Is the yellow dye in the Qualitest hydrocodone tablets tartrazine, aka FD & C yellow # 5? Many people, myself included, are highly sensitive to this dye. Lots of manufacturers still use it, for unknown reasons. But some have switched to an iron compound for the yellow color (who needs it?!). I have two scripts of hydrocodone. One is stamped m365 and the other is n356. The n356 makes me sleepy & the m365 makes me hyper. Both bottles say they are the same thing, but how can I react so differently to them? ## Both M365 and N356 5, contain a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone at a dosage of 5/325mg. However, there are still some unique differences... The N356 5 pill lists Hydrocodone bitartrate while M365 simply lists Hydrocodone (by itself). I finally have an appointment with a R, Symbicort (2xs a day) heumatolgist on 8/21, my present doctor will not renew my prednisone because I have already had two sets of 3x3, 2x3, etc. I only need 8 pills. I do not understand. Two weeks ago I had a horrible experience. I had never experienced such pain and I could not move. It took me over an hour to get out of bed. I could not move without awful pain. Is it like water or thicker ## From what little information I was able to find, it is noted to be made from a syrup base by many manufacturers; meaning that it would be a thicker consistency than water. A liquid formulation ingredient list may look like this: Methadone Hydrochloride (HCL) BP 1mg/1mL Glucose syrup Green S (E142) Tartrazine (E102) Sunset Yellow (E110) Parabens (preservative) Ethanol Trace chloroform water. There are other mixtures as well that use different syrup bases like Sorbitol syrup or Unpreserved syrup.
