I'm having hypothyroid so the doc prescribe me eltroxin tab..n my gastro prescribe me a nexpro tab which has to b taken together can they b taken together in the morning? ## Hello, Wanda! Is it advisable to take eltroxin same time with ferrous forte, or should there be a gap of an hour or so between the tablets. i am taking eltroxin 0.1mg, and i was found resently to have low iron and my doctor prescribed ferrous forte. my concern is to benefit from both medication and do not have one preventing the other from doing its work in me. please help. ## Actually, the Iron can cause less absorption of the Levothyroxine, so they should be taken 4 hours apart and your doctor should check your hormone levels regularly, while you are under treatment. Can Eltroxin be used to treat goiters? ## Eltroxin contains the active ingredient Levothyroxine, which is used to treat hypothyroidism, when the Thyroid gland isn't producing enough of the essential hormone. The swelling of the thyroid gland that can occur is what is commonly referred to as a goiter. im taking eltroxin o.1 mg with evion 400,is it harmful to take both medicine at the same time. ## There are no problems with taking these two medications together. Evion contains the active ingredient Vitamin E. And from what I could gather, Eltroxin (Levothyroxine) does not have any interactions with Vitamin E. However, consumption of certain foods as well as the timing of meals relative to dosing may affect the absorption of T4 thyroid hormone (i.e., Levothyroxine). T4 absorption is increased by fasting and decreased by foods such as soybean flour (e.g., infant formula), cotton seed meal, walnuts, dietary fiber, calcium, and calcium fortified juices. I've been taking Cymgen 60mg for 2 years now and Eltroxin 0.1mg for a year. Is it advisable to take these 2 together? I've been suffering from constant anxiety for 4 months now. I wanted to know if it is safe to take the dianne pill when I am on eltroxin,1mg a day.I just feel like I'm putting on weight and very moody so not sure if it is the pill,only been taking the dianne for almost 2 months and eltroxin for about 5 years.I do blood tests every 6 months to check my thyroid ## Hello, Allison! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. Those can be normal side effects of both of these medications. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and spotting, as reported by the U.S. FDA. It isn't noted as being dangerous to take them, together, but side effects can happen with any medication. Is your doctor aware that you are taking both?

When is the best time to take Coveram 10mg/10mg? ## The dosing instructions note that you should only take 1 tab of Coveram once daily, before meals (on an empty stomach). That said, the timing seems to be left up to the patient in whatever schedule works best for you. My suggestion would be to take it first thing in the morning. That way you don't necessarily have food in your stomach at the time. Sir, I have been by my doctor HCQS 200mg along with Imol Plus twice a day for me since I suffered by swelling in my legs and joint and body pain and viral fever. my mom had high BP 2yrs ago(jun 2007) she got low sodium and sodium was given in icu as her moments were very slow and she started talking irrelevant she also has hypothyroid hence taking electroxin too, she was given nebi 5mg to treat bp and was advised to take oral sodium extra but her headache continued. this june (2009) she again had low sodium perhaps to monitor BP we started giving her tata lite salt which caused low sodium which was again given in icu. but now since 1 august she having loose motion again hospitalized for 15 days wasgiven telma 40 mg, eltroxin, oflaxin , econorm, redotril, ornio, ORS etc.. but even today(7-sep 2009) her loose motion continues. today dr has suggested to give pantop HP kit and DOM-DT. wil this solve the problem. and how many days pantop HP kit given

i take eltroxin 50 and pantodac tadlets together on empty stomach first thing in the morning after 30mins or so i drink my morning tea.after breakfast i take one ecosprin-av 75 and one tablet of shelcal-500.but am not getting any sleep at night at all.am i taking the medicines correctly?should i take shelcal-500 and ecosprin 75 seperately? i have read thyroid medicine can be taken at night after hrs after dinner? pl guide me correctly.

For best absorption, this medication should be taken on an empty stomach an hour before eating anything and it should only be taken with a small amount of water. i need to know if taking the medican trazondone and clarithromyc at one time is this harmfull? ## IT isn't recommended that they be taken at the same time, the Clarithromycin can increase the plasma concentrations of the Trazodone and this could result in worsening of the side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness.
