3 Topics FoundIs their a difference between the two? ## I hace severe/chronic sciatica and the doctor has been proscribing Vicodin/hydrocodone for years......2 at a time and some days, as much as 4 doses. Recently he cut the tylenol portion so that it would be safer for my liver than the previous 10/660 and 10/500 tablets. Accordingly, he prescribed small amounts of Percocets (10/325 E712) and Hydrodone Norco (10/325) so that I could decide which worked better for me. My initial reaction was that 2 of the percocet compared to 2 of the hydro manifested mainly in drowsiness. I found the hydro to be a bit more effective for pain management and I was able to function, feeling good, whereas the Percocet only made me want to sleep, groggy and a bit out of sorts while still feeling a good amount of pain: Qu...

yellow oval pill v/36 01 ## This contains Acetaminophen 325mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs, it is a generic for Norco. This is a narcotic pain reliever, very strong and addictive. ## I wouldn't say they are "very strong", they are strong if you're not used to narcotic pain relievers, much stronger than a darvocet, tylenol 3, or even a plain vicodin 5/500, but weak compared to pain relievers such as percocet, roxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, demerol, oxycontin, fentanyl, and the many other stronger painkillers on the market. I HIGHLY agree that they're very addictive though. I struggled with addiction to vicodin and norco, so I know how addictive they are. ## in trouble need 5 10mg vicodin to feel ok a day

Norco is the brand name by Watson for 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen, they also make the generic. Norco is yellow in color and caplet shaped.Originally it was only 10mg, now it's 7.5 and 5, hydrocodone and the same Tylenol in all. Has no codiene in it. Hydrocodone is a semi synthetic drug, a ketone of codeine and is 8 times stronger than codiene, mg to mg.has a more sedative effect and has a half life of 3.8 hrs compared to codiene's 2.5 hrs. ## I've been taking Norco, 10-325, for over fifteen years on an occasional basis because of back pain due to auto accidents, surgeries.
