BLUE OBLONG WITH MUTLI-COLORED SPECKS ## What is it that you need to know? If you want to confirm what this pill is, you need to say what the markings on the pill are, we can't tell just by the colors and shape, there are many pills that look like that. ## It is blue oblong with multi-colored specks with GPI 25 on one side and nothing on the other side, anyone know what this is ? ## I cannot find a positive ID for this, but I can tell you that it is definitely NOT Hydrocodone. GPI is the logo for Gemini Pharmaceuticals and they manufacture only over the counter products such as vitamins and herbal supplements. Here is their website: They manufacture tons of the drugs that you see available as store brands, like a Wal-Mart brand of Tylenol or Eckerd brand of vitamins and etc.

I've been taking hydrocodone since December of 2012. After my unsuccessful shoulder surgery and then finding out that I have severe arthritis in both hips. My insurance paid for the first 12 prescriptions, since then I've paid for them out of my own pocket, which was only around $14 a month. Yesterday I went to Walgreens to get a refill and the clerk said they would be 62.85! I thought there must be some mistake. So I headed to Walmart, they had gone up to 68.01! Then I headed to a small town pharmacy and they charged me $25. I was relieved, but, very confused! Does anyone know why there has been such a steep price increase on hydrocodone? I can't find anything about on the net! ## Hello! Very sorry for the sudden price change. However no, I am not aware of any particular re...

high blod pressure ## This is NOT hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever. Your pill is a blood pressure pill called hydrochlorthiazide 25mg., or brand name Hydrodiurel. It is used to lower one's blood pressure. Look for blood in the urine or stool, yellow eyes or skin, diarrhea. ## Actually, I think they were just hoping. THey posted the title as Hydrocodone, but then in the post itself said for high blood pressure. ## yes I saw that. Maybe its another one of those cases where the v threw them off.

Amneal manufactured, Hydrcodone- Apap 5-325 doesn't work as well as V 3604 or Watson 349. Any idea why? ## Hi Jane, I think I can help answer your question here. One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. Aside from that, subtle differences in the "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers) could also impact the absorption/overall efficacy of the medication. Put two and two together and you pretty much have a different medication than what you may be used to taking. I hope this info helps! Have you tried any ...

white oblong tablet ## THIS IS NOT HYDROCODONE NOR ANY TYPE OF NARCOTIC! Pills marked with a 44 followed by additional numbers are all over the counter items. They are made by LNK international and they DO NOT make any prescription medications. This one is a generic or store brand of Midol, containing Pamabrom 25mgs, Acetaminophen 500mgs and Pyrilamine 15mgs. ## Yes this is definitely a generic version of Midol I bought it at family dollars for menstrual cramps then I found it in my purse out of the bottle and wondered what it was myself forgetting I bought that but when I looked on here and it showed up as a generic Midol now makes sense

I have been taking Hydrocodone 10/325 four times a day now for over 11 years. Actually, when I started it was Morphine 25mg Extended Tabs twice a day plus Hydrocodone 10/660 four times per day but I cut the Morphine out. Then as the law changed it dropped to 10/500 then to 10/325 and that's where I am now. I always take as prescribed but I want off the pills. I took my last pill 60 hours ago and am experiencing a lot of pain due to my chronic pain and I'm sure withdrawal is making it worse as well. I'm just wondering what can I expect moving forward and what if I happen to take a pill just to be able to sleep at night? Will the one pill start me all over with the symptoms? ## Typically, it wouldn't, but we are all different, so there is no way to make any promises. The F...

Hi. I was prescribed Enantyum 25mg, but I wanted to know if it is ok to take Hydrocodone 5/325mg instead? Thanks. ## You should take the medication that your doctor has prescribed. Enantyum is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Have you tried taking it, yet, to see if it helps you? ## Hi: Thanks for your reply I took Naproxen instead because I couldn't get Enantyum, but it work thanks

My son takes 1/2 a tablet every 6 hours how much tylenol is he actually getting? ## If his tablets are 5/500's then a 1/2 tab is 250 of Tylenol and 2.5 of codeine. ## The active narcotic in this is Hydrocodone, so he'd be getting approximately 2.5mgs of it and approximately 250mgs of the Acetaminophen/Tylenol. And the reason I say approximately, is because when you cut, or break a pill, it is very hard to be precise, so the dosage could be a milligram, or two, one way or the other. Are there any other questions or comments?

i have a pill that is pink and shaped oblonged and on one side it has the number 93 and the other side 149.can you tell me what kind of pill it is? ## This tablet does not contain Hydrocodone, nor any narcotic of any type. The tablet with the 93 149 marking contains 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Learn more Naproxen details here. I have a 25 year history of migraines. Prescribed 1 or 2 fioricet every 4 to 6 hrs. Crazy but true, can someone she'd some light? For severe migraine relief, I need to take 2 at once. If at those times I take 1, wait 45 min for relief then take the other, it doesn't work. My experience has been that basically I have to start over, meaning that after that initial 45 min wait, I have to take 2 at one time, hitting the headache quick and hard. Also sometimes you think you will need 2 at the start and end up knowing that that was too much. So clearly, not good. My question is how can this scenario be? And why doesn't hydrocodone even with some caffeine and tylenol work for my migraines? Migraines are such a balancing act. Going to try Depakote, but keep my fioricet close by. ## ...

5/300 is 1/3 the price of 5/325 of hydrocodone acetaminophen at the pharmacy. Does the pain relief compare and is it worth the difference in price? We are talking $13 versus $38 for 25 mg difference. ## It's possible they have already raised the price with hydrocodone combinations meds becoming a Schedule II meds Oct 6, 2014. Everything from manufacturing to dispensing had to have tighter security and the cost has to be passed on to the customer. ## Hello, Debra! How are you? It really depends on how well it works for you. If you don't take this all the time, then you'll likely get adequate relief from the 5/300, though I don't show a listing for that dosage being available, so it would be best to double check with your pharmacy. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has t...

No, it is processed in only 19 to 22.8 hours. My husband has COPD. He was prescribed the Hydrocodone APAP 5 500 by his doctor for back pain. However, 1 pill seems to allow him to breathe better and reduces all his aches and pain (of course). The pill has also allowed him not to have to take his dose of Advair 250/50 at night. He has less mucous in the morning also. Why is the Hydrocodone 5/500 working like this? ## Hydrocodone is actually used in some medications, such as Tussigon and Tussionex, which are liquids, to help aid coughing, because it also has proven action as an antitussive. Learn more cough medicine details here. It's likely helping to suppress his cough urge and loosen some of the mucous that may cause some of his problems. Learn more Vicodin details here.
