I have been abusing Opana 40mg each day for 2 months or so. I have recently cut down my intake to a quarter(10mg) every few days. I recently quit for 5 days and then snorted a half (20 mg) on saturday night @ 11 pm. I have a urine analysis on monday @ 3pm. Will it appear on the results? What can i do to ensure that i pass the test? my DR prescribed me Opana ER 40 mg said they were suppose to be stronger then the oxy 80 which I sniffed 4 times a day I couldn't tell him that has anybody tried opana 40mgs this way ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone, it is a very strong narcotic pain medication. I have been snorting 20s, 30s & 40s on a daily basis for 2 months now. Usually just one whole pill of one of these three diff mgs seperated throughout the day for sever lower back pain. I am finally being referred to a pain clinic but just need to make sure this will be out of my system before they admit me & take a urine speciman.. I cannot afford not to be treated bc I am miserable! I sniffed 1/2 of an Opana 30mg on Friday August 6th. I have a drug test today, Monday the 9th. I'm freaking out. I took one of those take at home drug tests and it says I'm positive of OXY. I have taken Vicodin, Loritab(cet), Hydrocodone, etc. Percoset make me hyper for some reason. The question I have is I just came across some 40mg OP(yeah OP) oxycontin. I have been taking o pana's for about 7 1/2 months now. Everything from the 5 mg ir's to the 40 mg er's. I snort them. I have never actually took them oraly. Sometimes I snort up to 90 mg's a day. The round white pil you are talking about with 262 on 1 side & what appears to be a crescent moon is a 15mg extended release oxymorphone "opana" which are definantly made everywhere in the united states! So it is a very common opiate. They are strong depending on your tolerence but would strongly suggest doing less if it's your first time trying them! They make several different ones such as round 5's, 10's & the round 15's with the moon. They also make 5mg, 10mg, 20mg, 30mg & 40mg opana ER which looks like a stop sign & different color for each different mg. Now in some states they have reformulated the stop sign shaped opanas into a gel so that abusers cant crush to snort but even now people have figured out ways to do that! They are very addict...

can you break an op in half? not to snort or anything, but just to take half at once and half later? 40 mg is tooo much for me. ## Doing so is not advisable, because this is a time released medication and although Purdue Pharma has tried to reformulate this to prevent it from being able to release all the medication, at once, there is still a risk of too much being released if you break or cut the pill. This contains the narcotic Oxycodone ad if the dosage is too high for you, you should speak with your doctor about getting a lower dosage prescribed. Since narcotics can cause depression of the central nervous system, it can be very dangerous to get too much of the medication, at once. Are there any other questions?

please dont start, once you do it affects your life in a way that you eventually start to feel hopeless. I started because I needed a pain remedy & now Id rather deal with the pain than have to battle this everyday the way that I do...it has ruined me, all I wana do is stay locked in a room preparing my daily doses ## Get on suboxone. I was doing at least 3 opana 40 a day and perks oxy n whatever else I could get. Subs gave me my life back.

How much should it the co pay for a 15Mg opana be? ## Prices definitely vary from place to place; I've searched around the internet and have seen it range from $1.50 to $2.00 per "mg" - making it a high price to pay. Other references note that you can get them for around $35 per 40mg pill (or cheaper if bought in bulk). This can of course vary and is only intended to be an estimate. Considering the price per pill, it may be worth while to look into other types of insurance that will cover this medication.
