I had surgery on my shoulder Dr, gave me 10/500 hydrocodne. and when he refill he gave me 10/325 and then gave me 5/500 is there a big different in the mg? ## The difference in the numbers shows the different in the mgs. The first tablet you had contained 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The next 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The last 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. How is the new dosage handling your pain and discomfort?

does hydrocodone apap come in 12.5/500 mg ## No, before the DEA made changes the maximum dosage available only contained 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, since the changes, the maximum available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen comes in 3 strengths, Hydrocodone 10/Acetaminophen 325, Hydrocodone 7.5/Acetaminophen 325 and Hydrocodone 5/Acetaminophen 325. ## @Rest, I've never heard of anyone taking 500mgs of Hydrocodone, except throughout the duration of an entire monthly or bi-weekly script (i.e. if you took two 7.5mg tablets [15mg] a day for 33 days, you'd be at 495 mgs)... but for the sake of answering the question at hand, if you were to simply divide 500mg by 1.5mg, it would come out to roughly 333 1.5mg doses - Something that would have to require a patient to divide their 5mg pills into 1/...

It is the imprint that would enable us to identify it for you, the shape and color actually don't mean anything. The imprints will vary according to dosage and manufacturer, but here are some examples: A blue, oblong with M361 on one side and a score on the other contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Another blue, oblong with WATSON over 540 on one side and a score on the other contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. pink rectangular v on one side 3500 on the other ## I cannot verify it 100%, but this tablet supposedly contains 7.5mg of Hydrocodone. I'm going to try and reach Qualitest Pharmaceuticals (formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals) to see if V 3500 is in their product line. Lastly, is there any way that you could be misreading the 3500? It is known that a pink tablet with V on one side and 3600 on the other is a generic Vicodin containing Acetaminophen 500 mg + Hydrocodone 10 mg. Hope this helps!
