hydrocodone 10 325 max dose
Have been taking pain pills for past 10 years for back issues. New doctor had me on Morphine extended release and immediately release for 5 months then switched me to 15 mg Oxycodone for 5 weeks after surgery and was taking 15 mg every 6 hours, but last 2 weeks I took 1 every 4 hours. I had been on oxy before and I don't do well with it. Already addicted and wanted to get off it I asked for Hydrocodone. He gave me 10/325 taking every 4 hrs. My withdraws are bad and the pain is back. Nurse called back and said I can't take more than 1 every 4 hrs and to deal with it. What to do? I got myself off Oxycodone before over 3 months of cutting myself back. This is killing me. Please give me advice. Also was told to talk antihistamine and 4 ibuprofen each time. Seems so much other stuff ... ...

hydrocodone apap 5mg 325mg tabs
Iv had this medication for 18months now and when I too it it took along time to kick in Should I get a new prescription? ## Hi Sandy, How did you have to wait before noticing any relief from taking it? Unless you took it with a meal, it shouldn't take very long (typically no more than say 15-20 minutes on average) to feel the effects of a medication you ingested. If however, you are simply not getting much relief or benefit from its use, I would definitely encourage you to speak with your doctor about other types of treatment options for your pain. I hope this helps! ## Do you mean you have been taking this med for 18 months or you have had the same prescription for 18 months ? ## the time it takes to absorb very's from person to person and the time you ate around taking the pil... ...

Is this product Gluten Free? Does the filler formula change depending on when it is manufactured? Is there a risk for cross contamination during the manufacturing of this product or at any other time before the patient fills a prescription? ## I have been allergic to gluten for 15 years now, and I have been taking it for the past 3 years, so I am assuming it is safe or I would have known it, by my throat and tongue swelling up. I don't know about a risk of cross contamination...but so far I have not had any problems. ## Based on my research, each Hydrocodone 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg tablet (from Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized ... ...

they expired 2 years ago, can they still be taken? ## Hi Christeen, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of drugs use... ...

is there a 15 mg hydrocodone pill
i take norco 10/325 and wonder is there a stronger hydrocodone pill such as 15/325 ## No, the maximum amount currently available on the market is 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. Usually, when someone isn't getting the pain relief they need from it, they move on to something else, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. It is still a narcotic and can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Try not to go up to percet. I went to percet 10/325 from norco 10/325. They take over... ...

hydrocodone solution 240ml
I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. Be careful of Tylenol tho. New recommended dose is 3000mg per day. Now if its cough syrup, it's tussinex , is it super thick? That's 10mg hydrocodone per 5 m... ...

butrans 5mg patch vs hydrocodone 10/325 for pain
Im having an awful time with migraines. No triptans work so I'm on narcotics for chronic pain. Currently taking hydrocodone 10/325 twice a day but its not helping much anymore. Pain mgnmt dr prescribed Butrans 5mg patch. Its not covered by my insurance so I wanted to know if its better for pain than the current hydro I'm on before spending $170 on a mths supply. Any info is appreciated. Tired of this chronic pain! ## ask your Dr if he can appeal the insurance Co's decision. He might be able to get them to OK it. I take Butrans 15 for severe neck pain. I love the fact the one patch lasts a week and there is no ups and down in the pain relief. ## Hello, Sharon! Sorry about the migraines. The only way to know if it will help you is by actually trying it. What you might want to ... ...

liquid hydrocodone-Acetamin
I have bottle of liquid hydrocodon-Acetamin 7.5-325/15 & the QTY:150 how many ML EQUALS TO ONE TABLET ## Hello, Mob! How are you? 15, that's what the 7.5-325/15 means on the label, that's the dosage you get in 15mls, 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## 5 mls is 1 teaspoon. 1 teaspoon of this med is 7.5 mg Hydrocodone/325 Acetaminophen. ## if 5 mls is 1 teaspoon, than the 15 would refer to 3 teaspoons equaling the actual dosage of 7.5-325. Am I right or am I right? ## I think Im right, 5mls, 1 teaspoon equals 7.5 mg Hydrocodone/325 Acetaminophen. 3 teas... ...

is hydrocodone equivalent to
Hydroco/Apap sol 7.5-325 20 ml every 4-6 hours. What is this equal to in pill form? ## Hello, Heather! How are you? If that is the dosage in each 20ml of the liquid, then that would be equivalent to a 7.5/325mg tablet. Unless I am misunderstanding your question, if so, I do apologize and ask that you post back and clarify. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Norco details here. which is stronger hydrocodone or oxycodone 5 325
ive bee taking 15 mg of oxycodone every 4hrs for chronic pain do to a brain injury that occured about 4 months ago. ive never had ANY cetimeiphen in it ever. please explain why some people do have this and some don't. thanks. p.s oxycodone is definatley stronger than hydrocone. i am about to go to to 15mg of the hydrocodone it works better for me. definitly and last longer. why? ## Hello, Travis! How are you? Some of them contain Acetaminophen, because it augments the narcotic opiate and helps it work better, so it has a stronger effect and works better to relieve pain. However, the narcotic is still effective without it and it isn't necessary to prescribe one that contains Acetaminophen for everyone. It can be very rough on the liver, especially if someone is taking high amount... ...

Hydrocodone 10mg 325mg Is 16 Pills In 24 Hours Bad
MALE 210LBS TAKES WHATEVER WHENEVER BUT IS TAKING 16 Pills In 24 Hours Bad Hydrocodone 10mg 325mg...WHATS BOUND TO HAPPEN...WHAT IF HE TAKES OXYCODONE 15MG ALSO ## Hello, According to Topix.com, "Daily consumption of hydrocodone should not exceed 40 milligrams in patients not tolerant to opiates. The 2006 Physicians Desk Reference states that Norco 10, containing 10 milligrams of hydrocodone and 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen) can be taken at a dosage of up to twelve tablets per day (120 mg of hydrocodone). This restriction is only limited by the fact that twelve tablets, each containing 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen), puts the patient right below the 24-hour FDA maximum of 4,000 mg of APAP. Some specially compounded products are routinely given to chronic pain patients in doses of u... ...

HOW MUCH HYDROCODONE 5/325 EQUALS TWO OXYCODONE 5/325
I had jaw surgery 10 days ago and for 4-5 days I've been taking oxycodone 5/325 because my incision opened and it is so unbearabley painful. Im Supposed To Take 1 to 2 5x325 Oxycodone every 4 hours. The Pharmasist for some reason Gave Me Hydrocodone 5/325 ...How Many Hydrocone 5/325 Equal 2 5/325 of oxycodone. SAVE ME PLEASE ## Hi, Lindsey, how are you doing? If your pharmacy gave you the wrong medication, you should really go back and let them know, so they can provide you with the correct prescription. They aren't allowed to just change it on a whim, that would require your doctor's approval. And it would take 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal each 5mg of Oxycodone, so 15mgs to equal 10 of the Oxycodone. The main issue is that you'd also be increasing the amount of Ac... ...

hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 taken with Meloxicam 15 for back pain
Is this a safe combination? hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 taken with Meloxicam 15 for back pain ## Hello, Jud! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these medications, but you should double check with your doctor or pharmacist to be sure. And you may not necessarily need them both, since the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic, it may handle the pain for you, so you may want to try it by itself, first. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. 15+ yrs hydrocodone use/drug replacement therapy
I have used hydrocodone for more than 15 yrs, due to lupus and fibromyalgia. I want to get off it and was wondering: if I go into detox, will they then put me on drug replacement therapy? I take 30-40 mg of hydro./day (3-4 Norco) but I don't go buy pills or dr. shop - that is my RX ## I would recomend cymbalta it works for depression anxiety and fibromyalgia. So it works for the pain strangley enough and puts you in a good mood not like other antidepresants. I would recomend to keep some of the norcos or a lesser narcotic for breakthrough pain for say the morning or night when the pain is at it's worst. ## I've been taking them for 12 years due to lower back pain and pain from Multiple Sclerosis. I take between 30 and 40 mg ( Norco 10/325) but I am more concerned about the T... ...

Hi, my name is Rebecca & I currently take hydrocodone 5/325mg tablets q6hrs for pain. I get 60 & I have refills so I can refill them as needed every 15 days. I was released from the hospital on Sunday w/pleurisy of the lungs due to my lupus. On Friday August 8th, my doctor gave me a prescription for Lortab liquid to ease my cough since I cannot take codeine. I filled the script for the Lortab liquid yesterday Friday. It is 10/300 taking 5ml every 4 hrs & there's 120mls which comes to 24 doses or 4 days supply. which is stronger hydrocodone or oxycodone 5 325 which makes you more tired?
my doctor switched me to Oxycod/apap 5-325 from Hydroco/apap 5-325. Which one makes you tired? ## Hello, CK! How are you? The Oxycodone is stronger, you only need 3.33mgs of it to be equivalent to each 5mgs of the Hydrocodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. As to which makes you more tired, I can't really answer that. Side effects are individualized, so it will really depend on you and how you react to any given medication. Is there anything else I can help with? ## So if I've been taking 15 mg of percocet I would need 25 mg of vicodin to get the same relief? ...

hydrocodone and tramadol the three 50 equal to 1 7 5
I ran out of my meds which is hydrocodone 10 325 I'm wondering what the equal to how many tramadol 50 milligramS ## Hello, Twisttle! How are you? I'm sorry, but you can't even convert between the two, they are nowhere even close to being the same in efficacy. The best suggestion I can make is to call your doctor and see what they suggest you do. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. No One Will Tell Me If The Doctor Has Ordered To Take Much Pain Meds 2 Tabs Morphine 15mg And 5 Hydrocodone 10 325mg Aday Gabapentin 800mg 3 Times Car
will someone anwer this question for me doctor will not lower meds and i am not awake enought to take them as ordered. doctor will drop me if is order our not followed ## If you are sleeping that much, then yes, there is a possibility that you are taking too many medications, but only you can really decide that. What type of doctor are you seeing? It really makes no sense for him to refuse to lower medications, if necessary. What is his reasoning for it? Most doctors are far too conservative the other way and are afraid of prescribing too much. ## For anyone else in this boat, the doctor is referring to the fact that when he gives you a u.a., you had better have the opiates he prescribed in your system or else he will think you are diverting your medications. Also this post sounded trol... ...

is there a dosage chart for hydrocol apap sol 7 5 325 15ml
my 5 yr old was prescribed this by his doctor and when i gave it to him he got sick and threw up. wondering if i should give him a lower dosage ## Hello, Kristine! How is your son? The Hydrocodone in this is narcotic analgesic, so it can cause nausea as a side effect. Lowering the amount you give him will on hurt if it leaves him in pain. It may also cause other side effects, such as drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Have you consulted his pediatrician? They may be able to prescribe something to prevent the nausea. ...
