i do not get relief from this pain medicine, what is the deal ## Hi baby, Unfortunately when it comes to choosing an appropriate pain medication, there's a lot of room for trial and error. If your body is accustomed to another manufacturer's versions of this, then its ineffectiveness may be attributed to the different binders/fillers that are being used in this particular tablet versus others. That's my theory anyways, given that nothing else is changed on the label when you switch between different manufacturer's brands/generics. The only thing I'd encourage patients to do in light of this, is to kindly ask the doctor to be more descriptive on the prescription he/she writes, in order to pick out a specific manufacturer that you feel works best from past personal exp...

If so, this tablet was manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a dosage that is no longer available, since the maximum dose of Acetaminophen in them now has been lowered to no more than 325mgs. I am taking the above medication and am having a severe pain in the back of my head. Like a shock. Any ideas if this is something serious? Im also taking amoxicillian with it. I got these from the va this month instead of the ones I hated..( the ones marked M367)...they look the same as the yellow hydro by qualitest...except they're white & the numbers are different... I AM VERY ALLERGIC TO NORCO AND THE BOTTLE READS MFG WATSON AND THE PILL IS WHITE OVAL WITH SCORE ACROSS CENTER ON ONE SIDE AND WATSON 3203 ON THE OTHER. IS THIS THE TRUE LORTAB? From what I hear, the combination of Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen seems to be a common choice for many post operative dental procedures. I believe 10mg is also highest you can get for this particular medication, so I'm guessing the pain is probably pretty severe without this high of a dose. My daughter has been taking hydrocodone 5/325 every 4 hrs since Thurs afternoon. 24 hrs ago, her dr moved it to every 6 hrs, and she took her last one at 615pm last night (it's now 1250a).
