HOW MANY MINUTES BEFORE MEAL GLIMEPIRIDE 2 MG TO BE TAKEN SIMILARLY METFORMIN TIMING ## Glimepiride and Metformin are both oral antidiabetic medications. Ideally, you should take them just at the start of a meal, right before you start eating. The normal release tablets take about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, so by taking them this way, they will have a chance to start working, by the time you are finished with your meal, to better control your blood sugar levels. You may experience some side effects from these medications, such as: nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea and flatulence. I have been on Tri-Pre for awhile now. I didn't want to have my period this month so I skipped the week of sugar pills. I started bleeding a little on Wednesday and it is now Monday and I'm still bleeding. Is this going to stop? It's really light, but annoying and thought I was skipping my period by going right to the new pack. ## Hello, Madi! How are you? It should stop, but it may take a few weeks. By not giving your body that weeks break, you've basically created a hormonal imbalance, skipping the placebo pills doesn't always work for everyone. When I was younger and taking an oral contraceptive, I always spotted, if I tried. If it doesn't stop in a few weeks, or gets heavier, you should consult your doctor. What is the right time to take Glycomet 500 mg a generic version of Metformin? usually i take glycomet 500 SR, after meals, is it correct ## The U.S. FDA actually recommends that it be taken just before a meal, that way it has a chance to start working, by the time you are digesting your food and may experience the most blood sugar fluctuations. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, and hypoglycemia. Is there anything else I can help with?

Started taking 25 mg Jardiance daily about 2+ weeks ago, and have noticed that my blood sugar readings have been going up pretty consistently; from around 7 to 10 - 12 in the morning; and from 8 - 9 to 15 - 17 in the evening. Have not changed any other prescriptions and my diet has been the same right thru. Anyone else seen this? ## Hello, WayneM! How are you? Not every medication works for everyone that tries it. Have you experienced any of the other issues the FDA reports it as being known to cause, such as yeast infection or dehydration? Can anyone else that's been on it chime in with their experiences?

I was prescribed r cinex along with b12 capsule for tb in my lymph node near neck. On the third day after using r cinex, I had severe itching on my legs and had dry rash near inner thighs. I never experienced any rashes so this freaked me out. I used antifungal cream and rash was curer after a week. But itching continued till 3rd week of using r cinex. After a month I felt cold on the ball of right foot along with a throbbing sensation. After two months, I was scared of all the symptoms, so I checked my HB count and sugar levels. My HB count dropped from 11 to 10 and my sugar level was 148 at 2hrs after meal. I was shattered as I m just 29yrs old the reading puts me at prediabetic. I have stopped the medicine as I felt fine by then. But then I started having pins and needles in my hands...

hi im having dytor 10 for reducing my weight and my blood pressure and sugar are i normal level...taking this pill is right or wrong? i have started a day before...plz suggest me a gud answer as im going to get married soon i want to reduce ma weight ## Dytor contains the active ingredient Torsemide, this is a LOOP diuretic that's most commonly used to treat conditions such as high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and edema. It is not safe to use it to try to lose with it, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. It can lower blood pressure, but its effects on weight are only due to the fluid it removes from the body. Removing too much fluid could cause dehydration and it is not the type of weight you'll usually keep off, anyway. Learn more Dytor deta...

Good Day, i am suffering from a yeast infection please advise if any of the following tablets cause yeast infection Atolip Ecotrin Vectoryl plus Glucophage XR SRT Ciplavasc 5mg ## Hello, KC! How are you? If you are diabetic, that could be the reason right there. A sugar imbalance can cause them, because the yeast in your body feeds on it. It is very common for female diabetics to get them regularly. Most doctors just have them keep the medications around to treat them. Is there anything else I can help with?
