What do 20 mg hydrocodone look like? The pills I have are white oblong tablets with a score on one side and the other side has IP 109 on it. I can't find anything that says what it is. The prescription is 60/200 mg of hydrocodone compound it is a capsule with no writing one part is clear the other is white! Just want to make sure it is a legit pill?? ## Where did you get it? There is no standard dosage of 60/200 available. The only way anyone would have this dosage would be if it were specially ordered by their doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. If that's the case, it would explain the plain capsules, since that's what they usually use. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I've been taken 20 to 30 MGs of hydrocodone daily for one year. I'm running out of pills and don't want to go to the doctor for anymore refills if I just stop cold turkey will I have withdrawals and if so how bad are hydrocodone withdrawals and how long do they last? ## I've been taking hydrocodone 7.5's for a year. I have been taking Hydrocodone/Ibuprofen 7.5-200mg tabs for over 10 years now for chronic pain from having my jaw smashed & back broken. The past two months I have received a different generic from Wallgreens with Actavis as the manufacturer and THEY DO NOT WORK. Absolute crap!! I tried taking more to get the same normal affect and now I have had nothing but major stomach issues and ears ringing. I am going to my Dr on Monday to discuss!! This is ridiculous!! Or is i8 the imprint on a pill you have? ## The pill is oval in shape, white no score mark, and has the imprint of I8 on it. I was told it is hydrocodone. When i searched it out it siad it looks out on the medical it said it remsembles a M360 Hydro ## Would you happen to know what country this medication was obtained from? If it is from the United States, then the predominant possibility is that it is actually an Ibuprofen 800 mg. Another similar marking is IB (instead of an 8), and that's a 200 mg Ibuprofen. According to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. Why can my DR. not prescribe the HYdrocodone apap 10/660 .reason being i was on it for about 7 years with no side affects and could stop taking it anytime with no problems. The narco 10/325 i have to take twice as many to git the same results, and have constipation problems. ## In Jan 2014, the FDA required manufactuers to limit the amount of tylenol in prescription meds to no more than 325 mgs. They no longer make a med rx with 660 mg tylenol. ## @Rocky, BL is right about the new law limiting the amount of acetaminophen to 325mgs. However to my knowledge there are safer alternatives to acetaminophen (such as Curcumin/Turmeric root) with studies showing that it's as effective as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs but without side effects when taken as directed. Take one every 8 hours....i was perscribed opana ER 5 mg 1 every 12 hours they didnt work at All but the regular hydro 10/325 did but Pain Management does not do short acting meds ..anyone had these b4? I have been prescribed Norco 7.5-10 mg prn for 4 yrs. I sometimes take none for 2 weeks but then have a lot of pain and take about 4-6 per week as needed. I had to have a hair follicle test. It says cut off is 200 pg/mg and my quantitative result was 2309 pg/mg. What does that mean? ## Hi ntrubl, In regards to your hair follicle test results, I get the sense that the cut off level of 200 pg/mg is simply referring to the "lowest detectable amount" which can be picked up by the test. Since your results were 2309 pg/mg, this isn't necessarily saying that you had a LOT in your system, but it does imply that you had much more than the minimum amount that could be detected. Hello everyone, I'm trying to find out what manufacturer makes the best (as in best pain relief) 8 mg hydrocodone. I've been taking 8 mg Mallinckrodt hydrocodone since December 2017. I take the medication for breakthrough neuropathic pain (I also have intrathecal pump w/ hydromorphone). Prior to Dec. 2017, I was taking Actavis brand 30 mg oxycodone but getting only minimal pain relief which is why my doctor switched to the hydrocodone. I had tried a few different brands of oxycodone but in the end, stuck with Actavis as it was MUCH better than the others. I've been approximately 10 years on hydrocodone acetaminophen 10-500. It now has been changed to Hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10-325 without any consultation. What would be the reason for the change and will it attack the pain the same? Thank you. Todd ## All prescription tylenol combinations medications had to reduce the amount of tylenol to no more than 325 mg in Jan 2014. The FDA has even taken action to withdraw the approval for prescription meds that have more than 325 mg tylenol. The decrease in tylenol may or may not make any difference to you. Some drs are telling their patients to add 1 regular strength tylenol to the prescription meds, if they need it. What is the shelf life of these pills? 12, 18, 24 Months? I do understand like all other products, they do lose their potency. ## Once they have been removed from the originally factory sealed bottle and exposed to the elements, then the expiration date is one year. If they are still in the original factory sealed bottle, then the expiration date is 3 years from the date of manufacture. &I have been on hydrocodone 10 /325 : 4 to 5 times a day taken 1 every 6 hours. I've taken it for 6 years. In the beginning it worked great for my breakthrough pain but eventually it stopped being as effective, so my doctor switched me to 10 milligrams of oxycodone hcl 3 times a day Just recently but 10 milligrams did not seem to be enough,So I began taking 20 milligrams in the morning and 20 milligrams in the evening sometimes needing 10 milligrams during the night if I wake up in pain. Me and my boyfriend decided we were going to do a binge on pills. He took 20 clonazapam 1 mg and 7 hydrocodone 5/500 in a period of 12 hours...this was on October 11th 2012 he slept great and was functioning properly. He left my house at 8 and went and drank at our friends house. Our friend said he couldn't carry on a two minute conversation without falling asleep.
