hydrocodone apap 5mg 325mg tabs
Iv had this medication for 18months now and when I too it it took along time to kick in Should I get a new prescription? ## Hi Sandy, How did you have to wait before noticing any relief from taking it? Unless you took it with a meal, it shouldn't take very long (typically no more than say 15-20 minutes on average) to feel the effects of a medication you ingested. If however, you are simply not getting much relief or benefit from its use, I would definitely encourage you to speak with your doctor about other types of treatment options for your pain. I hope this helps! ## Do you mean you have been taking this med for 18 months or you have had the same prescription for 18 months ? ## the time it takes to absorb very's from person to person and the time you ate around taking the pil... ...

qualitest hydrocodone apap 5 325
Is this product Gluten Free? Does the filler formula change depending on when it is manufactured? Is there a risk for cross contamination during the manufacturing of this product or at any other time before the patient fills a prescription? ## I have been allergic to gluten for 15 years now, and I have been taking it for the past 3 years, so I am assuming it is safe or I would have known it, by my throat and tongue swelling up. I don't know about a risk of cross contamination...but so far I have not had any problems. ## Based on my research, each Hydrocodone 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg tablet (from Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized ... ...

Hydrocodone Apap 5 325 Watson 3202
they expired 2 years ago, can they still be taken? ## Hi Christeen, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of drugs use... ...

is there a 15 mg hydrocodone pill
i take norco 10/325 and wonder is there a stronger hydrocodone pill such as 15/325 ## No, the maximum amount currently available on the market is 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. Usually, when someone isn't getting the pain relief they need from it, they move on to something else, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. It is still a narcotic and can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Try not to go up to percet. I went to percet 10/325 from norco 10/325. They take over... ...

hydrocodone solution 240ml
I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. Be careful of Tylenol tho. New recommended dose is 3000mg per day. Now if its cough syrup, it's tussinex , is it super thick? That's 10mg hydrocodone per 5 m... ...

butrans 5mg patch vs hydrocodone 10/325 for pain
Im having an awful time with migraines. No triptans work so I'm on narcotics for chronic pain. Currently taking hydrocodone 10/325 twice a day but its not helping much anymore. Pain mgnmt dr prescribed Butrans 5mg patch. Its not covered by my insurance so I wanted to know if its better for pain than the current hydro I'm on before spending $170 on a mths supply. Any info is appreciated. Tired of this chronic pain! ## ask your Dr if he can appeal the insurance Co's decision. He might be able to get them to OK it. I take Butrans 15 for severe neck pain. I love the fact the one patch lasts a week and there is no ups and down in the pain relief. ## Hello, Sharon! Sorry about the migraines. The only way to know if it will help you is by actually trying it. What you might want to ... ...

which is stronger hydrocodone or oxycodone 5 325
ive bee taking 15 mg of oxycodone every 4hrs for chronic pain do to a brain injury that occured about 4 months ago. ive never had ANY cetimeiphen in it ever. please explain why some people do have this and some don't. thanks. p.s oxycodone is definatley stronger than hydrocone. i am about to go to to 15mg of the hydrocodone it works better for me. definitly and last longer. why? ## Hello, Travis! How are you? Some of them contain Acetaminophen, because it augments the narcotic opiate and helps it work better, so it has a stronger effect and works better to relieve pain. However, the narcotic is still effective without it and it isn't necessary to prescribe one that contains Acetaminophen for everyone. It can be very rough on the liver, especially if someone is taking high amount... ...

Hydrocodone 10mg 325mg Is 16 Pills In 24 Hours Bad
MALE 210LBS TAKES WHATEVER WHENEVER BUT IS TAKING 16 Pills In 24 Hours Bad Hydrocodone 10mg 325mg...WHATS BOUND TO HAPPEN...WHAT IF HE TAKES OXYCODONE 15MG ALSO ## Hello, According to, "Daily consumption of hydrocodone should not exceed 40 milligrams in patients not tolerant to opiates. The 2006 Physicians Desk Reference states that Norco 10, containing 10 milligrams of hydrocodone and 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen) can be taken at a dosage of up to twelve tablets per day (120 mg of hydrocodone). This restriction is only limited by the fact that twelve tablets, each containing 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen), puts the patient right below the 24-hour FDA maximum of 4,000 mg of APAP. Some specially compounded products are routinely given to chronic pain patients in doses of u... ...

I had jaw surgery 10 days ago and for 4-5 days I've been taking oxycodone 5/325 because my incision opened and it is so unbearabley painful. Im Supposed To Take 1 to 2 5x325 Oxycodone every 4 hours. The Pharmasist for some reason Gave Me Hydrocodone 5/325 ...How Many Hydrocone 5/325 Equal 2 5/325 of oxycodone. SAVE ME PLEASE ## Hi, Lindsey, how are you doing? If your pharmacy gave you the wrong medication, you should really go back and let them know, so they can provide you with the correct prescription. They aren't allowed to just change it on a whim, that would require your doctor's approval. And it would take 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal each 5mg of Oxycodone, so 15mgs to equal 10 of the Oxycodone. The main issue is that you'd also be increasing the amount of Ac... ...

hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 taken with Meloxicam 15 for back pain
Is this a safe combination? hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 taken with Meloxicam 15 for back pain ## Hello, Jud! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these medications, but you should double check with your doctor or pharmacist to be sure. And you may not necessarily need them both, since the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic, it may handle the pain for you, so you may want to try it by itself, first. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns? ...

15+ yrs hydrocodone use/drug replacement therapy
I have used hydrocodone for more than 15 yrs, due to lupus and fibromyalgia. I want to get off it and was wondering: if I go into detox, will they then put me on drug replacement therapy? I take 30-40 mg of hydro./day (3-4 Norco) but I don't go buy pills or dr. shop - that is my RX ## I would recomend cymbalta it works for depression anxiety and fibromyalgia. So it works for the pain strangley enough and puts you in a good mood not like other antidepresants. I would recomend to keep some of the norcos or a lesser narcotic for breakthrough pain for say the morning or night when the pain is at it's worst. ## I've been taking them for 12 years due to lower back pain and pain from Multiple Sclerosis. I take between 30 and 40 mg ( Norco 10/325) but I am more concerned about the T... ...

No One Will Tell Me If The Doctor Has Ordered To Take Much Pain Meds 2 Tabs Morphine 15mg And 5 Hydrocodone 10 325mg Aday Gabapentin 800mg 3 Times Car
will someone anwer this question for me doctor will not lower meds and i am not awake enought to take them as ordered. doctor will drop me if is order our not followed ## If you are sleeping that much, then yes, there is a possibility that you are taking too many medications, but only you can really decide that. What type of doctor are you seeing? It really makes no sense for him to refuse to lower medications, if necessary. What is his reasoning for it? Most doctors are far too conservative the other way and are afraid of prescribing too much. ## For anyone else in this boat, the doctor is referring to the fact that when he gives you a u.a., you had better have the opiates he prescribed in your system or else he will think you are diverting your medications. Also this post sounded trol... ...

Interactions Lisinop/HCTZ 20-12.5 TAB & Hydroc10/APAP325 & bUPROPION hYDROCHLORIDE SR 150MG
Is there any bad drug interactions when taking Lisinopril and Hydrochlorothiazide 20/12.5mg for high blood presure-once a day with Norco 10/325 twice a day for pain with Bupropion Hydrochloride Extended-release tab (SR) 150 mg twice a day for depression? I have already been experiencing constipation but is there any others anyone can share or tell me about? ## Based on my research, a few of your medications do list potentially unsafe drug interactions. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: Applies to: Bupropion + Norco (acetaminophen/hydrocodone) "Talk to your doctor before using Bupropion together with Hydrocodone. Combining these medications may increase the risk of seizures, which may occur rarely with either medication. You may be more likely to experience sei... ...

Morphine 15 Mg S A
taking morphine 15 mg S A. Have been on hydrocodone 10/325APAP, and oxycodone 10/325APAP. Don't seem to be getting any relief from the morphine. Is this just a transitition, or could there be an issue here ? ## Have you consulted your doctor? It could really be either that the dose of the Morphine isn't high enough to handle your pain, or some withdrawal/rebound effects from switching medications and there is also a possibility that it's a combination of both. ## I feel that I am not getting the relief I used to get from my medication. For the past 5 years I have been taking 6 norcos 10/325 and beginning 2 years ago I began to take 2 Oycontin 40 mg per day. My doctor is very difficult to talk to about increasing my dosage. morphine Sulf ER 15 MG & Aderal
Can you take Morphine Sulf ER 15 with aderal ?... I'm scared as hell !... My Dr. Pushed the Morphine on me over taking just Hydrocodone 10/325 ... & this concerns me :/ .... ## My doc insisted on switching me from 5-325 Norco to Morphine Sulfate as well, and it was the WORST thing that's happened to me, EVER. He felt that it was best to switch to the supposedly long-acting Morphine rather than increase my dose of Norco (I had been on the lowest possible dose of Norco--5-325--for about EIGHT years, so this would have been the very first dosage increase in all those years. It's certainly not like I had kept asking for more pills or bigger doses or anything but none the less, he felt it was better to switch to Morphine instead of slightly increasing the Norco.) Morphine is ... ...

DHC plus
This is a combination of a narcotic anagesic containing 15 mg of dihydrocodeine, 325 mg of acetaminophen (APAP) and 50 mg of caffeine. Dyhydrocodeine is about one to two times more potent as Codeine, but it is not as potent as Hydrocodone. A typical does of 30 mg of dihydrocodeine is about equal to 45-60 mg of Codeine. Duhydrocodeine is both a Schedule II controlled substance by itself and a Schedule III controlled substance when compounded with APAP or Asprin (ASA). It is rarely used in America and for reasons unbeknown; nonetheless it's low abuse potential allows it to be sold OTC in Europe as an anagesic in strengths of 7.49 mg dihydrocodeine compounded with 500 mg of APAP. US LAW: If sold in the US this would be a Schedule III Controlled Substance It is also available by prescri... ...
