I am 61 Years old, i got operated lymphnode. After biopsy it says Tuburcolus Lyphedentis. Doctor Subscribed me AKT4 one sascet daily for six months. Do i need to do any test before starting the medicine. LFT has not done. ## AKT-4 kit is an anti-tuberculosis drug containing: 1 (tab) ethambutol 800 mg + isoniazid 300 mg + 2 (tabs) pyrazinamide 750 mg + 1 (cap) rifampicin 450 mg. i started akt tablets from 25-11-2011.from march i have stopped combutol and pyrizine and taking r cinex and benadon. so how long i've to continue r cinex ## AKT doses varies with severity of illness. starting from 7 mnth to 1 yrs or sometimes even more. ethambutol doses can be adjusted by your doc but let your doc take the decision. as koch shows a relapse in many cases. get well soon

Hi, i had been diagnosed with endometrial TB and started a dose of AKT 4 for 2 months and AKT 3 for 6 months. I had also been prescribed progynova 2 mg twice a day from Day 1 to Day 26 and Duphaston from Day 16 to Day 25. I have been having these medications along with the TB medication. Last month i developed an ovarian cyst which was fairly large and ruptured yesterday causing tremendous pain. I stopped taking progynova and duphaston when the cyst was detected, My question is whether progynova and duphaston should be taken while on TB medication, or is it contra indicated. Hi, My mother was suffering from Abdomen TB. She got operated 5 months back. After operation, she was given AKT4 tablet for 4 months and then shifted on AKT3 & Neurobion tablets. But now she is facing problem of continuous acidity and vomitting feel. What could be the reason that after reducing one tablet also acidity increasing? What are the instructions for taking akt3 doses? ## What is the sequence of taking AKT 3 tablet for the cure of TB? When do I take AKT3 tablets? ## They should be taken together, just before a meal, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, and flatulence. Have any of you had good results from taking it?
