Side effects of getting off of hydro codons ## I haven't taken Hydro's for 5 days. The only side effect I'm having is a lot of fatigue. I don't want to do anything because I get so tired and a little restlessness at night. Before I go to bed, I drink a cup of Sleepy Time tea, take one Passion Flower pill 250MG & before I know it, I want to go to bed. I had a tooth extraction yesterday, been taking I Norco 7.5-325 regularly since; took one pill an hour ago and the pain is still unbearable, can I take one more or even half a pill more? ## Hi Ryan, Generally with this type of drug the dosing instructions indicate that you should take 1 pill every 4-6 hours or so. I could be wrong, but I think this is mainly due to the concerns associated with Acetaminophen and liver toxicity. From my own personal experience, it should be fine to take a half a pill more, as they do make a stronger norco with 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. I fell and damaged 6 disc in my spine. I had surgery on 2 disc and was given hydrocodone apap which was yellow with a V on one side and 3601 on the other side. I was later given the same prescription, but the pill was white and had IP 110 on it. The yellow stopped the pain with no side effects. The white makes me feel drugged and nauseous. I've been taking hydrocodone since December of 2012. After my unsuccessful shoulder surgery and then finding out that I have severe arthritis in both hips. My insurance paid for the first 12 prescriptions, since then I've paid for them out of my own pocket, which was only around $14 a month. I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!!
