How To Iv Op Oxy

Okay I've got one of these from a friend because my backs been in pain a few days out of the week usually. Last week I took about 5 vicodin in 2 days.. But this is a 30op oxy and ive never messed with something this strong.. So what I'm getting at.. Is it safe for me to take this knowing I have a low tolerance? I'm about 100lbs.. ## If you have a low tolerance to narcotics, taking this could be risky, due to the fact that it can cause depression of the central nervous system and since Oxycodone is very potent, the starting dose is usually much lower. I have a freind that has taken 12 xanex bars he has taken 8 in the past. He is very troubled and I want to know how much can a body take when they are use to taking so many at a time. ## here is the deal. benzos react wtih your GABA receptors. and taking that many bars is NOT good for your brain chemistry because it alters it. Meaning your GABA receptors wont fire liek you use to due to the receptor expecting some sort of drug. So if no drugs come than the GABA receptors cant produce naturally the right dose. I am on both of these meds do to severe medical issues. I take 40 Mg of opana 4 x daily and 30 Mg of oxycodone 5 x daily as well as Nortriptyline 150 Mg twice daily and neurontin 600 Mg 3 x daily. Needless to say a few different stomach medication due to chronic nausea. Oh and also phenergan pills and injectable. My question is has anyone found anything other than multiple medications to relieve severe chronic pain. ## I also have severe medical problems and nothing works. For two years was on 3Mg iv dilaudid every three hours and 120 percocet 10/325 every month. Zofran for nausea. Ive been on Roxicodone 30 mg for 4 years and I take four of them a day plus I also take 30mg oxycontin twice a day. I just moved to Detroit and went to a knew pain dr and he put me on Percocet and Opana which does nothing considering how long I have been on my other pain meds.. The np 12 10mg oxycodone hcl pills are just as good if not better than the k's or A's or any other 10mg oxy for that matter..like the previous person said it all matters how your body metabolized the drug...bottomline everyones chemistry is diffrent...ive been on narcotics since i was 16 and I have always hated the "this brand is better than this brand" discussion ## @Grizzy, You have a good point about 'how the body metabolizes the drug due to different body chemistry', as opposed to one brand being "better" than another. I am not a big fan of the formula change but find the op oxycontin to still work on my chronic pain. The main thing I notice is Ill get only 8 hours of relief where the older formula had lasted longer and stronger. I went to 13 pharmacies in La to fill my prescription and every pharmacy told me they were back ordered and a couple told me they dont carry it because they have been robbed. Ive never had trouble filling it where I live in the Bay Area but I'm down here for the month. Due to the proliferation of abuse and diversion, it is now only manufactured by Purdue. Even when the ones on the market listed as being from Ethex are made by Purdue via the same formulation, they are just a licensed distributor. There have been many complains about them not being as effective and causing odd side effects. my friend gave me a teal colored capsule with no imprints and said it was a Roxy ## Based on my research Roxicodone's dosage forms do not come in teal blue capsules or any capsule for that matter. However there is a conspiracy going around throughout various forums on Google, stating that its generic equivalent (oxycodone) comes in an unmarked blue capsule. This would only be the case if the pill was either foreign or made in a home lab and sold on the street; since the FDA requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint to identify them by. i do not think the op version of oxycontin are working.they seem to go through me without digestion.i have literally seen them in the toilet up to 6 hours after ive taken them so im not getting relief from the pain. are the old version ones still made and provided to pharmecies? ## No, the old ones are no longer available. Ive been taking the oxycontin for 10 yrs. best drug I ever had till the ops just came out. I only swallow them as directed. It used to take 30 min for me to feel them. Now its 3 hrs. and then it just slowly releases. A lortab is even better now. used to take a 40mg at 5 am-11am-and 5 pm. they worked great. some people I know couldnt take them for i made them drowsy or sick at their stomach. not for Me, it kept Me motivated and was perfect for my arthritis.
