Hi all, I'm desperately seeking advice. I have decided to come off opiates. I had my last little bit at around 1pm today. The problem is, I have two young babies so it's impossible for me to look after them while in bad withdrawals. The only thing I have to help is Suboxone. Can someone tell me the best way to use the Suboxone to stop/ease the withdrawals? I know I will have to suffer to a certain extent and I understand that I have to wait a while before taking my subs but, please give me the best, most painless way to do this, keeping in mind that I have a two year old and a four month old baby boy whom I still have to take care of on my own while doing this. Please help. ## Getting into a rehab program is the best, but I understand your situation. Try using Kratom. There are ...

I have been of Endcot for over a year. How do I get off of these? Safely w/out withdrawals? ## I haven't been able to locate information on what specific medications help with Endocet withdrawals. However I did find info regarding what one should do in the event of getting off this medication: "After chronic use, Endocet (oxycodone + acetaminophen tablets) tablets should not be discontinued abruptly when it is thought that the patient has become physically dependent on oxycodone. If the discontinuation of opioids is therapeutically indicated, gradual tapering of the drug over a 2-week period 'will prevent withdrawal symptoms'. The severity of the withdrawal syndrome depends primarily on the daily dosage of the opioid, the duration of therapy and medical status of the ind...

Just started 1 week ago, I have anxiety and trouble sleeping, when will this go away after 24 years of smoking. ## There's really no precise time frame that anyone can give you, a lot of it depends on you, both your body and how much you mentally stress over it. Learn more Habitrol details here. The best suggestions I can give you are to distract yourself and try some gum or mints. Have you joined a stop smoking support group? That often makes it much easier.

I stopped taking cymgen 60, as I was picking up too much weight and felt tired/lazy during the day,I was extremely forgetful and my concentration was bad most of the time, it made me feel more depressed. The only withdrawal symptoms I do have is feeling tired, nauseaus, insomnia and light headed. It is almost a week since I stopped it, will the symptoms get worse or stay the same? Howlong will it last? ## Hello, Mees! How are you feeling? I really can't say, it depends on your body and how it reacts to stopping the medication. The symptoms may improve, or they may worsen a little yet, before they start to taper off and your body readjusts. Have you consulted your doctor about it?

I have been taking Nexito 10mg from past 13 months. Now have stopped the same from past 3 weeks but have symptoms like Dizziness, Body Ache, Muscle pain especially in thigh and calf muscle. Are these the withdrawal symptoms and appreciate if you can advise as to how long these will persist. Is it advisable to take any medicine to stop these symptoms or will it go naturally. I am ready to wait and undergo these pain as I do not want to take Nexito 10 mg as there seems lots of ill effects of these tablets. Stopping Viibryd: From 40mg I tapered down to 7 days of 20mg followed by 7 days of 10mg. The biggest side effect I felt was mostly irritability and anxiety. I was able to go into work but tried to keep to myself. I felt sick. Didn't want to socialize. When I finally stopped the med completely it was pretty bad. I'm on day 6 now. Have been unable to work, drive or leave my house ... for fear of ending up in jail or hospital from flipping out. I feel a constant anger and want to break things, and have yelled at the top of my lungs to two people on the phone. I feel disoriented, dizzy, itchy, and confused (itchiness was actually nothing new for me). I'm confined to my house until further notice. Very unpleasant! ## Hi gistell, Sorry to hear about your situation with Viibryd. Th...

I am want ing to stop use of this medicine. Wish to have ways of doing so. All at once or day by day Thanks ## Mellaril is an antipsychotic drug, so coming of it cold turkey and without a doctors supervision and assistance can be very dangerous. I suggest speaking to your doctor about the best way to stop this medication. In addition, if you have been on it for awhile, then your body had become dependent on the drug and you will experience withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it abruptly.

My 63y/o mother survived chemo and radiation for throat cancer but was unable to stop the morphine 15mg twice a day without horrible withdrawal symptoms. Her MD put her on Suboxone 8mg/2mg once a day in June. She even took half the strip on most days and the doctor was very pleased and anticipated that she would be able to stop altogether in November. She unfortunately had a stroke 14 days ago and has been in the hospital. The first 7 days she was confused from the stroke but now she is weak and forgetful but is no longer disoriented. She told me tonight that she thought she needed her Suboxone. She said she thought she was going thru withdrawal. I was floored. She is not having any outward signs of withdrawal: no back/stomach pain, no nausea/vomiting, no sweating or tremors. Isn't ...

Okay. I've been eating Xanax like candy since February when my dr did prescribe me 1 mg a day... But I often took more than that. I went from about 8 mg a day to 1 mg a day a few weeks ago... My withdrawal symptoms are awful, I even had a seizure 2 months ago when I tried to go cold turkey. I have excessive sweating, my forehead is on FIRE, I can't eat, I feel like I'm panicking constantly. What are my odds of dying at this point? I mean, it's been a few weeks... Wouldn't that have happened by now? I'm scared. My dr cut my 1 mg dosage completely in half to .5 mg a day... I just need some advice... I don't know what to do. ## It happened to me on 3 mg a day. I stopped cold turkey and experienced all the symptoms you mentioned and some others you didn't. I ...

I have been on Cymbalta, then changed to the generic Cymgen (30mg) for 8 years. I decided after this amount of time to stop and asked my psychiatrist on ways to do this. FISRT of all, my psychiatrist said that because i was on such a low dose that there will be NO side effects of stopping the drug. My response was to inform her that on days i have missed taking my meds i have severe head zaps and couldn't manage just stopping (Cold Turkey) if that was the case. She then put me on a course to taper off: X2 weeks 30mg Cymgen & 20mg LilyFluoxetime (prozac)- After two weeks i stopped the Cymgen and carried on taking the lily for another two weeks as requested by my doctor. I had my last Lily on the 18th of July 2016. It is now the 10th of August 2016. The withdrawals are so severe t...

Can you please tell me what the withdrawals are like after stopping Trika? My mother has recently stopped taking them and is getting very depressed. ## Hello, Navgan! How are you? This medication is listed as containing the active ingredient Alprazolam and yes, it can cause rebound depression, rebound anxiety and the risk of seizures, upon sudden withdrawal, as listed by the FDA. How long was she taking them and what dosage was she taking? ## My dad is addicted to Trika 0.5mg and the doses are getting increased. Can you please tell me if it is possible to come out of this addiction with or without withdrawal symptoms? If yes, how should we proceed? Does anyone have information on withdrawing abruptly from Fanapt after taking for over a year! ## Hello, Maija! How are you? Fanapt contains the active ingredient Iloperidone, which is an atypical antipsychotic that's used to treat various mental health conditions. Learn more Fanapt details here. I'm in withdrawal. how long does it take? ## There is no certain answer to this, it depends on how long you have been taking it and how much you have been taking.
