I've been taking sleepasil for quite a while now and have been experiencing several possible side effects that may contributed by the drug. My major concern is what is in the drug. Yes it is BFAD approved but i cannot find its make up. thanks ## Sleepasil is actually a supplement claimed to help with sleep issues. It contains: Melatonin, Chamomile, Wild JuJube Seed Extract, Valerian Root, Hops, Scullcap, Passion Flower, Calcium and Magnesium. That said, since this is a supplement, side effects are not known, they have not been studied. What exactly have you been experiencing? I don't know if this is a serious a side effect of sleepasil. Does anybody experience this side effects? Please post some reply...tnx ## I've been using Sleepasil for a few years now (on and off), and I've never heard of a case like yours. It can very well be an allergic reaction to one or a few of Sleepasil's ingredients. When you discontinued, did the edema go away? I would suggest you discontinue usage. ## Sleepasil is just a dietary supplement that's used to help with sleep issues, so it's very odd that you'd experience such a side effect from it. Hi im a user of sleepasil for many months. im taking two capsules everyday.. sometimes even if im taking 2 capsules a day i still cant' sleep. pls help, does it have a side effect?? ## Sleepasil is just a dietary supplement that contains a variety of natural herbs that are believed to help with sleep and promote relaxation. As such, however, it has not been studied for side effects, as is done with actual prescription medications and it's not actually proven to help with insomnia. Have you consulted a doctor about your problem? And Sleepasil is actually not a sleeping pill, it is an over the counter supplement that claims to help with sleep, but this is not actually scientifically, or medically proven. In addition, taking more than the recommended amount isn't safe, just because it is an over the counter product, because some of them can be very potent. Have you consulted a doctor, yet? ...

What's the effect on taking 5 tabs of sleepasil? ## Sleepasil is a supplement product, that is claimed, but not actually proven to help improve sleep. As such, there is really no way to know if it is dangerous to take more than directed, because supplements are not tested like prescription medications. However, too much of anything can be dangerous and have harmful effects, so you should only take the amount directed. The ingredients are: Calcium Carbonate – 40 mg Magnesium Oxide – 30 mg Valerian Root – 100 mg Hops – 75 mg Skullcap – 75 mg Chamomile – 75 mg Passion Flower – 50 mg Melatonin – 3 mg Wild Jujube Seed Extract â€... ...
