How To Iv Suboxone

Iv been on Suboxone for almost 2 years now , and iv tried every single manufacturer you can think off, starting from the very first orange oval shape ones which are the original ones not generic ones , from that to strips ,an415 orange round , white round moon imprint to, white round lemon lime ones to bupes, which are the small round ones and have a 8 logo on the front and a arrow logo on the back , and in my opinion those are the best ones because they have no naloxone in then just 8 mg of buprenorphine, those ones work the best but they are not given out much because or abuse, I am on the round peach ones right now imprint 54 375 and they are working perfectly for me , as a matter of fact they work really good for me way better then the white round ones with the imprint if moon on th...

Can I take suboxone I waited 15 hrs and I feel like crap ive been on H about a half g to a g a day ## Hello, James! How are you? You need to follow your doctor's instructions and only take it, when you are in full withdrawal. Taking it too soon could cause you to go into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been on h for years well now I'm addicted to the h that has fentynl in it an I just got suboxane prescribed to me I'm trying to get off this crap but I have actually been thrown into really horri...

Yes I live in Ohio I am an oppiate addict who is on disability ive been through it all i want to know if Ohio Disability ssd covers anything the meds or the visits to the doctors? ## Hi Gene, Based on my research, the Social Security Administration (SSA) webpage for some reason, does not actually list any of the types of services or disability that it supposedly covers. Basic information about the program can be found in the following pdf document. But I have yet to find specific details on coverage: ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10029.pdf However, from the looks of things, it seems like your best bet at this point would be to either contact the SSA directly regarding their coverage, or to discuss any type of disability information with your doctor. Reason being is that every doctor may have diffe...

Hell no its a waste. No matter what order u take the 2, you run the risk of getting more sick, wasting your pill or money, or worse, both! Haha never take the 2 in the same day. Ive been on subs 4 years (4years too long) but I would have to stop taking suboxone for 2 weeks of being sick before id feel the effects of oxy roxy or hydrocodone. Good luck to ya. Take another sub if anything the 2 just dont play nice together ## Hello, I don't know if your post was intended to be directed at another user (based on your wording); however, I do agree with you in that Suboxone should not be taken with any other opioid medications. I'm not one to speak from personal experience, so I'll leave the more concrete details to others who've already experienced this. But until the subs ar...

Is it better to take Suboxone twice a day to stay feeling well? I'm on 20 mg, should I need more? ## Only your doctor can recommend the dosage and dosing frequency that is best for you. ## I take mine twice a day but I only take 8 millagrams. That is all you really need because it levels out and has a celing effect. Trust me iv been up to 24 millagrams a day and it is not worth the money and pain of withdrawl.

ive taken 132mgs of suboxone over the last 2 weeks how can i guit ## Hello, Nolabob! How are you doing? A slow taper would be best and safest, your doctor should be able to help you set up a proper tapering schedule that will prevent most of the withdrawal effects. Have you discussed it with them, yet? This is an opiate, so withdrawal effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, fever and chills. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. ## Hey Vermon, My Dr has me on 12mg of suboxone 1 time daily I told him I wanted to get off of them asap I was sick and tired of being sick an tired Im 62 yrs old an had an addiction problem all my life or rather since I was 8or 9 yrs old . I have been taking two to three 8mg Dilaudid ,iv, for the past 3 years. I am desperately wanting to take suboxone and get off the D. I had done a quarter of a D right before bed then 6 hours later I did a half of a sub strip. I was able to go to work and I was fine. I am wanting to do the same thing now and get off of this junk but after I see people that wait I see people that waited 16 hours to take a sub and I still went in to precipitated withdrawals. Did I just have a stroke of luck the first time around or is it possible to have the same results again? I pray to God its possible! Any useful insight is welcome. ## Before starting Suboxone, you actually need to be in full withdrawals. Otherwise, as you've noticed from others, it can throw you into severe withdrawals, due to the ...

Ive been on methadone for a year 30mg daily I took that yesterday im out I have 4 mg subutex can I take it ## I was on (110) of methadone b 4 I switched 2 suboxone. My Dr. Told me I had 2 wait until I started feeling withdrawals b 4 I started the suboxone so it will work properly. I'm not saying that u have 2 b in a ball of withdrawals, but, u need 2 feel some. ## From what I've been reading, Post #1 is right about the waiting period. Apparently it is best to wait until you gradually start feeling the onset of withdrawals in order to get the most out of the Suboxone. So however long it may take to feel withdrawals from Methadone, this time frame can be different for everyone based on tolerance, dosage, frequency of use, metabolism, and several other individual factors. Some peop...

I started taking suboxone almost 11 weeks ago. I was only taking 4mgs and today i went down to 2mgs. How long will it take me to taper to nothing and not have withdrawals? Please help. I am so sorry I ever touched these things. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Regardless of how low you taper, you will likely still experience some minor withdrawal symptoms, once you finally stop altogether. Has your doctor provided any instructions? It does contain a very potent narcotic, to you do need to taper off of it as slowly as possible. Is this the only medication you're on? ## ive been taking about 2mg maybe less for about 2 years. havent taken it in three days trying to quit cold turkey. the only withdrawel symptoms ive had was no energy very little insomnia and a little anxiety eapecially whe...

Learn more Suboxone details here. That is the only difference between them. Since it is a narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. I don't know what to do anymore. ## Where you taking Suboxone from an addiction treatment doctor? If so, then that would explain the problem. I have been taking pain pills for 7 years. I detoxed myself off Methadone and I almost had a heart attack. I started using when I was 23. I hurt my back, broke my tail bone, then at 25 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Now at 28, 13 surgeries later I'm addicted. I want my life back. I did detox myself once and for 6 months I was clean. The pain associated with detoxing was horrible. My chest hurt, my heart hurt, my legs, back, neck you name it. I have an enlarged kidney and I had a kidney stone that had to be surgically removed. That's all she wrote. I am a single mother trying to make it in this world. I have fought to save my life. Im want to kick my opiate addiction! I want to know how much suboxone will i need to take a day? Does it really work? How much does it cost?...etc... Ive been taking opiates for 10 years but only everyday for the past 4 years. I take 100mg-150mg of morphine or 20-30mg of methadone a day. I tried to quit cold turkey by slowly weaning myself down for about 2 weeks to nothing. What a mistake that was, even after 7 days of not taking anything i was just as sick as i was on day 1. I thought about getting on the methadone clinic but its too much of a hassle for me. I also dont want anyone to know about my addition, kinda hard to do when you need to go to the clinic everyday. I heard suboxone is expensive is it really worth it? I can live without being "high" but i cannot live threw th...

Hi,Ive recently began suboxone treatment @ (8mg/2mg) twice daily, today is my 3rd day. My question is straightforward, how many mgs of suboxone is "considered" closely equal to only 80 mg of hydrocodone? Am simply trying very hard to get my dose correct, seems doctor overmedicated me during induction. I would greatly appreciate any feedback, thanks & best wishes to everyone. ## Hello, Staci! How are you? There really is no direct conversion, but the rough one that's usually used is 1.2mgs of the Buprenorphine to each 30mgs of Hydrocodone, but the person's overall tolerance to narcotics must be factored in, along with the fact that the Suboxone is dosed once a day, where the other was taken several times a day. So, that's probably why you were given the 8/2 dosage. Ha...
