hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 500 325 brands
Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. My doctor changed mine as well due to the affects on the liver. I understand the hesitation. When he changed mine I wasn't thrilled either, but I'm a creature of habit & dislike change in routines. I'm uncomfortable when my generics are from another company & look different than I normally take. I promise, it's the same 10 mg of hydrocodone. Both Lortab & Norco contain the same active ingredients: acetaminop... ...

Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 5 500 TB should i take it
I have ankylosing spondylitis. Got cortisone shots in my lumbar region and hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 tb and Tramadol ER 200mg from my rhuematologist . What is the Tramadol for? & Im starting a new job tomorrow not sure if i should.take either until i know how they may effect me. Should i wait till this weekend to start? ## The Tramadol is also an analgesic. Learn more Tramadol details here. And yes, I'd be very reluctant to start them at the same time as starting a new job, just to be on the safe side. I supposed you could try during your off hours, such as at night to see how they affect you, but you should be cautious, especially if you are sensitive to medications. I am and Tramadol caused me to vomit every time I took it, an effect which never wore off, so I had to sto... ...

which is stronger hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 or 10-325.
I have 2 different prescriptions for after knee surgery. Which is stronger for pain? ## Hi, Louise! How are you feeling? Since the Acetaminophen augments the action of the Hydrocodone in these, they are both likely to be about the same, actually. Learn more Vicodin details here. One may work a bit better for you than the other, but there's no way to know that, unless you try them. How did you end up with 2 different prescriptions? ...

I just started taking acetaminophen + hydrocodone 7.5/500 and still have pain (tooth). Can I take Ibuprofen at the same time. ## yes you can, little secert you can hold a mouthful of listerine or alcohol on tooth an as long as its there it will relieve pain not unless its abcessed, don t swallow either as alcohol an apap don t mix ## Does hydrocodone-acetaminophen curve your appetitve? Does it cause itching in the following areas? sole of the feet and palms of the hands? ## I have the same issues of itching but notice it only when I take Baclofin (muscle relaxer) with it. But I have no hives or marks from itching. Just an all over itch for no reason. Is tis like a small allergic reaction of the two medicines combined? And is that normal. Which Is Stronger Hydrocodone 7.5 500 Or Oxycodone Acetaminophen 5-325
which is stronger hydrocodone 7.5/500mg oxycodone-acetaminophen 5-325 ## About the same as oxycodone is about 1.5 times stronger than hydrocodone. ## Regarding the analgesic effect, using a dose conversion, they are actually equivalent. Thus, it would really be a matter of finding out which one is more effective for you, since not every medication works for everyone that tries it. Since these are both narcotics, there is a chance that they could be habit forming and you may experience side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Which has been recommended for you? You can learn more Lortab details here. You can learn more Percocet details here. ...

hydrocodone 5500
are Lortabs still in use? My pharmicist said they were no longer made. ## The FDA has asked dr to no longer prescribe it with 500 mg acetaminophen but instead to use the mandated reduced 325 mg acetaminophen. The FDA has also asked pharmacists to contact the drs if a rx is written for the 500 mg before filling it. The hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Lortab, Vicodin, Norco) are still made. But, the amount of acetaminophen has been reduced. ## So can you take a Tylenol to get the same results since they lowered it to 325? I'm so used to the 500 and it just isn't the same ## Talk to your dr first. The new recommendation from the FDA is not to exceed 3,000 mg of tylenol in a 24 hr period. ## It isn't that the FDA has asked them to no longer prescribe the higher amounts, they'... ...

Vicodin vs. Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen SOL APAP
My wife is taking Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen SOL APAP at 2 tsps every 4 hours. Is Vicodin 5/500 the equivalent to this and can she take the Vicodin instead? She just had the Gastric Bypass almost a week ago. ## Vicodin does contain the same active ingredients (Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen), so it all depends on what dosage she is currently taking. Another thing to consider is that there may be a reason why she was prescribed this medication in a syrup form instead of a tablet, especially that she had surgery related to the digistive system. Ultimately it would be advisable to check with her doctor before making any switches like that, especially with such a potent medication. Wishing her a speedy recovery! Please reply with any other details or questions which you can think of... ## My ... ...

Ip 190 500 is not Hydrocodone
Hydros say IP 109 and naproxen says IP 190 ## Hi amanda, Thanks for clearing up any confusion between the two pills! From what I could gather, another differentiating factor is that Naproxen's tablet also has "500" imprinted on the other side of IP 190; whereas with Hydrocodone/Apap, IP 109 is the only imprint. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone You can learn more about this drug on the page for Naproxen Details Has anyone else actually misinterpreted the two different tablets? ## Is ip190 and tramadol hcl 50mg the same thing ...

Hydrocodone APAP 5/500
Has a V symbol on one side of the pill and the number 3592. Is this the right number for the generic because In the same prescrption there are also some that have M357 and both can be scored in the middle.Just was wondering if it is the same pill. ## What kind of pill is it what does it do ## Yes, both of the tablets mentioned contain 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, which is a narcotic analgesic. This medication does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can learn more Vicodin details here. Ive seen naproxen and have been told vicodin has this imprint as well .. are naproxen and vicodib the same? ## Naproxen and Vicodin are two very different pain medications. To my understanding, the similarities found in the imprint are just a sign that they had been manufactured or redistributed by the same company. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug You can learn more about this drug on the page for Naproxen Details Vicodin (Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone) on the other hand, is a combination of two types of pain medicine; Hydrocodone being an opiate narcotic pain reliever and Acetaminophen also being a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. can these medicines be combine with my daily meds. Tramadol 50mg tablet, and hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 tablet.
Hi; I am taking highblood pressure medicine, Lisnopril-htcz 20/25mg tab and amlodipine Besylate 5mg table. I am taking a blood-thinner called Clopidogrel bisulfate (Plavix oral) 75mg, I also have a vitamin d deficiency so I am taking vit d 50,000 iu d2 (ergo) caps (RX). Can these medicine be taken with Tramadol, and Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 mg tablet. I am also a predibetic. ## Hi Victoria, It looks like you posted your question twice within the same paragraph. hydrocodone 3592
I've found that i have to take twice as much of this medicie to get the same effect as the m357 hydrocodone, it's not the same ## The pill in description marked 3592 is Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone (5 mg). As for the other pill in description, marked M357, it has the same dosage that is Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). It could be the bitartrate making the difference. I am not an MD so I cannot clarify that is the case. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... It's a narcotic pain reliever generic for Vicodin. ## Thank you Roy. I would just like to add that since this is a naroctic, it is highly addictive. ## I have a perscription for hydrocodone-apap 5-500 tab. my older bottle says to take 1 pill every 6 hours as needed. and this bottle says take 1 pill every 12 hours as needed.. im confused because its the same exact medication. i went to a different pharmacy, could that be why?? ## Andrea - could the ones you have now be extended release or something? hydrocodone different or same???
Is (1) hydrocodone-acetaminophen soln 7.5-500 the same as (2) hydroco/apap 7.5-500 sol (says qualitest on bottle)? The first one made me drowsy but I went to a different pharmacy for the other and it didn't have the same effect on me why is that? ## The information you've posted denotes them as both being the same, especially if the manufacturer was the same for both. I'm not sure why one would make you drowsy and one wouldn't, perhaps in between your body just got a bit more used to the narcotic ingredient, Hydrocodone. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. Side effects, such as the drowsiness, normally only last for a few weeks as your body is getting used to a medication, then they tend to taper off in severity, until they disappear entirely. Hydrocodone 10500 Appearance
Large, oblong, line in center, blue, says Watson 340 on it ## I think the marking on this tablet was actually WATSON 540, especially with it being blue and yes, it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here. This is a narcotic pain reliever, so it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. And there are a couple of important pieces of information that I need to add in regards to these tablets… The first is that they are now changing the color of these, due to the fact that there were people who were allergic to or sensitive to the dye in them. Thus, they are now being replaced by tablets that have the same marking and same ingredients, but which are white. The s... ...
