Amneal manufactured, Hydrcodone- Apap 5-325 doesn't work as well as V 3604 or Watson 349. Any idea why? ## Hi Jane, I think I can help answer your question here. One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications.
