What is stronger and how do these 2 drugs compare.....10/325 hydrocodone vs. tramadol 50 mg ## You really can't compare them, since they aren't in the same drug classes. The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin/Lortab is a potent narcotic analgesic. But the Tramadol is just a centrally acting analgesic, though it is derived from an opiate, it is nowhere near as strong and effective as the opiate narcotic class. Both can be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can learn more Vicodin details here and you can learn more Tramadol details here. Which one has been prescribed for you?

I would like to order. I need prices. ## Hello, Dine! How are you? This site does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only resource. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, it is a controlled substance that also requires regular visits to your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is this pill 5 mg or 10mg? And what does the 3604 stand for? ## Hello, Doc! How are you? The white, oblong tablet with the red specks that has the marking 3604 V on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And according to law, all manufactured prescription tablets must have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of an emergency, so any given pill can be traced by to a specific manufacturer. That's what the 3604 V is, it's just the code that Vintage/Qualitest has chosen to use on this pill to identify it as their product. Is there anything else I can help with?

White oblong pill/caplet with a line through the center on one side and imprint: IP 110 on the other. Is it, in fact, 10/325??? ## i ran out of mu usuall watson big like oval bklue tens and i got this through a buddy.. is it in fact the same thing?? i dont want to take it if not ## Yes, this tablet is Hydrocodone 10mgs and Acetaminophen 325mgs. However, if you are running out early, then apparently your pain is not in control and rather than getting meds illegally from someone else, you should see your doctor to see what you can do to better treat your condition. ## I too have always taken the blue pill which is lortab 10/500..and recently I had to go to a different pharmacy and they gave me a white tablet..and it say M363 on one side the other is plain..they said it is the same as the ...

A light yellow oblong shaped tablet imprinted with 36 01 on the front and V on th back. ## T have been taking hydrocod/apap 5/500 and have been changed to hydroc/apap 10/325. whichy is stronger? ## is this pill hydroco/apap ? it has M357 on it ## In regards to the original question, yes the tablet with the 3601 V contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and is roughly equivalent to what you were taking. The dosage of the narcotic has been raised, while the Acetaminophen has been lowered, to help protect you from the damage that long term use of higher doses of it can cause, such as liver failure. It may even be a little stronger for you and help your pain more, depending on how sensitive you are to the narcotic. You can learn more Vicodin details here. And yes, the tabl...

is it hard to get off this pill i am taking 4 day for my back ## The active narcotic in this, Hydrocodone, can be habit forming, even when it's not abused, but it will really depend on how long you've been taking it. If you haven't been on it for many months or years, then any possible withdrawal effects should be minimal, but can include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and drowsiness, as well as rebound pain. I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. Is there any truth to this or what is the problem? ## Nok that is not true, if you receive them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, everything they dispense must meet the same FDA efficacy standards. It is warned that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and ...

Hi, I'm a 27 year old male with 2 thoracic disc protrusions, 1 lumbar protrusion, also have facet disease through entire spine. Also cord impingement in both of the thoracic disc areas. My question is that I'm currently on three 10/325 hydrocodone a day, but I'm finding im needing more than the 3 a day to manage my pain. Is it possible or safe to take 4-5 of these a day? I've been on hydrocodone for 3 years now and at most I only get about an hour of relief from my current dose. ## Hello, Justin! How are you? The main concern is actually the Acetaminophen that's in them, taking too much of it in a day can result in overdose toxicity, which could lead to liver damage, failure or even death. 4 or 5 of them in a day isn't an unreasonable dose, but only your doctor c...

Have you contacted your doctor about it?

hydrocodone is all the same. "Vicoprofen" is superior for dental pain ## Hi Kim, I'm not sure what the basis of your post is in so far as saying that "hydrocodone is all the same"? But the idea of adding Ibuprofen to the mix instead of the standard Acetaminophen/Tylenol doesn't seem to measure out a significant difference in my opinion, since they are both NSAID's. Vicoprofen may be good for pain for one person, but not necessarily another since everyone tends to respond differently. However each drug still comes with an understanding that undesirable and potentially fatal side effects such as liver or kidney damage, stomach bleeding, etc, has been reported to happen. So even if one does yield better results, the risk factors of using either one long term are...

Please tell me if watson has a white 10/325?? I only had the yellow one's.. Are they real? ## Actually, Watson has recently been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to people being allergic or sensitive to them. Thus, several of their products are now white. However, if you received it from an approved U.S. pharmacy and it has the same markings, then it is still the correct medication. Learn more Lortab details here. You should be aware, however, that there have also been reports from some that they don't seem to work the same and aren't as effective. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes they are white now. I just had to call the pharmacy to make sure I was given the right prescription. ## JG are they working fine for you? Have been taking pain pills for past 10 years for back issues. New doctor had me on Morphine extended release and immediately release for 5 months then switched me to 15 mg Oxycodone for 5 weeks after surgery and was taking 15 mg every 6 hours, but last 2 weeks I took 1 every 4 hours. I had been on oxy before and I don't do well with it. Already addicted and wanted to get off it I asked for Hydrocodone. He gave me 10/325 taking every 4 hrs. My withdraws are bad and the pain is back. Nurse called back and said I can't take more than 1 every 4 hrs and to deal with it. What to do? I got myself off Oxycodone before over 3 months of cutting myself back. This is killing me. Please give me advice. Also was told to talk antihistamine and 4 ibuprofen each time. Walgreens filled for me this time and b4 giving it to me asked "your allergic to tramadol? But you've taken norco?" Being in a hurry I didn't think about it..but I've had to take 2 and I'm itching and breaking out soo I think I'll have to ask them about that ## They are different medications, however, when someone discovers they are allergic to one medication, there is always a risk that they may find more they are allergic to, as well. In such cases, it is best to stop taking it and consult your doctor immediately, according to NIH warnings, such reactions tend to get worse with repeated exposure. Has there been any change?

Could this be a placebo. this pill has always given me some relief. ## Hello, Gene! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. No, it would actually be illegal for your pharmacy to replace your validly prescribed medication with a placebo. This tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, having been on it for so many years, your body could be building up tolerance to it and you may need to switch ...
