How long should hydrocodone liquid last 7.5-325/15 90ml? Taken every 4-6 hours at 5 mls. ## Hello, Kendra! How are you? If you are only taking 5mls, then 90mls should last for 18 doses, which if taken every 4 hours would be 3 days and 4.5 days if taken every 6 hours, but you should be aware that from what you've listed the full dose is in 15mls, not 5mls. In that case, if you were taking 15ml, it would be just 6 doses. As to how long it should last, going by days, that depends on how it's been prescribed, if it's on an 'as needed' basis, then the prescribing doctor may expect it to last longer than those time frames. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizz...

I found this pill in my 18 year old nieces pocket when i went to wash clothes and i've tried looking it up and cant find it anywhere. Please help. ## This tablet was manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as having contained 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The reason you couldn't find it listed anywhere is due to the fact that is has been discontinued due to the amount of Acetaminophen that was in it. The FDA no longer allows combination prescription medications to contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, so this hasn't been manufactured for several years, now. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation....

I took 120 mg of hydrocodone on a Sat. around 6pm at one time I took 50 mg of hydrocodone the following sunday morning (i.e.next day) at one time I took 90 mg of hydrocodone following tuesday at around lunch at one time I took 37.5 mg of hydrocodone same tuesday night at the same time. How long will this stay in my body which = 297.5 mg over the 4 day period? ## So to measure the time it would take your body to metabolize the hydrocodone, you'd want to go mostly off when your final dose was. Hydrocodone on average has an elimination half life of just under 4 hours, which means that within 18 hours or so, it should be metabolized completely. That being said, measuring hydrocodone levels in the body is a different matter. Levels can reside in your body for up to 10 days if the individ...

Iv had this medication for 18months now and when I too it it took along time to kick in Should I get a new prescription? ## Hi Sandy, How did you have to wait before noticing any relief from taking it? Unless you took it with a meal, it shouldn't take very long (typically no more than say 15-20 minutes on average) to feel the effects of a medication you ingested. If however, you are simply not getting much relief or benefit from its use, I would definitely encourage you to speak with your doctor about other types of treatment options for your pain. I hope this helps! ## Do you mean you have been taking this med for 18 months or you have had the same prescription for 18 months ? ## the time it takes to absorb very's from person to person and the time you ate around taking the pil...

What is the shelf life of these pills? 12, 18, 24 Months? I do understand like all other products, they do lose their potency. ## Once they have been removed from the originally factory sealed bottle and exposed to the elements, then the expiration date is one year. If they are still in the original factory sealed bottle, then the expiration date is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Are there any other questions? ## Thank you, I'll be throwing these pills out ## I believe they say you can keep them for 3 years, that is if they are sealed from the manufacturer. Saw a new ortho surgeon. Was taking Hydrocodone/Acetamenaphine 10-325. For lower back pain. He said "oh no, Don't take that!" and presribed Tramadol 50 mg. Why? ## Because it can be highly addictive. Also it is going to go from a Schedule III to a Schedule II, Oct 6, 2014. That means no refills, it can't be called in and you must see your dr at least every 90 days. Even though Tramadol can also be addicting, the risk isn't as great. Tramadol became a Schedule IV Aug 18, 2014. ## Hello, Pete! How are you? If so, you may be past side effects and into permanent organ damage, so you need to seek medical attention. Even the lowest dosage of these contain 325mgs of Acetaminophen in each tablet, along with the narcotic Hydrocodone and that comes out to 58,500mgs in a week and it is considered toxic at anything over 4,000mgs in a day, which would be only 28,000mgs in a week.
