I need input from anyone on how to store generic Adderall. Lately I've had big problems with their longevity and am not getting much help from the pharmacist or drug information which says to keep it within room temperature. The present mfg CorePharma are horrible in this respect. Any suggestions for other storage bottles or if it can be stored in the refrigerator? ## I found that it's best to keep Adderall in a max of 77 degrees, but can store up to 86 degrees, although that was before the mfg issues imo at CorePharma. Epic Pharma now has the ANDA to mfg it but won’t be making a new product until October or November. In the meantime still selling Corpharma. Call Epic customer service and report your problems. The more complaints the better. (all complaints to CorePharma a...

trying to find a doctor who will prescribe easily in NJ, who wont ask any questions ## Hi lexie, To my knowledge, virtually any type of doctor can see you for ADHD (pediatrician, psychiatrist, regular MD). Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Also, you can't expect them to not ask any questions, because that is essentially part of their job in making sure they give you the right medication and aren't just handing it over to someone who only wants to abuse it. Depending on your approach, I'm sure Adderall will remain...

Hi, I have recently moved back to the new orleans area and need a doctor who liberally prescribes adderall. Any suggestions in the new orleans/metarie/ westbank area would be great. Thanks in advance ## Adderall is typically prescribed by psychiatrists and pediatricians, while general practitioners typically prescribe the medication for certain off-label uses. That said, I would consider finding psychiatrists and/or pediatricians in your area as opposed to a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. I know this isn't a direct answer to your ...

Adderall XR Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine

Adderall and Mydayis[4] are trade names[note 2] for a combination drug called mixed amphetamine salts containing four salts of amphetamine. The mixture is composed of equal parts racemic amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which produces a (3:1) ratio between dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine, the two enantiomers of amphetamine. Both enantiomers are stimulants, but differ enough to give Adderall an effects profile distinct from those of racemic amphetamine o...

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD my doc prescribe me Ritalin the pharmacy gave me the genetic brand Methylphenidate 20mg ER (LA) caps Mfc Actavis. The first day it was ok, made me feel a little more energy, more focus, but also kinda jittery, the fallowing days I didn't even feel anything other than some anxiety and loss of appetite, I was supposed to take them for a month but after taking them for 15 days I decided they were not doing anything for me, except making me want to take Xanax (which I am also prescribed for anxiety) I normally don't take it unless I really need it and just tiny dosages. Anyways went back to my doc. Told him Ritalin wasn't working for me and I wanted to try Adderall; my doc prescribe me Adderall XR 25 mg capsules. I fill my scrip at Walgr...

Hi is lyrica save to take with Adderall XR? Also I was wondering if lyrica would cause a person who is diagnosed with PCOS, more weight GAIN Then a person who is not? Also is lyrica save to take with Celexa? And should people who has ADHD... Be on Lyrica? ## Hello, Islandgal7! How are you? No, the fact that the person has PCOS will not have any bearing on how much weight gain it causes, it will really be about the same for most people. Taking Adderall XR with Citalopram can increase the effect of the Cialopram, as well as increasing serotonin levels. This can cause a dangerous interaction called Serotonin Syndrome, which can be fatal, so they really shouldn't be combined. Adderall XR is a stimulant that's most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of be...

Hello I need help in deciding what would be the best course of action for me to take. A year ago I started getting prescribed Adderall 20 mg that I was suppose to take once a day. It was really working for me for a couple of months but after three months after an eight hour day I started to feel myself getting tired. I told my doctor this and he changed it to 15 mg twice a day. This seemed to be working, but I usually do not take two in one day. Most of the time I take one by 10 am and I don't want my body to build up a tolerance or a dependency on them so I usually only take the second one if I am having a long day. Anywho, I am starting to feel like just the 15 mg in the morning is not doing anything for me. I feel myself kind of just daydreaming or not really there while in class...

I'm trying to find a doctor or therapist in my area who can help me with my symptoms for adderall diagnoses. I am located in Greenville, Alabama 36037, a mother of four kids and really need someone to help. Thank you ## Hello, Pepper! How are you? Adderall is not a diagnosis, it is a medication. The FDA classifies it as a stimulant that is used to treat conditions, such as ADHD, narcolepsy and shift-work sleep disorder, thus for it to be appropriate, a doctor would need to diagnose you with one of those conditions. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, weight loss and anorexia. Since it is a controlled substance, you aren't going to be able to just call around to doctors and ask them to ...

I have been prescribed Adderal EX 3;20mg a day for ADD) I also took Lortab 5-500 every 4 hours for pain, I take prozac 40 mg, bupropionHCL 300mg, levothyroxine 25 MCG, Estratest full strength. pain releiver lollipop for mouth sores, I might have also taken 2 Extra strength Excedrine. could this combo cause me to pass out and have no pupil response and disorientation? ## The symptoms you described can be symptoms of an overdose, and that might be what occurred if you took all of these medications very close together. Ref: Overdose Symptoms Even when everything you take has been prescribed for you, it is still possible to just end up taking too many medications at once, since they can all cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, lowered heart rate, and lowered breath rate. Is your doctor aware that you are taking all of these medications? I can't check the pain reliever lollipop, without knowing exactly what it contains. However, on the other medications listed, there are several possible interactions that can occur, for instance the Adderall taken with the Bupropion can cause seizures, due to the additive effects of taking them both at the same time. Just moved to santa ana orange county area. Seeking doctor who will prescribe me adderall ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, so a psychiatrist would be required. The best thing to do might be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone that can help. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness, anorexia, weight loss and insomnia.

i am trying to identify a small light blue pill with N008 on one side and a score in the middle of the other side. I was told that it is a 20mg Adderall. I have seen blue Adderall but they are 10mg. ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? The round, blue tablet with the N008 marking actually contains 20mgs of Propranolol, which is a beta blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions and some migraines. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, hypotension and dry cough. Is there anything else I can help with? ## d amphetamine combo salts and name brands are SO effective at 20mg. Generic Adderall and brand names are "Orange book's" - 99.5% in efficacy. SHIRES Adderall is still superior. But the generic versi...

I was taking adderall 10 mg by mouth 3 times a day. Manufactured by Teva. I can't find it at local pharmacy. Anyone know how I can get my medication? ## Hi Shery, I went onto Teva's manufacturer webpage and found a photo of their 10mg Adderall pill (just scroll down a bit): I'm thinking you can simply email the company (using the contact link on their website) and ask them about the pill's availability in your area. Generally, if it is not available, the pharmacy can have it shipped there for your prescription or they can provide you with a different brand/generic of the same drug. Studies show that there are no differences in the quality or effectiveness of generic drugs vs brand name drugs. For more info on this comparison, you can visit the link below: Please post bac...

I recently got the pink round 30 mg tablets and I find they make me tense up a lot more... sore muscles, shaky, hard to get motivated because I'm so distracted from the negative side effects... The only way I like this brand is if I take a Benzo with them to counteract. ## Hi, I think because there is a shortage right now, they are giving out corr brand vs teva(the orange ovals). The only thing I DO like about the pink ones is that they work super fast, like in 10-15 min, where the orange ones take around 45-1 hr. But yes the pink ones are a bit ruff. ## From what I could gather, it looks like the only differences between these two medications are found within the list of inactive ingredients. I went ahead and posted the list for each tablet so you can see for yourself what changes ...

I'm from Texas and I'm wondering if any of you guys have been notified by your PCP about the new triplicate policy? My PCP's office notified me that I have to go in each month for me to get my prescription instead of every 4th refill and I also have to pay whatever amount I pay for co-pay+tripcate and on top of that I'm required to do monthly EKGs. Has anyone heard of such new policy for 2016? I called another office to make an appointment and I was also informed that I have to visit every month to get a refill prescription. ## Don't know about Texas, but in NJ I have to physically do to my Dr. Office every month to pickup the script. I do not necessarily have to visit, just pick it up at the front desk. Although I was told I would need to visit every 3 months, and t...

blue square, 2.5 ## There is no 2.5mg Adderall available in the U.S. The minimum dosage is 5mgs (NDC 0555-0762 for details.) What are the markings on the tablet in question? I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. I am not sure what the difference is in these two pharmaceutical companies BUT something is not right with those orange round ones. ## There can be some slight fluctuations in generic medications, they are actually allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or ...

I started adderall of 10mg in 4th grade after I showed obvious signs of ADHD in the classroom. I am now a junior in high school and now take 30mg. I have noticed I am most likely addicted to it, but without it, i cant focus in school! On days when i dont take it im very irritable, annoying, and....... pressured, as in when theres too much going on i get angry, confused, and dizzy. Is there anything i can do to help calm these side effects WITHOUT more drugs? ## Well first, since you are so young, I would like to reassure you that there is a different between addiction and dependence. Addiction occurs when someone uses a drug all the time for the wrong reasons. It may start out legitimately enough, like their needing it for pain or ADHD, but usually people in these cases like the effects...
