ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? Lortab, Lorcet, Norco and Vicodin were all brand names for medication combinations that contained Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. There are none that contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, now. The ones with the higher amounts were all removed from the market. That includes the Oxycodone combinations, as well as all other combination prescription drugs that contain Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If one IP 110 10mg/325mg doesn't work, will 2 work? ## This contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. The Hydrocodone could cause central nervous system depression, since it is a narcotic, so it is not advisable to double up, without your doctor instructing you to do so. In addition, too much Acetaminophen in a day can be toxic, so you have to be careful of it, as well. Have you consulted your doctor, yet? ## You can take two, I was taking 3 norco's my doctor said our bodies get used to the medicine after a while and need to try a different kind. Ask your dr. How much hydrocodone is in a does of 5 ml hydrocodone bitarate cough syrup? Is it the same as taking a 7.5 norco tablet? ## Hello, Granny! How are you? It can vary, depending on the prescription. What dosage is listed on the label? Usually, it will have something such as 7.5/5ml or something similar that lets you know how much is in each teaspoon. Can you please post back with this information, so I can help you? Thanks! The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Oh my, I didn't realize it was that strong! i take norco 10/325 and wonder is there a stronger hydrocodone pill such as 15/325 ## No, the maximum amount currently available on the market is 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. Usually, when someone isn't getting the pain relief they need from it, they move on to something else, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. It is still a narcotic and can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Try not to go up to percet. If I take 10/325 Norco, how many milligrams is it? 10? 100? 1000? ## To answer your question, 10/325 Norco contains 10 mg Hydrocodone (as well as 325 mg Acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol). I hope this helps and please write back if you have any other questions about this medication.

How many Norco 10/325 mg would give you 1100 ng/mL? ## From what I could gather, clinical trials note that: "Following a 10 mg oral dose of hydrocodone administered to five adult male subjects, the mean peak concentration was 23.6 ± 5.2 ng/mL. Maximum serum levels were achieved at 1.3 ± 0.3 hours and the half-life was determined to be 3.8 ± 0.3 hours." Unless I'm reading this wrong (which I may be, as I am trying to understand this conversion as well), 1100 ng/mL seems like a very high dose for toxicity. Do you have this medication in both tablet and liquid form? You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! If anyone else can enlighten us with a bit more information that would be great! ## ...
