I have been taking norco 10/325 yellow oval pill for a few years but yesterday what I got was different they were white oblong pills which says hyd/apap 10/325 mg tab amnea on it and the numbers on the tablet are G 037. Are they the same? The norco always worked very well but these white tabs don't seem as strong or work as well. ## Yes, they are the same, the tablet with the G 037 on it has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Tris Pharma. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How many have you taken, so far?

I fell and damaged 6 disc in my spine. I had surgery on 2 disc and was given hydrocodone apap which was yellow with a V on one side and 3601 on the other side. I was later given the same prescription, but the pill was white and had IP 110 on it. The yellow stopped the pain with no side effects. The white makes me feel drugged and nauseous. What is the difference? I have also be give a 7.5 of the same medication. It is white with U02 on it. It makes me feel the same way as the white 10/325 does. Who are the manufacturers? Please help!!! ## Hello, Marie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had. The tablet with the 3601 V marking is manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals, the tablet with the IP 110 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, both of these ...

is it hard to get off this pill i am taking 4 day for my back ## The active narcotic in this, Hydrocodone, can be habit forming, even when it's not abused, but it will really depend on how long you've been taking it. If you haven't been on it for many months or years, then any possible withdrawal effects should be minimal, but can include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and drowsiness, as well as rebound pain. I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. Is there any truth to this or what is the problem? ## Nok that is not true, if you receive them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, everything they dispense must meet the same FDA efficacy standards. It is warned that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and ...

I have taken the dosage as prescribed by Dr. and started with no side effects. The last 3 days though I have experienced frequent vomiting and can not even keep water down until the med has worn out.Is there any relation to vicitin which is what I thought the Dr. was supposed to prescribe to th pharmacy. ## Well, the Hydrocodone in this is a narcotic, so it can cause the nausea and vomiting, as a side effect, especially if you aren't used to taking it. Have you contacted your doctor about it?

hydrocodone is all the same. "Vicoprofen" is superior for dental pain ## Hi Kim, I'm not sure what the basis of your post is in so far as saying that "hydrocodone is all the same"? But the idea of adding Ibuprofen to the mix instead of the standard Acetaminophen/Tylenol doesn't seem to measure out a significant difference in my opinion, since they are both NSAID's. Vicoprofen may be good for pain for one person, but not necessarily another since everyone tends to respond differently. However each drug still comes with an understanding that undesirable and potentially fatal side effects such as liver or kidney damage, stomach bleeding, etc, has been reported to happen. So even if one does yield better results, the risk factors of using either one long term are...

Please tell me if watson has a white 10/325?? I only had the yellow one's.. Are they real? ## Actually, Watson has recently been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to people being allergic or sensitive to them. Thus, several of their products are now white. However, if you received it from an approved U.S. pharmacy and it has the same markings, then it is still the correct medication. Learn more Lortab details here. You should be aware, however, that there have also been reports from some that they don't seem to work the same and aren't as effective. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes they are white now. I just had to call the pharmacy to make sure I was given the right prescription. ## JG are they working fine for you? I have my white now, and I do...

What major drug store chain carries watson hydrocodone pills? ## There is really no way of knowing, the only thing you can try is asking the pharmacies who manufactures the ones they carry. Since it is a generic, it can vary, at any given time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when the pharmacy had to restock their supply. That is how they keep their prices down for customers. Are there any other questions? ## Bro f*** the Watson brand, the yellow v cuts that have a Flying V or the peach are way better. Watson are weak. If you put the peach r 7.5 against the 10/325, the peach wins and it's lower in strength, but stronger than Watson. ## Do you have to ask if they carry your hydrocodone in person only? Or can you call? ## I get a monthly prescription of Norco 10 325 ...

Have been taking pain pills for past 10 years for back issues. New doctor had me on Morphine extended release and immediately release for 5 months then switched me to 15 mg Oxycodone for 5 weeks after surgery and was taking 15 mg every 6 hours, but last 2 weeks I took 1 every 4 hours. I had been on oxy before and I don't do well with it. Already addicted and wanted to get off it I asked for Hydrocodone. He gave me 10/325 taking every 4 hrs. My withdraws are bad and the pain is back. Nurse called back and said I can't take more than 1 every 4 hrs and to deal with it. What to do? I got myself off Oxycodone before over 3 months of cutting myself back. This is killing me. Please give me advice. Also was told to talk antihistamine and 4 ibuprofen each time. Walgreens filled for me this time and b4 giving it to me asked "your allergic to tramadol? But you've taken norco?" Being in a hurry I didn't think about it..but I've had to take 2 and I'm itching and breaking out soo I think I'll have to ask them about that ## They are different medications, however, when someone discovers they are allergic to one medication, there is always a risk that they may find more they are allergic to, as well. In such cases, it is best to stop taking it and consult your doctor immediately, according to NIH warnings, such reactions tend to get worse with repeated exposure. Has there been any change?

I have been using brand name Norco 10 325 for some time. recently because of the DEA I cannot get them and nowi mallinckrodt s the only drug my pharmacy sells. I have read so many bad things about them on the internet, frankly I am about to have a nervous breakdown as I recently had rotator cuff surgery and I have to have the pain control to complete my therapy. I have heard good things but everyone says that the one to say the good things are crazy. help!!! ## I understand your concern, however, the only way to know if they will help you, or not, is to actually try them! You're not doing yourself any good by getting upset over it, please calm down. :-) It isn't that the people on either side of what you've read are crazy, it's that everyone is different, so some may not...

What is it going to been my med filled ## Hi Mary, I'm not aware of any current shortages for generic Norco, as there are no official announcements on the FDA's drug shortage list (linked below): accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/drugshortages You may want to ask the pharmacy you go to if it would still be available at a different dosage/quantity than you're used to receiving from your doctor; (after of course making him aware of what's going on as well). From what I've heard in other threads, sometimes they wont fill your script if the dosage or quantity is more than they are prepared to dispense. So any adjustments to that might make it a little easier to fill your script on a regular basis. However I would also encourage you to check with other pharmacies in your area as...

Although many have said one drug is the same as the other I find that Qualitest hydrocodone 10/325 seems to not affect me as far as making me drowsy and extremely tired. It does so help with the pain but it does not make me so I can not function. The other manufacturer Mallincor (spelling not right) their hydrocodone makes me so tired I have to literally go to bed. Strange I think that if two drugs are identical how can they have different effects to you. I prefer to not take any hydrocodone but until I am through this pain I prefer to take the one that does not comatose me. ## While they contain the same active ingredients, there can be fluctuations in the amount of them that are in generic medications, additionally, the inactive ingredients can be entirely different. Thus, the one fro...

Ask if they changed manufacturer? Keep a ear out for aurobindo or aurolife.... Hi I was getting the yellow 10 mlg that say v 3601 but now I have the same pill except it's white instead of yellow. Is this the same pill please help! Thanks. ## White tablet, v 3601 is Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg ## I haven't seen this in white yet, however, many companies have recently been removing the dye in their tablets, due to the problems some people have had with being sensitive to, or allergic to the dyes being used. Learn more Lortab details here. However, if you received it from a legitimate pharmacy in the U.S. and the marking is the same, then it is probably safe to assume that the dye has just been removed.
