Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen,[a] is a medication used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain.[11][12] At a standard dose, paracetamol only slightly decreases body temperature;[11][13][14] it is inferior to ibuprofen in that respect,[15] and the benefits of its use for fever are unclear.[11][16][17] Paracetamol may reliev...

I have osteoarthritis in my spine, knees and hips and have recently developed severe pain in both arms, extending to the fingers on my right hand, worse on getting out of bed in the morning. I was taking Panadol Osteo two three times a day which didn't really help much so my doctor prescribed Mobic. It helps a lot but not completely so am wondering if I should keep taking Panadol Osteo as well as Mobic? Also, is it necessary to have a few days break from Mobic every so often? I take Sotalol for AF, Perindopril for blood pressure, Apixaban as a blood thinner and Carbimazole for hyperthyroidism. I have asked my doctor and pharmacist these questions but am still confused as to what I should safely do even though I have read all the information available. ## Hello, Janice! How are you? ...

My best friend is 4 months pregnant and she already took 24 tablets of primulot nor 10mg. That was 2pcs. twice daily for 6 days. Can it cause birth defects? We are worried if the fetus is still ok because not only that, she took PANADOL (medicine for headache) twice because she suffered headache on the 5th and 6th day of taking primulot nor. Please answer. ## Hello, NIcey! How are you? Primolut Nor contains a hormone that is actually essential to a healthy pregnancy, so no, that will not harm the baby. Pandadol is also considered safe to use during pregnancy, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. She should, or course, let her doctor know that she took them, but there is likely no risk to the baby, as reported by the U.S. FDA. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi, ...

## common uses for metoclopram ## please provide common uses for metoclopram ## When you feel like you might thrown up simply have one tablet and the nausea will go away quite quickly. I have SLE, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, Scleraderma, Raynauds, Achalasia, Brain Tumour, Peripheral Nueropathy and Emphysema, and now it's affecting my heart. The only pain killer I am taking is Panadol Osteo because I'm allergic to morphine, codeine etc. The docs are also passing me back and forth like a hot potato. I know my diseases make it difficult for them to deal with (no picnic for me either) and I understand that very little research has been done on one person having so many rare conditions but I just want the truth and more importantly just a sign that maybe they care.

After many years of back and knee pain with no success on codeine and panadol for pain relief. I changed my dr and he has put me on tramadol 50 to 100 3 times daily, relief was amazing I feel a different person after one week. I do see many people trying to get off the drug on here. But if it was working for you with pain relief why not just stay on it. I am 77 years old so don’t think addiction would be a worry. What do others think .? ## The NIH does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming, but not everyone is prone to developing an addiction to any given substance. I am concerned because aspirin is constantly touted for chest pain, especially to be taken before getting to the ER. I am horribly allergic to aspirin, disprin, toradol , Advil and other painkillers except PAnadol. So, what should be taken instead in the event of chest discomfort? ## I take 180mg verapamil daily. My problem is that until recently the color of the pill I was taking was a light coral. Recently the pharmacy where I was getting the pills told me the coral color was no longer available. It was replaced by a blue color. I think I have an allergy to the blue dye as since the change I have had extreme dry and red rash on my lips that will not go away. At first my Dr thought this problem was related to another prescription I was taking but that Med was discontinued and I was giv...

My doctor has perscribed me Amoxycillin for a tooth infection which is caused by my wissdom tooth. How long until it will start to kick in? I have been taking panadol for 3 days now although i only started my dose of antibiotics yesterday and am keen to see an improvement as i am in quite a bit of pain. ## Amox is an antibiotic which treats the infection and not the pain. All though it may feel better once the infection clears it may not stop the pain. You should see your Dentist who can prescribe pain killers and give you guidance on how to treat the problem to permanently stop the pain.

Hi. My doctor says that 60mgs of Codeine with 1000mg of Panadol is equivalent to 10mg of Morphine. Being that I'm on Oxycontin 80 mgs twice a day, he has said I need to only take 2 tablets of Codeine a day to be comfortable... though my pain has magnified. Previously I was on 6 tablets a day of Codeine. Any thoughts on that?
