Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I've been approximately 10 years on hydrocodone acetaminophen 10-500. It now has been changed to Hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10-325 without any consultation. What would be the reason for the change and will it attack the pain the same? Thank you. The FDA has even taken action to withdraw the approval for prescription meds that have more than 325 mg tylenol. The decrease in tylenol may or may not make any difference to you. My pharmicist said they were no longer made. ## The FDA has asked dr to no longer prescribe it with 500 mg acetaminophen but instead to use the mandated reduced 325 mg acetaminophen. The FDA has also asked pharmacists to contact the drs if a rx is written for the 500 mg before filling it. The hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Lortab, Vicodin, Norco) are still made. I've found that i have to take twice as much of this medicie to get the same effect as the m357 hydrocodone, it's not the same ## The pill in description marked 3592 is Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone (5 mg). As for the other pill in description, marked M357, it has the same dosage that is Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). It could be the bitartrate making the difference. I used this treatment for more than three years. For almost a year the color of this treatment was pink but it was very expensive. I have been changed to the same treatment, but cheaper medicine, the color is light blue. I went to another pharmacy and they told me the treatment colors vary (white). The first one made me drowsy but I went to a different pharmacy for the other and it didn't have the same effect on me why is that? ## The information you've posted denotes them as both being the same, especially if the manufacturer was the same for both.
