Can hydroxide/acetaminophen 10-325 mg tab be substituted for Norfolk 10-325 mg tab? ## Hello, Kris! How are you? Looks like autocorrect was having some fun with you! :-) However, I happen to be fluent in Typonese! Yes, Norco is just one of the brand names for Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so they are equivalent. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation and dry mouth. Learn more Norco details here. Are there any other questions or concerns? Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can this cause ulcer-like stomach pain?

How long after taking above drug should you feel some relief from the pain? ## Hi Rayna, This may vary slightly for some individuals depending on their metabolism, age, weight, tolerance, and other personal factors; but on average most people say they can feel its effects creep on within about 15 to 20 minutes after taking it. I don't know how severe your pain levels are, but you might want to speak with your doctor if you're barely even noticing the effects of this medication on your pain. How long have you been taking it for?

I have the worst neck pain. I think it is from sleeping wrong. I have a prescription for the hydrocodone acetaminophen 10 325 tab for a hip pain months ago. I took one pill today and it did nothing. Never worked for hip pain either. Can I take 2. I have to sleep tonight. I will go to doc tomorrow. ## Hi Millie, Sorry to hear about your neck pain. I hope you've managed to find some sort of relief since you posted this thread. As far as double dosing is concerned, no one but your Dr. can legally tell you what is or isn't safe for you to take, based on their clinical evaluation. I will go so far as saying that I know people who have done this and didn't have a problem with the additive effects from doing so... But everyone reacts and responds to these drugs differently, so in s...

I am super scared... I have taken a total of 17 hydrocodone 10/300 today. I read (afterward) that 90mg of hydrocone is lethal. I have tried to make myself vomit to get the last pills out, but I cant tell if what is coming up is a dissolved pill or just mucus. I dont want to die!! I dont know what to do. Going to a hospital is not an option, I have children sleeping & no one tp watch them..... ## Hey I'm here :/ ## You need to get checked out for side effects of taking too much Acetaminophen/Tylenol. Anything over 4,000 in a 24 hr period can be toxic. You won't immediately feel the side effects of this, but you do need to get checked out. ## To the user who started this thread, I strongly agree with post #2 in that you should get your levels checked to make sure you don't...

Hi, can you help me please? These particular tablets are white with dots that appear light pink, where is this color derived from - what elements/source/dyes? ## What are the markings on them? That is what would enable me to look up these specific tablets for you to see what's used in them. The actual ones manufactured by Watson do not have the specks in them, but they have purchased a few other generic manufacturers recently. Thus, I need the markings in order to find these exact tablets. Thanks! ## Hi, thanks for your reply. They are tablets oval in shape with light pink specks throughout. One side states, WATSON, the other 3202. If you need any other specs, please email me and I sure hope you can find the info. I seek! Thanks for your help - much appreciated! ## Watson 3202, oval...

i do not get relief from this pain medicine, what is the deal ## Hi baby, Unfortunately when it comes to choosing an appropriate pain medication, there's a lot of room for trial and error. If your body is accustomed to another manufacturer's versions of this, then its ineffectiveness may be attributed to the different binders/fillers that are being used in this particular tablet versus others. That's my theory anyways, given that nothing else is changed on the label when you switch between different manufacturer's brands/generics. The only thing I'd encourage patients to do in light of this, is to kindly ask the doctor to be more descriptive on the prescription he/she writes, in order to pick out a specific manufacturer that you feel works best from past personal exp...

Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the difference in the white and yellow tablet? Submitted by Lily M Stafford ## Does it cause itching? Itching

My daughter has been taking hydrocodone 5/325 every 4 hrs since Thurs afternoon. 24 hrs ago, her dr moved it to every 6 hrs, and she took her last one at 615pm last night (it's now 1250a). Can you switch to extra strength, OTC acetaminophen now (500mg tabs)? Or should we wait longer after her last hydrocodone dose? Please advise. Thank you! ## You can take up to 3000mg of acetaminophen in a 24hr period. Anymore than that should be under a doctor's care/advice. ## According to the FDA, their 'liver warning' goes by a maximum daily dosage of 4,000 mg within a 24-hour period. This is not to say that you shouldn't consult with your doctor first, but it should allow for substantial flexibility in your dosing. If you're currently taking 1300mgs a day (325mgs four times...

taking one for tooth pain not helping can I take two is that safe every six hours ## Hi, Thinker! Sorry about the pain you're having. This is a generic for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and others, which means that the Hydrocodone is a narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Additionally, the Acetaminophen can be toxic, if too much is taken in a day, so I have to say I wouldn't recommend doubling up, unless your doctor or dentist has specifically said it's okay for you to do so. Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you consulted your dentist to have the tooth taken care of, yet? If not, then the pain will just continue to be a recurring problem, because it's not going to go away,...

I have taken hydrocone/acetaminophen Tab 7.5 / 650 for several years for a back injury, I am 72 and it cant be fixed. They changed the law so now I get pink pill 7.5 / 325. My doctor assured me that I wouldn't tell the difference. Well I cant even tell I took one I take 3 a day. Something is not right. The one I was taking was M359. Would you please help. Thanks Max ## Hello, Caaseymax! How are you? Of course there's a difference and I don't know why your doctor wasn't upfront about it. The Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic, so a lower amount of Acetaminophen means it won't be as potent. You may want to ask your doctor about just taking some extra Acetaminophen with it, or perhaps switching to a different medication. This is a narcotic analgesic, so i...

What does this pill look like? ## Hello, Kim! How are you? The Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen tablet from Vintage/Qualitest in the 5/325mg dosage is an oblong, white tablet with red/pinkish speckles that has a stylized V logo on one side and the numbers 3604 on the other. Learn more Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does that match the tablet in question? If not, please post back with the markings on it and the description, so I can look it you for you. Thanks!

If hydrocodone soap upsets stomach will oxycodone do the same ## Not necessarily. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are two different pain medications that effect each person differently. Some people actually respond very well to Hydrocodone and not so well to Oxycodone; and vise versa. Unfortunately there's really no way of knowing what to expect ahead of time with any medication that you haven't used before. Not to mention Hydrocodone is also accompanied by Acetaminophen, which can pose a lot of risks and side effects in and of itself. In that regard, Acetaminophen could very well be the culprit and not Hydrocodone. Have you had a chance to discuss this with your doctor yet?

Did the fda really take away the loratabs or was this just the doctors decsion, because i did better with then, ## Hello, Ellie! How are you? All combination prescription medications with amounts of Acetaminophen in excess of 325mgs per dose have been removed from the market. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## They still make Lortab with the same doses of Hydrocodone. It just has 325 mg of Acetaminphen instead of 500 mg.

What is the difference between the 325mg and the 7.5/325mg tablets? ## Hello, Pat! How are you? There should be 2 numbers listed for anything that contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, for instance, in the second one you've listed, that designates 7.5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, you've not listed the complete information for the first one, since that only lists 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Can you please double check your information and post back? I've been searching on Google for answers and was wondering if you or anyone else knows if they contain sulfites. I get allergic reactions to sulfites and I know these could have them in the inactive ingredients.
